Two weeks after starting Tricor, I started developing muscle stiffness that within two more weeks was so severe, I was only sleeping a couple hours a night because the pain kept me up. I went to the Dr and she said keep taking the tricor -she prescribed muscle relaxers and an NSAID pain med. They said maybe it was bad posture, and caused by working at a computer. They also suggested physical therapy. Neither helped. Two days later I went to a Chiropractor, with no relief. The next week I was calling her office again, after waiting in pain a couple days, she prescribed another kind of muscle relaxer and NSAID for pain, and again said to go to physical therapy. I had a CT scan of my head on 8/31/17 and the report indicates: Circle of Willis shows no aneurysm or vascular malformation. I'd like to hear feedback from others using Crestor and what luck they have had with it. ## Crestor is working well as per my last 6 months of medication. For the past six months, I've taken cholestyramine~ 4 scoops a day. I've discovered that (silk brand) coconut milk interacts with cholestyramine and makes it frothy! And it masks that factory taste! I stopped lipitor on orders from a specialist... and now have a very itchy rash. It does warn that some of the side effects of lipitor are different types of rashes that will occur throughout the cycle of using the drug. Some of these rashes will go away on their own but some are actual quite dangerous and should be looked at.
