trying to identify this pill. Was told it was Codeine and Tylenol. Cant find information on this pill. ## Hello, Peggy! How are you? I'm sorry, but I haven't been able to find anything matching this description, so far. And the rather obscure imprint leads me to doubt it's any prescription medication, it's most likely an over the counter product of some type. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? ## That is acetaminophen cosine it's just a form of tylenol with codeine in it
what kind of pill is round and large with 30 above slash and cod/c below slash ## Hello, Micky! How are you? This is an effervescent tablet called Co-Codamol, it is listed as containing 30mgs of Codeine and 500mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
I found a pill that is round, brown/cream color & no imprint. Any ideas? ## With no imprint I can say that it is definitely NOT codeine manufactured in the US. Basically all drugs manufactured here are required to carry unique markings so that they can be easily identified. With that said, it could very well be an over the counter supplement, or perhaps even something from overseas. All in all I'd say to dispose of it. Safety first! Or if you want to spend a hefty amount of $$ you can pay a lab to analyze it, but I doubt that'd be worth your time. Hope this helps! Would you happen to know where this pill is from / how you came across it?
What is the closest over the countet medicine ## What is the closest over the counter medicine to tussi organdin ## Hello, Tobey! How are you? There is nothing available over the counter that is comparative, since one of the ingredients in this is Codeine, which the fad classifies as a narcotic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. It is only available by prescription. The Guaifenesin is available over the counter, but it likely won't work as well, without the Codeine. Is there anything else I can help with? ## My apologies! That should read FDA, not fad.
I'm 65, have 2 herniated (mildly) discs, l4 and l5S1-also, lumbo-sacral degenerative disc disease, disc bulge and hypertrophic arthropathy producing mild spinal stenosis at L3-4 and L5-S1. I have a minor disc protrusion at L4 L-5 w/ hyperthrophic change and mild foraminal stenosis. On L4-5 where I have a mild left central disc protrusion there is a partial annular fissure (tear). I'm reading from my MRI taken on Feb. 2014. It also states that there are hypertrophic facets and ligamentum flavum which are noted diffusely. There is also mild central canal and bilateral foraminal stenosis at L3-4. At L5-S1 where the disko-osteophytic bulge there is a hypperthropic arthropathy. Also, on L4-5 the bilateral foraminal stenosis is worse on the left. Okay. Now for my history - I was a wai...
UpdatedI was prescribed Tylenol 3 for pain. I went to a friend's house over the weekend and forgot my meds. I was in pain and my friend (was drinking, I was not) could not drive and I was in to much pain to drive myself. I took 2 Norco's to get me through the rest of the day until I could get home... low and behold I find myself subject to a random urinalysis 38 hours later. Would this be enough time for the Norco to clear my system (I stay well hydrated)? If not, would Norco metabolize and leave markers that a GC/MS would identify as being from both medications? ## Don't sweat it, they will show up the same on a standard 5 panel UA. just opiates. So bring your codeine script w you and you'll be fine. A couple narcotics isn't gonna stay in an active healthy person more than...

What pain medication has no codine in it ## Hello, Betty! How are you? There are many available that don't contain Codeine, just to give you some examples of opiate ones… Dilaudid, Opana, Oxycontin and Morphine are some. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Generally, if it doesn't say that it contains Codeine, then it doesn't, though it may be related to it. Is there anything else I can help with?
Meant to be 20mg of codeine phosphate but i've only ever seen white codeine pills that are quite small and not shiny. Looks a bit like a Smartie but a bit bigger! The red comes off when you wash it. ## I have the same and it's supposed to be adderrall 30mg. It's in a pack 10 pop outs. Plain red coated with two cross lines. You know, where you can cut it? But they are crossing each other like an X.

It really depends what other medications you're asking about, as well as your medical condition. Are there any specific ones that you want to ask about? Have you consulted your doctor? ## Hi Verwon. How are you. I was only really wondering about whether I could take Solpadiene (Paracetemol and Codeine) or just Paracetamol. I havent consulted my doctor yet as i am hoping it will be gone in a week or two and don't really want to have to pay 100s of euros just to see my doctor and get medication! Throat hurts when I breathe and open my mouth. I can barely brush my teeth without it hurting. ## Hello, Donquez! How are you? Has this medication been prescribed for you? Usually, it doesn't hit the throat area long enough for it to help with a sore throat, if that's what you're asking. It's actually used to treat cough and cold symptoms. The FDA classifies it as a narcotic couch suppressant. It carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and constipation.

Dear sir, I am a 31 year old man. I am taking corex syp 100 ml 4 to 6 file daily from last 3 years. Now I can't live without codeine. I just want to know if any type of problem can arise with me in future? I don't want to leave it, because I don't love my life, but I want to know which type of effect it can have on me. I'm working in such a top company in automobiles as a sales expert and I am doing a good job while I am taking 5, 6 bottles of 100 ml pack of corex syp.
UpdatedThe difference between cheap/inexpensive 10/325 mixing and the process of centrifuging determines the strength of a 10/325. To take 10 milligrams of codeine and 325 milligrams of acetaminophen and mix them together only produces acetaminophen and codeine. Centrifuging coaleses and bonds the ingradients together to make a much more robust and potent medication. So, the difference is coalescing rather than mixing. My experience is the Qualitest exhibit qualities consistent with centrifuging ## Hi Jim, Thanks for sharing this info on centrifuging. I would've never thought of this as a way to increase the efficacy of two or more substances. But it does make sense in that there would be less binders/fillers from taking 1 tablet with everything fused together, as opposed to multiple table...
