I have been prescribed Aztor F(10/145) by my cardiologist alongwith other medicines like Deplatt 75 mg(OD); ecosprin 150 mg(OD), corbis 2.5 mg(OD); Ramistar 5 mg OD; glyciphase 500 mg BD, pantocid 40 mg. I have not been able to find detailed information about Aztor F(10/145) either on the net or on discussion forum. The medicine is also not commonly available with chemists. Ever since i have been taking rodeday f 10 at night i have severe itching for about 3/4 hours. Can't find any good reason why I should not stop taking Ezetimibe 10 mg. I have arthritis also and the pain has increased with this med. Any suggestions? ## I have a constantly runny nose. Not a seasonal effect. Also zetia adds to the fatigue I get from osteoarthritis and increases the aches. I have been taking the atorva 20 mg for the past 20 months, but the price is very high. Please advise me a low price alternative that's similar. ## I'm not sure where you are located to know what else is available for you to use. However, Atorva contains the active ingredient Atorvastatin, it used to help lower cholesterol, so you could try asking your pharmacist/chemist if there is a generic available. There are also several other Statin class medications on the market, so you could speak to your doctor and see if there is one that is available as a generic that you could use instead of the Atorva. Assuming the recommended dosage of Sandoz chlolestyramine powder is once a day, when is the best time to take it? At bedtime? An hour after breakfast? An hour after an evening dinner meal? It is my understanding the powder should not be taken too soon after a meal and/or before a meal. ## From what I've found, it's just said that it should be taken before meals, but it doesn't list any one in particular for this dosing, such as before breakfast or dinner. I have a small round pink pill with H on one side and 30 on the other side. What medication is this? ## 10mg rosuvastatin generic for Crestor. I thought it was a H but it's actually an I on one side. Is atorvastatin a blood thinner? ## No it is not a blood thinner, it is used solely to help lower cholesterol levels, although some recent studies have shown that elevated cholesterol levels are not as dangerous as we think, but many disagree, thus the jury is still out on that, so to speak. I have occasional left side lower abdominal pain which continues to scrotum and left leg. Doctor precribed cyclopam and normaxin. I have the history of stone earlier and cured by taking some medicine. My SGPT (ALT) is 52.4. Uric acid 7.3m/dl. Total Cholesterol 237.1mg/dl. Taking udiliv 150mg and febutaz 40mg. Is it true that Aspavor causes Tendonitis in a small percentage of users ## I started taking Aspavor a couple of weeks ago as despite cutting animal fats out of my (pretty healthy) diet my cholesterol was very high. The side-effects are impacting my quality of life severely - I have gone from being fit and active to semi-crippled by terrible pains in my legs and hips (and cramping at night) plus lower back pain and tender undersides of my feet, especially when I walk. I have been using fenofibrate for about 4 months. About that same time I started having sharp pain in my left hip area. I thought it might be a hip problem but it seems to be more like a muscle in the top of my buttocks to my very lower back. At times it seems to be more pronounced in the front side like my upper groin area. Sometime the pain lessens some if I am doing more physical activities during the day like mowing the lawn and working around the garden. I have also just in the last couple of days been having severe soreness in my right shoulder deltoid area. I just saw that the fenofibrate can cause some muscle aches. are there any negative effects of wechol ## is there sideafects with welchol 3.75g i am taking nexium xanax and cozar ## I take 6 Welchol daily and have terrible belching and fullness in the stomach. I also take zetia and diltiaz and metoprolol for high cholesterol. Total chol count is 221,HDL38,LDL121 and Tri 211. Had triple bypass in 2008. I am allergic to all statin drugs. Is there anything else to take in place of Welchol? ## All medications carry the risk of causing side effects. I read that pomegranate juice is very good for atheroschlerosis. I also take Zetia and don't know if they can be taken together. I have read that Zetia does interact with Statins much like grapefruit juice. Does anytone know if it interacts with Pomegranate juice? ## I haven't been able to find any information stating that pomegranate juice interacts with any medications, but it is always best to double check, your doctor, or pharmacist may have more recent information than I am privy to, at this time.
