Have no insurance. Where can I fill my Suboxone prescription cheap? Paying 320 dollars for a 30 day supply - 8mg
I'm in Colorado I get about 75 pills a month. $8 a pop is steep, is not like roxy.
Yes I agree. I am on 12 mg/3mg Suboxone strips and used to be on 8mg/2mg strips. I have researched online that a lot of people prefer the subutex tabs over strips. I had never tried the tabs before and knew someone who got them so I traded out of curiosity. I was extremely disappointed in the tabs. I even tried them a second time to make sure and can tell you with certainty that the strips are much, much better. If you are unsure on which to use, go with the strips......they saved my life!! Thank-you Suboxone!!!!!
I live in Kentucky, I feel your pain, I have two kids and a family to take care of and been an opiate addiction for 5 years now. I've been on subboxne for 2 months. I am prescribed 3 8mg tablets a day. I have Medicaid insurance which pays for 60 a month which would be two a day, I pay out of pocket for the other 30. Have u tried for Medicaid or Medicare??
I have no insurance but work less than part time. I can not find any subs for the 8 dollars everyone on hear says they are with no insurance. I've been an opiate addict for 4 years then detoxed myself and was clean for 4.5 months but still felt like crap and relapsed. I really Really want to be able to get on the subs and will even pay outta pocket for them if i can find them that cheap. I live in CT and i cannot find any place where i can get them for that cheep ($8) without some kind of insurance plan that is 100 of dollars a month. Can someone plz help me or tell me where i can go to get them for around 8 bucks a pop cause i dont really know how much longer i can do this. i just want to be able to get on with my life and not worry day by day how im gonna come up with the money to keep buying more opiates just so i can work and function. I don't do it to get all f***ed up. For the most part i take a little dose throughout the day not to get sick because just enuf of it makes it so i can function, eat food, talk to ppl, get up in the morning and work. Can someone plz point me in the right direction. PLZ HELP ME. I'm 34 now and i dont know if im gonna make it to 36 by my own hand. And on top of it i cant tell anyone who i love cause it would break their heart so this is killing me doing this all to myself. plz help.
Ask for a manufacturers discount card and it will cost u $187
Ask you doctor for subutex it much cheaper and does the same thing . It's in a pill form but it does not have the blocker
I like ur answer. yes DR's esp. think that if u are poor, etc. u must be trash. I really don't know how this works. I just got on here. I use to be a nurse and I NEVER treated any of my patients like they were not a human. But now I have chronic back pain and it seems everyone just thinks I am not in pain. I don't know if this will reach u but my e-mail is {edited for privacy}. GOD bless.
I was on suboxone. And the first dr visit i payed 150 plus 350 the 150 was a first time deposit fee and U/A was included in that fee lol. I knew I'd pay cash. And then they gave me 2 weeks supply of subs. I have a government type based insurance. And my dr said at first they won't covernit. So go pay cash for 4. Then call him back and he'll prw approve filling. Meaning i guess if u have this type insurance and ur getting some type medication like this a dr has to call the insurance and say yes i prescribed it and then they will fill the whole amount. And i actually never had to pay cash but he said if i did then they would reimburse me. And my next dr visit I'd again have to pay 350 per visit but my script would be free. And the subs made me feel weird and i went through pw. So in the end i said f*** it. And trued to taper myself off instead of just switching addictions. And it worked for 3 weeks until i had a flare up of my fibromyalgia and ulcerative colitis at the same time. (Both auto immune diseases). I think it's f***ed up i can find a dr who would give me subs if i pay cash but even with insurance and cash i can't find a dr to prescribe my lyrica and my uc meds, and I've been on lyrica majority of my life and even when i went to rehab. But when i got it I had to find a new dr and couldn't fast enough so i ran out of my meds. And the rehab only helped for 2 weeks, a rehab i payed 30,000 to go to btw. And when i was on lyrica i didn't have the urge to use drugs. Weird, right?
Well that's actually less, 60x8=480.
I would change doctor bc they can get you approved in one day. They called your doctor and get it approved
Well... No response here on my original 'I Need Help" posting.
:(
try and see if the name brand films are covered. the government prefers you take the buprenorphine/naloxone combo. just an idea.
people who went to college and made something of their lives. nice GFYOURSELF. EVERY ONE WAZ not given the same opportunities if you think so then you have been blinded and conformed to certain beliefs like addicts are bad and should be left to suffer for life or od on purpose as to not be a burden on you.. gfy

The generic Buprenorphine tablets are crap. They make a LOT of people ILL. I know of at least 4 people who will sit in full-on opioid withdrawal before taking a generic Bup tab. It causes all 4 of them to become violently ill, vomiting over and over until dry heaving sets in and them goes on longer, about 4-6 hours of that. Another person had stroke-like symptoms from taking a 1/4 of one of those toxic crap pills. I didn't have those problems with them though, my issue with them was that they're WEAK. I can get by on 1/2-1 Suboxone film daily (I take them to manage chronic pain, not necessarily for substance abuse) and the generic Bup tabs, I'd take 2, sometimes the full 3 a day I was prescribed and I still didn't get the relief I got from just 1 film. So after a couple months of those awful pills I switched to name brand films and my dose went back down to 1, at the most, per day.
Your ignorance is astounding. I don't understand why every m***** trying to insult someone brings up who they are voting for. I cannot wait until this election is over so people like you will just shut up about it. I am not a Bernie supporter. Nor am I "left" or "right". Unless you are talking about which hand is most dominant. I am ambidextrous. I use both sides of my brain. People were talking about where to get their prescription filled for cheaper. They are paying out of pocket. That means they don't have any insurance, let alone state insurance in which you so kindly pay for. The people that are on Suboxone cost tax payers a considerable amount less money than being addicted to drugs does. The people doing drugs do not want it anyway. Do you know anything about it? Why even be on this site? Ah that's right, to put people down so you feel better about your narcissistic self. I work 55-80 hours a week. I contribute to society, help people and make the world a more positive place. What do you do for a living? Your post just shows how angry you are. You can make an appointment to discuss some of these issues or maybe medication would be more effective? It would be nice to be happy, don't you think?
These people are just asking for help. There is no need to be a *****t. I feel so bad for you having to put other people down to feel good about yourself. Maybe therapy can teach you how to direct your insecurities and anger elsewhere. It must be exhausting to constantly have your guard up and be so scared. I wish you the best. And while you're at it, how about looking up empathy, compassion, sympathy and common decency in your dictionary.
I suppose your obscured word, the name you attempted to classify me as, is just as idiotic as yourself. How do you assume I have insecurities and anger? Because I dislike so many people bragging about their drug addictions whilst collecting federally provided insurance? If that is the reason you claim I exude anger, then I agree with you. I should not be forced to pay for the scum of the world, because they have absolutely ruined their lives, then they take money out of my pockets. I almost didn't want to buy another car due to the ever-increasing taxes I pay to those whom are addicted to illicit drugs.
I presume you wish for Bernie Sanders to become president, in hopes of you continually collecting federally provided benefits. Drug addicts collecting federally backed benefits is essentially them spitting in the faces of people who worked hard, went to college, became professionals, and have good careers. Why should we be forced to aid you, so that you can continue to kill yourself with those drugs?
I assure you my knowledge of those simplistic words is just fine. Why not return the favor by showing us, the people supporting you, your active use of those words. Thank you for being a leech. I now do not feel bad about classifying you as scum.
Sincerely,
A Pissed Off Java Engineer
I found this page after watching 20/20 where they profiled New Hampshire and its epidemic with Opiate addiction. I am so very sorry to read just how expensive Suboxone is for all of you. I know all of you struggle to "feel normal" and have a life away from the daily search for RX drugs, the emotion comes through in your typed messages on here. I read where one commenter mentioned not having a job and applying for Medicaid. In many states there is Health Insurance available via the State that one can get when they ARE Working! In Indiana its called HIP 2.0 HIP stands for Healthy Indiana Plan. Indiana didn't accept the stimulis packet offered by Pres Obama so by Law Indiana had to supply Ins for people like me who don't qualify for Obamacare. Check with your state and see if they have a similar plan. Also you can contact the Pharm Company and tell them you are Indigent which simply means your too poor and cant pay or afford the medicine they make. I wish all of you Success and Peace. God Bless!

Wow, what state are you in? I need a doctor in wv. Most won't take my medical card. Any suggestions?
