4 REPLIES Updatedsmall round white ## What’s a small round pill marked 485 on one side blank on other ## Hello, I wasn't able to find anything that exactly matches your description but I was able to find a Claritin 10mg pill that has a 458 imprint but from the description the NIH gives it should also have the word Claritin on it somewhere. Is it possible that the pill is worn and that the word Claritin is somewhere on the opposite side? Here is a picture of what the Claritin pill looks like, it's so light and the imprint is already hard to read as is that's why I'm asking. Is this the pill that you are referring to?
2 REPLIES UpdatedCan a lab tell the difference between clartin d and methamphetamine? How can a lab test tell the difference? Would it not show up as as the same thing? ## Can Claritin d cause a false positive for amphetimes in a drug test ## YES!! When they test methamphetamine shows up as 2 different chemicals. My husband failed his and he tried to tell the Dr that it was Claritin D and they explained to him that it was not possible and showed him why .
2 REPLIES Updatedblank with score on one side, other side has W on top & 823 beneath. ## I’m trying to identify the pill you described perfectly. It’s either Claritin or prednisone 10mg. Sometimes my meds have totally different sizes and shapes and I’ve lost the label on these. Sometimes I put my meds for two or four days together if I’m staying away from home. I’m at end stage lung disease and take quite a few pills to say the least. I haven’t been able to find this one like the usual searches I ve done before thank you for any help you can tell me
1 REPLY UpdatedWhat are the active ingredients in Trinalin? Trinalin was discontinued and I have not found a substitute medication that works as good as Trinalin did. Where can I obtain prescription? I have tried Claritin, Allegra, Singulair and Zirtec but not one works a good as trinalin did. Help! ## I have not found a med.that works as well with my system as trinalin 703. The other med.make me shake, please let me know what would have the same ingredients. ## Dystonic reactions are normal, and frequently occur with this medication, it is no longer approved for marketing in the U.S. under current FDA standards. Thus, I am not sure what would be equivalent, there is nothing that has the same ingredients. Keith, what other medications have you tried?
2 REPLIES UpdatedMy daughter is 16 and 125 pounds and having a horrible time with allergies and had terrible headache! Is it safe for her to take 2 Claritin10 at once? Was wondering if higher dosage would help or hurt? ## Hello, Marie! How is she doing? Actually, rather than doubling up, you should take her to her doctor. They may be able to prescribe something that would work better for her than the Claritin. The headache could also signify that she's developed a sinus infection, which could require an antibiotic. The FDA lists the typical side effects of antibiotics as possibly include nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, headache and non=allergic skin rash. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Capsule turmeric and black pepper. TAke morning and night. Allergies gone. Don't believe me? Try it. I...
2 REPLIES UpdatedWas told I can't purchase any more this month. I have only bought it 1 time this year, on May 7th. Now over 2 weeks later they say no more this month. Where else is it available? ## Hello, Gost! How are you? I'm sorry, but if you've reached your purchase limit, then no store will be able to sell it to you. Purchases of these products are logged in a database, which is why you have to sign for them and show ID. You will have to wait until the month is up, before you can purchase a new supply. Claritin D contains Loratadine and Pseudoephedrine, the latter of which is commonly abused and often adulterated to manufactured illicit substances. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia and nervousness. Is t...
1 REPLY UpdatedI wanted to find out if this has Sudafed in it and if it has to have a prescription to get it? ## Hi famous, How are you? To answer your question, Claritin (also known as Loratadine) does not contain any Sudafed (Pseudoephedrine) in and of itself. However, it is "available in combination" with that specific medication as well as others. It will also require a prescription from your doctor here in the US, but I'm not aware of the laws in other countries. I hope this helps!
1 REPLY Updatedi'm taking clarittin 24 hour and tested positive for meth on a drug screen. I don't use meth., so I'm wondering if the claritin I took could account for the reading. ## I'm not finding the Loratidine in Clartin listed as causing a false positive for Methamphetamine, though some of the antihistamines can cause a false positive for Methadone. Have you taken anything else? ## What medications can give you a false positive reading to meth in a drug urine test?
2 REPLIES UpdatedI just failed a drug test, I tested positive for both amphetamine & methamphetamine. I have had a prescription for adderol 20 mlgrm but have not taken them or had a refill in about 3 weeks before test. So was just wondering if adderol stays in system that long or if it was the claritin d? Im 110lbs, 39 yr old female
UpdatedI found a little oval white pill with the markings L412 on it ## I can't find this one listed anywhere, however, I can tell you that pills marked with an L followed by 3 additional numbers are over the counter products. They are sold in many different countries as the generics or store brands. That would also explain why this isn't listed anywhere, OTC products are not required to have their imprints on file with the FDA. Does anyone know what this tablet is? ## This is generic claritin ## It is a generic pill. It is loratadine, its for allergies. Generic for claratin I believe.
3 REPLIES UpdatedAny idea what this is? No numbers on the pill. Letters are lower case. ## Help! Small, white pill about a half inch in diameter, scored in half on one side, small "df" on the other. Someone told me it was a claritin generic, but I don't believe it. ## Anyone ever come across. A small white round pill with a lower case d above and to the left of a lower case p ,the other side has a 5 with a dash above below on the left and right. I can not for the life of me figure out what this is?
2 REPLIES Updatedsmall dark blue jell cap with white letters C-10 on one side oval shaped. ## Hello, I have identified Pill imprint C-10 as Claritin (loratadine) (10 mg); which belongs to the drug class antihistamines and is used in the treatment of hay fever and urticaria. Manufacturer: Schering-Plough You can learn more about this drug on the page for Claritin Details I hope this helps!
1 REPLY UpdatedA white large oval pill imprinted with Andrx 605. Found in my medicine cabinet and want to identify what it is for. ## 24 Hour Allergy Pill. Like claritin or allegra. Works better than allegra for me though! ## To add some specific details, the tablet in question contains 10mgs of Lortadine and 240mgs of Pseudoephedrine, it is used to treat allergy symptoms. As of now, since it contains the Pseudoephedrine, it is only available by requesting it at the pharmacy counter, where you have to sign for it and show ID to prove you are over 18. This was enacted several years ago, to help curtail abuse and methamphetamine manufacturing. Are there any questions or comments? There are more Loratidine details available here and there are more Pseudoephedrine details available here.
2 REPLIES UpdatedMy allergies where terrible today. Really just a seasonal flare up. I took 2 tablets in hopes to be rid of my flare up or to at least have some relief. 3 hours later....my nose is RAW, I can barely open my eyes because of all the watering. My lips are chapped because of all the breathing through my mouth. ## Claritin contains the active ingredient Loratadine, which is an antihistamine, but just like any other drug, it doesn't work for everyone that takes it, which is why there are others on the market. Learn more Loratadine details here. Just as an example, I have tried it, but only found it to help with respiratory symptoms. However, I also get hives sometimes and found Allegra/Fexofenadine to help with both. Learn more Allegra details here. Has your doctor recommended anything for...
1 REPLY UpdatedAfter a few days of taking it, I developed a severe case of rash and had to receive Benadry by injection and afterwards Claritin for a few days. I took 2 of the pills to an allergist, had several prick tests done, and found that I was allergic to something in the product. How can that be if it's only a combination of vitamins? ## What specific item did the allergist say you were allergic to? When something is in tablet form, to hold the shape, it usually contains inactive ingredients, as well as the active products, so it's always possible to have a reaction to one of them. ## The doctor did not test all the ingredients individually, just tested the whole product and told me that I should avoid it because there was "something" in it that I was allergic to. He said that i...
2 REPLIES UpdatedBlue Gel Capsule with c-10 imprinted in white. ## Unfortunately, I can't find any listings for this in any of the databases. I see posts where a few other people have asked about it, as well, but as of this time, there has been no identification of it. Where was it found/obtained? Does anyone else recognize this tablet? ## Someone with dementia was taking it and they don't know where she got it. She said she threw the box away. ## the blue gel cap with a white c-10 imprint ( the C is larger than the 10) is a C l a r it i n Li q u i Gels® 10 mg. Sorry about the typing, it's the only way this page would accept it!! ## Claritin liquid gel

1 REPLY Updatedwhite with RX724 ## Can you tell me what this pill is? It is white, oblong with RX724 printed in black on one side. I have several of them and think it might be Claritin or something similar. Thanks. ## RX724 is generic Claritin-D 24 hr. Purchased at Dominick's (Safeway) in Chicago ## This is actually a generic or store brand of Sudafed, not Claritin. ## This tablet contains 240mg of Pseudoephedrine sulfate (stimulant) and 10mg of Loratadine (non-drowsy antihistamine). This tablet was designed/manufactured for oral route only. It should not be crushed, snorted, or injected. The tablet will last 24 hours and will dissolve thorughout the instestines (G.I tract) as it goes along, and as time goes by. Note that Pseudoephedrine is being controlled laltely because is it a precursor chemic...
