Cost Of Suboxone (Page 4)
UpdatedHave no insurance. Where can I fill my Suboxone prescription cheap? Paying 320 dollars for a 30 day supply - 8mg
The SSI shouldn't matter. They say insurance matters but if your insurance won't support your treatment then I would assume you would qualify.
This may sound strange but is there any way we could speak over the phone? I do better talking. If not hun its no biggy! Person to person is easier for me is all. If you want my number let me know.

Sorry bud u ain't going to get it any cheaper currently the cheapest pharmacy I found I pay 8.10 a strip and pay 330 for 42 a month it sucks but I've been on it for 2 years and only way u can get it cheaper is if u have insurance hope this helps
Hey Ash,
Can you give me that number? My boyfriend has been taking suboxone films for a year now and paying $230 every 2 weeks. I had surgery so I haven't been working and it's hurting having to pay almost $500 a month. We also live in Ohio :) thanks ahead of time!
Well that's odd Cooper, seeing as how I now pay nothing for mine ;). If your doctor only has one or two patients enrolled then you qualify. He's allowed three Max.
First you need to call and ask your doctor if he has reached his patient maximum yet for Here to Help. If he has, good luck trying to find another doctor to see you w/out waiting three months, especially in Ohio! Call your doctor and let me know and I can give you the number.
Hey Ang, here's the number. Give them a call first and ask if they can check your doctors status and go from there. I just got to remembering how my doctors receptionist lied to me saying that they were full when they had NO ONE on it. I'm his first one! Wtf right?!

The pharmacuetical company that manufactures suboxone has a patient assistance program that offers free or low cost medication for those who have low income and no insurance. ( includes medicare and medicaid) You have to apply for it and that can be time consuming- but when you need the medication it is well worth the trouble.
It took me at most a week from the initial phone call to receiving my card ID numbers. That's not long at all. I was approved right over the phone. The trick is having them FAX not mail the paperwork. I save $400 a month now. That's $1200 every three months, I consider a spending a couple minutes on the phone over the course of a business week well worth the money I saved. The only downfall is that the Here to Help assistance maximum is only a year and I have a two year plan. Hopefully I can get Medicaid assistance. Oh and another thing, say I started insurance coverage tomorrow all I have to do is call here to help and they suspend the assistance so if you ever loose your insurance you can still have coverage through Bennett renickers program. It's worth it guys!
I went through the same thing paying all this money for doctor visits just to get the prescription. The suboxone film works better but the taste overall on these pills/film is so nasty! I have just got a film through someone who sells them to help quit my vic habit. The taste is so damn nasty, that trust me, you wont need a full script of them. I took 1 qtr piece of subox yesterday and it still working for me to overcome the w/d symptoms of opiates. By tomorrow I am throwing out the subs and am done with opiates. For what you go thru tasting that nasty subox s***, you wont wanna put yourself through that again and should be easy enough to stop. I have been on vics for over 10 years. I bought a subox strip (film) from a friend for $12 and I only used 1/4 piece. Im good...
i get 60 - 8mg film per month that i dont use so

Well good for you. May I ask...what was the point of telling everyone on this thread that? The most common complaint on here is the cost of suboxone and how people are having trouble paying for them. No matter, I guess you just wanted to rub it in other people faces how forturnate you are. I mean seriously, give me a reason why you would tell everyone on the thread that...Well, I do know of one other reason but we wont go there "hustler'.
People of this thread:
I got some news from my psychiatrist last week that a generic suboxone (Pill Form) will be on the market relatively soon. However, he did say that the 1st generic manufactuer of the suboxone tablet would have exclusive rights to the generic for 6 months I believe. This means that the price of the generic will likely still be high...However, once their 6 months exclusivity deal is over, the market then become a free for all. Other companies will start making it, hence competion, hence the price will hopefully come down. Dont take this as the gosphel but my psychiatrist did tell me to be on the look-out.
yea can i get that number for here to help please? i'm on subs for over a year, it works, its good and it keeps you away from temptations and even tho its having a tall on my finances it is way way cheaper than not gettin treated for addiction. and less stress too.

Hey I'm on disability and Medicare covers my suboxone that I'm on now for pain issues but I have paid in the past when i was being treated for opiod dependancy and it went from 9 a pop to 12 a pop so important is now many primary doctors can write out the script well generic is buprenorphine naloxone look into it not jus addiction specialist. State Medicaid paid for it to for a while do some research it's worth it. If u have any questions please feel free to contact me.
