Coreg For Blood Pressure (Top voted first)

Started taking Coreg approximately 1 yr ago. Started at 10mg daily then increased to 10mg bd for past 5mths. About 1 month now is having increasing fleeting bouts of dizziness. Would like to know if this happened to anyone else. I am also in menopause now 7 yrs on no HRT's.

My Dr took me off Coreg CR and it took over a month for the dizzy feelings to nearly stop. That stuff is awful!!!

Was forced to take Coreg while in hospital for congestive heart failure. Because I have a G6PD deficiency, I had a hemolytic event in hospital. My liver turned red, my skin and eyeballs turned yellow, my stomach and back were in so much pain that they gave me morphine. But they did not stop the drug despite my liver damage. They told me that this is a cardiology unit. Shut up and that your medicine. This drug was taken in tandom with Atacand, which also causes liver damage. Both of these drugs also made me dizzy. This just happened in Seattle, WA, on Jan. 14-21. As soon as I could, I dumped both drugs on the advice of a liver specialist.

I started coreg 10 mg and was ok but doc wanted ef better so he increased to 20 mg. after about 3 months started getting dizzy. I had a tilt tabl test, eps test and ct scan. All were negative. There have been times where I had to pull the car over I was so dizzy and vision was blurry.am going back to him to switch meds.
