Cipro Ear Drops
UpdatedOral Cipro has risk of tendon rupture.
Do Cipro ear drops have that same risk?
I have just been prescribed Cipro ear drops for an ear infection.

Hello, Monica! How are you?
Yes, it does carry the risk of causing the same side effects, according to the FDA, which may also include nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
However, experiencing these side effects from the ear drops is far more rare, since very little is absorbed systemically.
Is there anything else I can help with?
