I have always used the same brand of clonazepam. However they changed what is in the medication. I've been gravely ill because my body can't take the change. Now I want to not take it any longer because it's making me ill. How can I detox slowly if I don't have a decent batch of clo that agrees with me? If anyone has any real information please let me know. I'm ill feeling every day if I take it it makes me ill and get withdrawal If I don't take it I get still getting withdrawal.

I would suggest genetic testing if possible. I found out that a few of the medications I was taking were not right for me. I would get really sick from Xanax and a few others. I cannot take SSRI meds which I already knew from experience, but it was also confirmed on my genetic testing. Doctors give meds out like they are pez candies. We are not all the same, and genetically as well. I also found through testing that I was almost completely B deficient because my body can't metabolize folate, which has a lot to do with mental health. Doing a lot better with the right supplements and the use of tincture based THC. (Medical marijuana). No side effects.

Sarah, I have the entire ingredients. Don't worry yourself with looking up side effects. I printed most of them and am going to drop by my allergist after leaving my Botox doctor. God bless for your help.

Hi Jacqueline, I hope that you are feeling better today. I'm glad that you went into town and was able to control your anxiety. Please be so careful with meds that are affecting your eyesight. I have been waiting for your mgs to be posted before sending a reply. Re: the NDC numbers you sent, if you go to the msg where you posted them, if you tap on the highlighted numbers you can get the ingredients that you're looking for. This web site is good because they set it up for you to get the info on the ingredients. It's a great idea to check with the pharmacist, he should be able to tell you if there are any interactions between the meds that you take and the side effects. I'm not sure if I'm coming down with a cold or a stomach virus or something, but I went out today to the drug store, grocery and to the chapel. It felt good to get fresh air, I was in bed most of the day yesterday. Hope that your husband will be better soon. God Bless you and your family.

Sarah are you OK. I was in town a while ago and I felt the anxiety, my head started hurting and I could tell a panic attack was happening. I had the old Sandoz yellow and put it under my tongue. Believe it or not in about 10 min I felt my whole body relaxing and anxiety went away. I had taken a Xanax at 3:30 and again I started itching and arms broke out in a rash. God Bless.

Jacqueline, I'm so happy to hear from you, I was worried that you were in the hospital or at your chiropractor because in the last msg I received from you, that I only read this morning, you said that you had severe pain in your spine and that the medicines weren't working. I'll try to do my best to help you find the ingredients that you're looking for. But if you go back to msg number fifty two that also has a good way to look up ingredients. What do you think is causing the burning, could it be from withdrawal because you said that the meds weren't working? I'll keep checking for your msg. This web site sets things up so that we are able to look up the info that we need. They were the one's that set up msg number fifty two for me and it's been helpful. God Bless you. Hope that you feel better soon.

Sarah,

1. NDC code 59762-3721-04. Alprazolam imprint g 3721.
2. NDC code 00603-4979-28. Pill imprint 4827 Percocet 7.5 Qualitest
3. NDC 63304-0622-10. Atenolol pill imprint gg263 heart med

I don't have the NDC right now for Adderall because it was just 3 old pills from last year. I can get it. Something in those four pills caused an allergic reaction. Beside burning my eyes and mouth my teeth and gums on the left side of my mouth started hurting bad. In the Xanax along it shows about 70 ingredients. I may call the rexall pharmacist and pay him to look at what I am taking and see if he can find what combination is burning my mouth and eyes. He is a compounding pharmacist. I don't want you to bother with any of this while your feeling bad. Another thing I did was eat oatmeal this morning and the allergist had told me no. I am allergic to that plus flour & gluten. I am not suppose to even eat a slice of bread.. Take care and hope you feel better soon.

Hi Sarah, I am feeling somewhat better this morning. I think if you would explain to your doctor that another person in my state ended up in the hospital thinking it was a heart problem when in fact it was extreme excitability from withdrawals from the .5 Sandoz Klonopin generic he would give you the 1mg which seem to be OK and either increase you to that amount or you could split it with a little pill cutter. The Teva 1mg I have doesn't seem to be very strong and takes forever to kick in. They have a long acting Xanax but if I am able to take only 2 per day of the regular I had rather that. I could not get by with 2 without the Adderall and my pain tablet. When I start hurting my heart goes crazy causing the blood pressure to shoot up. The beta blocker also calm anxiety. I was horrible with muscle spasms and pain yesterday. I don't know what went wrong with the doctor burning the nerves in the right side of my neck but it's constant pain and muscle spasms. I go Wednesday for another round of Botox in my head. I am going to call and see if he can inj. the base of my skull with steroid because it's inflamed besides the Fibromyalgia has kicked in bad. I have got to get to the bottom of these inactive ingredients in these meds. I woke at 4:00 and took one of the Xanax and within a few minutes my tounge was on fire and I was itching all over. The reason I am getting some sleep is because of the elavil, zanaflex and Sonata.. The Sonata only stays active just 2 - 4 hours and by that time the elavil has started. My arms are getting bad again with the purple blotches and bleeding. I took pictures of my arm before and I was taking Trazodone. That drug is weird because it's suppose to knock you out but if I take the amount he wants me to I am wide awake and anxious. I don't have my bottle in front of me but I think my Xanax is by greenstone. I was on my desktop and I came across a site for my heart med and it list 25 inactive ingredients in Atenolol four of them are those Povidone types. I don't have any doctor that is checking these interactions with the inactive ingredients. Plus every brand is different. I am sorry I kept you so long especially when your feeling bad. My husband goes for a MRI Wednesday. He is in so much pain but it may be his arteries blocked again, he can't walk but a short distance. He has already had 2 open heart surgeries plus three stents in other parts. He is also battling diabetes. I have to just keep myself well enough to help him. That's one of the problems he gets so short tempered with me. He is not one to take pain pills. However if I live long enough I am going to get that Detox just to see if I can survive without Benzodiazapines. Thanks so much for your prayers and concern.

Dear Jacqueline, Sorry I needed to have my breakfast, I feel like I'm coming down with a cold. It's so sad what you are going through. I was so busy looking up the medicines that you took to get some sleep, that I missed the part where you wrote about Trazodone causing you severe headaches. I think it was the Zanaflex that helped you get some sleep, because muscle relaxers always make you really sleepy. Crying is fine, we all need to cry angel it helps release all the stress that builds up and you don't need to apologize for letting me know how you are feeling. I'm here to listen and I understand. I only which that I had the answers for you. It's these lousy, putting it lightly, pharmaceuticals companies making cheap medicines. O Lord, please graciously hear and answer our prayers.

Zaborav, Thank you, I really appreciate you taking the time to explain and trying to help Jacqueline and me. However, the problem is that it would cost me $240 to get the brand name Klonopin when it cost me zero dollars for the generic. Big difference in price and the drug stores will not order it for me unless I get a large quantity. Also from what I have read the Teva brand is the closest one to the brand name Klonopin and Teva brand is the one that gave me the horrible jaw, gum and teeth pain etc and didn't work well for me at all. If I am unable to find a generic clonazepam, I will certainly take your advice. I'm still in the process of evaluating other generic brands for now. I'm trying also to change over to barbiturates which worked well for me many years ago, but with not to good results so far. It's a real shame that Sandoz drastically changed how they use to make it. It has always been the perfect medicine for me. It's worked well for me for years, with no side effects; and then they have the nerve to deny that they changed it. Thanks again and God Bless for caring.

JD, Sandoz do not hold any patent to use the name 'Klonopin', which is the US Roche brandname for Rivotril, and not permitted to be used by any other country. In general, I find Sandoz benzodiazepines to be of pretty poor quality anyway. You refer to Sandoz clonazepam 2mg tablets. The worst alprazolam I ever had was US-made Sandoz alprazolam 2mg embossed 'GG249', yet I believe it is the most-dispensed alprazolam in that country. It simply would not be acceptable to European consumers.

Teva USA tend to make much better meds than teva UK, whose diazepam is dire. But as I noted earlier in the thread, I must now spend money I haven't really got on real Roche Rivotril, as they withdrew the brand from the UK due to lack of sales, the policy here now being to dispense only the cheapest generic. Which in the case of clonazepam, which I have been on for years and years for epilepsy and panic disorder, means auden mcKenzie, whose excipients inhibit bioavailability and thus the tablets do not work for me as they should. Galenika and Abbott india Rivortil (both Roche licenced) are also acceptable, being practically identical to Roche's brand. 'Bananatrils' (Torrent CLONOTRIL-2) is a water dispersible tablet which has an extremely rapid onset of action compared with regular tablets and a distinct banana taste; a bit cheaper than brand but I like to have some of each in stock. My prescription goes to people in need who have either run out or can not get the dosage required. So everyone is happy.

Galenika of Serbia's Rivotril is actually BETTER than those made by Roche themselves! As I said before, Sarah my dear, the way to go is to ask your doc to prescribe by BRAND and not simply by drug, and then the pharmacy MUST dispense the 'Klonopin' brand, as it is known there - quite why such a well known brand should have a different name just in that one country is a mystery when the entire world knows the tablets as RIVOTRIL. 'Klonopin' means nothing to the vast majority of people.

So demand that you be prescribed by BRAND and you should have no problem. And might I add that the only generic alorazolam from the US which is anywhere even close to European standards is that made by Greenstone. The only one that I can not comment upon is the strangely biscored 'S903' green tabket by Dava, which I have never had, but have seen some reviews saying they are not bad. That, however, means very little in a country where alorazolam is of such poor general quality - which I do not understand, there being so many generics available. Why only the Greenstone should feel anything like branded Xanax/Xanor by Pfizer/Upjohn is a very strange state of affairs. Eastern Europe certainly has the best alps available, and in the western hemisphere, Argentina is the place to go, Gador ALPLAX being a superb brand which I take from time to time.

BRAND NAME, SARAH. THAT IS THE ONLY WAY YOU WILL BE ASSURED OF GETTING THE QUALITY YOU NEED.
