I am taking Naproxen, Lyrica and Naproxen. I was wondering what would happen if I can a couple of alcoholic drinks ## It would be best to refrain from imbibing, while taking prescription medications. However, if your doctor approves of your doing so, you should be aware that the FDA warns that it could potentiate the side effects, so you may experience more nausea, dizziness and drowsiness, than usual. Thus, please make sure that you will not be driving or operating any dangerous machinery. Is there anything else I can help with?

2a457344 does this white round pill contain codeine? ## Hello, Sharon! How are you? The tablet with the M2A 57344 marking is manufactured by Physican Partner and they list it as containing 500mgs of Acetaminophen, so it is a dosage that is available over the counter and does not contain Codeine, it is a generic or store brand of Extra Strength Tylenol. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and headache. Is there anything else I can help with?

IS IT SAFE TO INGEST APAP/CODEINE300-30MGTAB AFTER TEN YEARS ON THE SHELF? ## They don't get dangerous, after the expiration, but they do start to lose effectiveness, so being that old, it is highly doubtful that they will work very well for pain. If they were in an original factory sealed bottle, they are usually good for about 3 years or so and in a pharmacy bottle, they are only good for a year, after you purchase them, because that is when they are exposed to heat and light. Storage can also have an effect, if they have been kept somewhere warm and moist, then they will degrade much faster. Are there any other questions? ## APAP/CODEINE 120-12 Prescribed on 1-30-08 liquid, to help to sleep . Would this be any good? ## I found a prescription of mine of Acetaminophen 300mg/Codeine...

Is this codeine. My uncle gave me a couple. Says it's "like" perocet But I'm not easily convinced. Right now I'm suffering from a toothache and it's 11pm. I am about to take it regardless of whether I know that it's something for pain. Can you please verify that in the middle the small pill in the middle is codeine (?) And whether or not, I should take the whole 0397 pill (?) Or take the little pill in the middle or mix it with the little pill with 200mg of ibuprofen (?) Thanks a lot! ## This tablet is manufactured by Watson Laboratories and they list it as containing 50mgs of Diclofenac and 0.2mgs of Misoprostol, so it is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibl...

is it safe if you are pregnant? ## Hello, Lillie! How are you? No, one of the active ingredients in this medication is Codeine and it is not considered safe, when you are pregnant. If you require a pain reliever, it would be best to see your doctor to discover what's safe for you to take. The FDA classifies it as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and could also cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

Hi, I've been taking codeine phosphate, or co-proxamol, dihydrcodeine, etc. for 16 years for necrotic arthritis and lower spine damage/trapped nerves, etc. Two questions. What would be a sensible amount of oxycodone for a doctor to prescribe? Mine reckoned 2 x 5mg daily and they had no effect what so ever.. Second question, if I sleep more than 4 hours at any time, day or night, even if I take 2 x 30 mg dihydrocodeine as I fall asleep, I wake up hyper-ventilating. Could this be caused by my body having gotten used to compensating in my autonomous breathing reaction and now when codeine gets too low it speeds up too much? ## The breathing issue actually sounds like you may have sleep apnea, which the codeine could contribute to, but only your doctor can give you a definitive diagnosi...

Hi all, I have just been in some treatment in Serbia and I received some prescription pills but were not told about the content of all of them. I really hope you can help me even though I know it's difficult with foreign pills. 1) Plain black capsules with no inscription 2) Round white pills with the inscription T 100. The effect is calming and removes anxiety, making you feel sleepy and comfortable. (A bit like benzodiazepine or codeine.) I know it's probably hopeless but I had to ask! Thank you.

The little round pill sits on its side perfectly balanced. They are on both sides. The number 2120 is on the opposite side of where the beautiful V is located! Sorry first time they told me my message wasn't detailed enough. Thank you. ## LOL! No worries! How are you, Greg? Does the tablet also have a 3 on it? There's one manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals that is white, round and has 2120 V 3 and they list it as containing 30mgs of Codeine and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Does that match your tablet? If not, can you please double check the imprint and post back? Thank you! The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I was told that the company Allergan is making a codeine with promethazine cough syrup previously manufactured by actavis is this true? ## @Mike, According to Allergan's product page (linked below), they do make Promethazine HCL (6.25 mg) + Codeine Phosphate (10 mg) syrup listed under the "Actavis Rx Product Catalog" on page 27 here: allergan.com/Actavis/media/PDFDocuments/2013_US_Rx_Product_Catalog.pdf. Based on the information in that link I think you're right that the formula could've been acquired from Actavis. And for further verification, the syrup in question also carries the following National Drug Codes of 00472-1627-04 and 00472-1627-16. I hope this helps! ## Does sun pharmaceutical/caraco make prometh with codiene that is purple

Can I take Celebrex if allergic to codeine ? ## Hello, Ted! How are you? These medications are not related, they aren't even in the same drug class. However, if you are allergic to one medication, there is always a chance that you may discover you are allergic to more. Celebrex is classified by the FDA as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach irritation. Am I Able To Take Codeine #3, If I'm Allergic To Penicillin&Amox? And Am I Able To Take Naproxen ? ( Seperatly ) ## Yes. Codiene # 3 is Codeine 30 mg/Acetaminophen 325 mg and is used for pain relief. Naproxen is an nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It is used to reduce inflammation and lower fever. Penicillin and amoxicillin are antibotics and are used to treat infections. Being allergic to Penicillin and amoxicillin has nothing to do with Codiene # 3 and narpoxen. ## Codeine #3 IS NOT 30mg of codeine. That is actually called Tylenol #3 with codeine. Please be careful what you read on here! Codeine comes in 2.5, 5, 7 mg, etc. This reply was shocking to read,v and I hope that wasn't an actual doctor replying. ## I believe the person who said Codeine 3 meant Tylenol...

Hi, I was prescribed 180mg of codeine phosphate for on-going back pain, BUT I decided to give subutex a go, as advised by a friend. However since taking subutex for just 7 weeks @ 10mg I absolutely hate them. I'm depressed & my anxiety has got worse :( Could going back on codeine help with stopping the awful subutex? Also, the codeine did help my pain, subs don't! Any advice would be gratefully received... Thanks in advance ## Hello, Vixen3! How are you? No, you need to be in full withdrawal, before you can take the Codeine, again. The Subutex tends to take a stronger hold on your opiate receptors and prevents others from having any affect. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such...
