Ciclobenzaprina 10mg Tablets

What class of drug is a Ciclobenzaprina 10mg tab? Are they similar to a soma? Because I prefer somas. What if there's no imprint on the tablet? The prescription was purchased in Mexico and I'm wondering if that's why there's no imprints or if they could be fake pills?

Hello Megz,

Cyclobenzaprine is a prescription only drug used as a muscle relaxer often sold under the brand name Flexeril. It is often used to treat skeletal muscle spasms and fibromyalgia.

Mexico medication does not have to follow FDA regulations such as having imprints. Because they do not follow FDA regulations it is not possible to identify the manufacturer or ensure the contents of your medication. Consume them at your own risk.

I will list some information on an American brand Ciclobenzaprine (10mg) tablet for informational purposes but please keep in mind that your medication may be different as it is not FDA regulated.

Active Ingredients:

Cyclobenzaprine Hydrochloride (10 mg)

Inactive Ingredients:

- Silicon Dioxide
- Croscarmellose Sodium
- Calcium Phosphate, Dibasic, Dihydrate
- Hydroxypropyl Cellulose (Type H)
- Polyethylene Glycol 400
- Magnesium Stearate
- Cellulose, Microcrystalline
- Titanium Dioxide
- Hypromelloses

Common Side Effects:

- Drowsiness
- Dry Mouth
- Fatigue
- Headache
