You should follow the dosing instructions that you were provided with your prescription.
Teva Pharmaceuticals lists this tablet as containing 500mgs of Ciprofloxacin. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
However, it is normally taken twice daily, one tablet every 12 hours.
