I'm using biotech ciprofloxacin 500mg I got them last week on Thursday from the clinic. They say I must take 1 tablet twice a day. They checked my urine and gave me these tablets. I don't know why but since I started using them I drink a lot of water and pee a lot so I don't know whether they're still doing their job or if they are having a negative effect on me. So I was put on ciprofloxacin 2 times a day and am currently taking 10/325 percocets. I read somewhere that it is a major interaction between the two. Is there anyway maybe I can take them hrs apart? ## The only interaction I've been able to find is that Ciprofloxacin can increase the effectiveness of the Oxycodone. This doesn't mean they can't be taken together, just that your doctor should carefully consider your dosage and they should be monitoring you regularly to keep an eye on you, in case any problems arise. Ive been taking (ciprofloxacin hcl 500mg) since the 5th, August 2013. if I cut ciprofloxacin 500 in half will it be the same as taking a 250 mg pill because 500 is too strong for me and I am ok with the lower dose. ## You should take the dosage prescribed by your doctor. Oral Cipro has risk of tendon rupture. Do Cipro ear drops have that same risk? I have just been prescribed Cipro ear drops for an ear infection. ## Hello, Monica! How are you? I found a pill that has p 500 on one side and blank on the other. It's oblong. I cannot find out what it is.
