I have always used the same brand of clonazepam. However they changed what is in the medication. I've been gravely ill because my body can't take the change. Now I want to not take it any longer because it's making me ill. How can I detox slowly if I don't have a decent batch of clo that agrees with me? If anyone has any real information please let me know. I'm ill feeling every day if I take it it makes me ill and get withdrawal If I don't take it I get still getting withdrawal.

I gave each brand a day or two but I could tell immediately how it was affecting me. The Zydus brand made me sick for 4-5 hours. The Mylan was so bad I only took the one dose. The Aurobindo took about 3 hours before I could get up. Now I don't take any of them. I am just using my adderall for the depression. I wish I could find out on the Shire brand xr 30 mg which one of the two colors of beads in the capsule was the instant release ones. I would try and separate them because the original Manufacturer Shire definitely does its job. The problem is the long acting portion keeps me awake. I called Shire and they would not release that info to me. The three manufacturers of the instint release in my area are not good at all.

Hi Mr Milton. If your are in stage 4 cancer, and I'm sorry to hear that, and the doctors are giving you s*** about prescribing you pain meds, (which I've never heard of. And I worked in hospice and all the patients were as comfy as we could get them) but if NO doc will write you what you need, that maybe you should consider some alternatives. Start off slow, find exactly how much you need to get to your comfort zone, without killing yourself obviously, and the time you have left will be problem free I assure you. Just a thought. I wish you the very best of luck and will include you in my prayers tonight.

Hi JD, Hopefully your psy. can help you get off the medications with minimal withdrawal or at least find just one medication to help you with all your symptoms. I wish I had the answer for you. I understand what you are going through because I'm experiencing it myself. These medications have way too many side effects. I stopped taking the Teva brand of clonazepam couldn't take the side effects anymore. I'm now trying some from Qualitest. They don't work too good for my chronic pain but at least the side effects aren't as bad. You have been in my prayers and I'm glad that you are welcoming them. Btw I'm in N.Y.. God Bless. I have tried 3 brands and they are all making me sick for several hours after I take them. I am getting off them but withdrawal has some bad side effects also. I am in Louisiana, what state are you in? I am a Christian also so all the prayers I get are welcome.

Hi JD, I looked up adderall and paxil together, it says that there is a major interaction. Check with your doctor about that. God Bless

I started to get awful withdrawal after a few days on Sandoz too. In spite of the way I felt today, I went for a walk to my chapel to pray. I looked up American health (while in the chapel) and it appears that they are a packaging co. I was going to try to call them myself to see if I could find out some info for you. But you beat me to it. It was probably my prayers that enlightened you to call. Not sure if I am understanding you correctly. So I can't figure, the Zydus worked in the hospital but not the one from the drug store? Well, if I am understanding you correctly, Zydus is "one" of the Paxil. How many different brands of Paxil are you trying at the same time? Which is the most recent brand you have taken? Not sure if this is the answer, but maybe if you just only try the Zydus and not the other brands for a while, it will work for you. Well I hope so. Keep me updated. God Bless. I have just found out the weirdest thing. As I have been saying I have been so sick for about 4 hours after taking my Paxil. One brand being Zydus. I did not get sick at all with the one given to me in the hospital. So I called American Health whom my hospital said was the place that the one I received in the hospital came from. They told me the brand was Zydus. Now how do I figure that out with both coming from Zydus. One from a pharmacy and the other in the hospital. I ended up in the hospital because the Klonopin by Sandos the .5 mg yellow ones was not working and I thought I was having a heart attack when it was just a panic attack from withdrawal because of the medicine not working.

Hi JD, Omg it's a shame what you are going through. I'm not doing well on the teva clonazepam, it's giving me jaw pain and is making me very nervous. I only take 0.25 mgs a day for chronic pain. I also wrote down all the ingredients in the difference brands of clonazepam. The one that seems to be the closest to Sandoz is the Accord brand. Next time I go to the doctor I'm going to try them. I will keep you updated and in my prayers, along with others suffering from medications. Hopefully you will find the strength to get out of bed and try to take a walk or some other activity you can enjoy. God Bless you. Keep in touch.

I have researched to the point of writing down all the ingredients. But what good does it do when you can't get a certain brand in your area.

I have been through all the anti depressants and can't tolerate the side effects. The Paxil use to work in controlling the anxiety in a low dose but did not help the depression. That is the main reason I take the adderall. Now the adderall is a mess just like all the other generics. The 30mg in XL form by Shire works but I have chronic insomnia and it stays in my body to long. I plan on reporting to the FDA again about the Teva adderall. When I open the bottle that came from Walmart there is a strong chemical smell coming from it plus the pills have became powdry. The bottle from Walgreen's don't have this smell. It just works one day and not the next. It's another bad day and I will be laying in bed again. I wish I could have just tried the Sandoz brand but can't get it in my town. However if their quality has gone down like the Klonopin it may not be any use.

#Sarah#. The bottom line is so many medications including most opiates in a few benzos have changed their formulation due to Diversion. So you're just going to have to suck it up like I had to do with Oxycontin and they really ruined by stomach or I would just pooped out the whole pill. I'm a stage 4 cancer patient and it's hard to get straight 30 mg instant release oxycodone that formula hasn't been changed like Oxycontin ER. But you're wrong all clonazepam hasn't been changed in the United States as far as the formula just do some research and you'll find the correct ones. I have lots of answers I used to be a pharmacist before I got my cancer back 12 years a go. So I know all about it and unfortunately it's just the United States that has the diversion 4 abuse mostly for obvious reasons it's the war on prescription drugs like opiates and benzos and drugs alike. So that's the exact answer to your question no gray area in there I give you the answer I hope it helps.

Hi JD, I'm sorry to hear that you're still having problems with the paxil.The same thing happened to me,the clo they gave me in the hospital was good, but I am not able to get the hospital brand in the drug stores. I'm also not a candidate for detox. Check with your psy. there are many antidepressant out there. Maybe the paxil isn't the best for you. The problem is we never know which one is the best until we try it. Wish that I had a better solution for you. Said an extra prayer for both of you. Take it easy, long walks and keeping busy helps. Good morning JD, I'm so sorry to hear that paxil isn't working well for you. I had the same problem the clonazepam that they gave me in the hospital, which worked well, is not available for sale either. And I don't fit the criteria for detox either. I believe paxil is an antidepressant. Maybe your psy. can change you to a different one. The problem is we don't know how well the medication is going to work until we actually try it. Said an extra pray for you. Hoping that you are able to find the right medication soon. Which that I could have a better answer for you. God bless.

I found a pack of the 1 mg bue sandoz and they worked OK. But I was denied medical detox because they said I did not meet criteria. In the mean time my psy Dr. gave me Xanax 1mg 4 times a day. I don't know if its my adderall or my .5 mg of paxil but I am only having to take 1 and a half a day. There was definitely something wrong with the batch of yellow sandoz klonopin. But my problems are not all gone because I have 3 generic brands of Paxil and they all make me sick for about 3 hours. The paxil I was given in the hospital was totally different. The bad ones are aurobinda, mylan and zydus. I called the hospital and was advised theirs was American Health but I can't get those.

By the way Chrissy I brought the full bottle of the Sandoz clonazepam with me to the emergency room. They gave me a decent clonazepam in the emergency room. I asked the nice doctor to send a prescription to the drug store to try the Teva brand and she said you have a full bottle with you, so I told her, here take the full bottle and the activan too thy are no good and she agreed and sent over a script for 7 days for me. I wish the media would get a hold of this information and help us. It's bad enough we have ailments and on top of that have to add to them because of these pharmaceuticals companies. Take care.

Hi JD, the brand I was referring to is Sandoz and the same thing happened to me. I finally got someone else who is having the same problem with them. I complained to Sandoz and they sent me a letter denying it. But you and I know that there is something drastically wrong with it. Please let them and the FDA know. I also advise the FDA to no avail. If enough people complain just maybe something can be done about this abuse. God bless and will pray for your success in detox. And Hi Chrissy my doctor has really tried to help me. He was writing the script for weekly just in case they weren't any good. I tried four or five drug stores and all were horrible Sandoz clonazepam. The doctor tried giving me valium but I felt like a complete zombie on it. Stop taking it right away. Ended up in the emergency room in tears. They gave me activan and after 3 days of completely sleeping I ended up back in the emergency room. Right now I am trying to adjust to the Teva brand. Getting side effects but at least they aren't toxic like the Sandoz brand it's a yellow pill E 63. Looks exactly alike but what ever is in them is toxic. Thank you for responding. You have both been a big help. Let's trust that God will help us get through this.

The same thing is happening to me. Luckily I still had some of the teva left over from previous batches so I'm able to wean down with them. Can I ask you what the pills you got look like? Just curious if they are the same ones I received. Talk to the dr and tell him your problem, bring your script with you so he can see you're not taking too many. He may write you another rx to fill at a different pharmacy that has a different brand or he may give you zanax or something similar in its place. Not sure but definitely talk to your dr. It is dangerous to come off benzos without being under a Dr's care. Good luck and god bless.

I have been on the Sandoz brand and something changed. Within 10 minutes of taking the tablet my body would completely engulf in heat and sweat. It also felt like needles were sticking in my whole body. I happened to find a few tablets from another manufacturer from 2012 just to see if the same thing would happen. It didn't. But my psychiatrist which me over to Xanax plus I started Paxil which helped a lot. I plan to go into medical detox to get Benzodiazapines completely out of my system. I also developed Burning Mouth Syndrome and since I have stopped the Sandoz brand it seems to be getting a little better each day.
