The following is info that comes from a lot of online research and past experiences. I hope it will help. Credential: B.S In Business: There are probably more fake "school busses" produced by Cartels/Domestic dealers than the drug companies in the U.S alone. There are so many fake "yellow ladders" or "yellow school busses" all over the U.S with the R039 printed on them. Im in California but I have been reading A lot about fake bars all over the U.S (all having the same inconsistencies as the ones here in the Sacramento Valley). The easiest way to tell is to simply look at the R. You will notice the the R looks nothing like the real one. The fake ones have an R that looks similar to the one i'm using to type ...
As a child my mother used to give me 10 drops to control stomach upsets. Now as an adult I take it for uncontrolled diarrhea due to surviving colorrhectal cancer and stool incontinence. I cannot find it anywhere. I used to buy it in Florida and a pharmacy in Canada does not supply it. Please help. ## I am prescribed Tincture of Opium and you definitely can't walk in with a script and leave with your Meds. But any legit Drugstore can order it, I had a little trouble at first because it took 5-6 days to come in but once I notified the pharmacist I was going to need it filled monthly, he ordered it every month so it was there when I needed it. Good Luck P.S Some drugstores don't want all the work for 1 customer and will lie and say they never even heard of it and cannot order it ( ...
Hi, I’m Herb... My question is, why is addiction considered a disease & not a choice?! I can & have quit addiction but I don’t know anybody that has “quit” cancer, heart disease or diabetes... I’m convinced that addiction is a choice, not a disease! ## Hello Herb! How are you? It is often considered a disease, since some people can inherit a genetic propensity for addiction, just like cancer, heart disease, or diabetes, according to NIH studies. If their parents, grandparents, or others in their lineage were addicts, it could make them more prone to becoming addicted to any given substance, such as drugs, or alcohol. That does not apply to everyone that experiences an addiction, of course, but it has been found to apply in the prevalence of cases. T...
I have been infused with Reclast 6 times, with a holiday in between. I cannot find info as to the limit in using this drug. The last 2 times I developed muscle pain and fatigue. Feeling of general unwellness. Lasted 2 weeks the last time. The first 4x I had no symptoms. ## There really isn't a limit, so to speak, it depends on what condition is being treated, and your response to the treatment. Muscle pain, fatigue, nausea, headache, dizziness, and joint pain can be normal side effects of Reclast. Are you still having symptoms? How far apart were your infusions? Does your doctor plan to do more?
My elderly friend started taking Lenvatinib for his thyroid cancer. He had an operation about 6 years ago which got most of it from around his vocal cords and was cancer free until recently. He is losing some weight now since there are days where he has no appetite. He is drinking milk smoothies lately and it seems to work...he has an appetite for other things. ?? I thought I would poke around to see what people are saying about related issues. ## Unfortunately, most chemotherapy medications can cause loss of appetite, and weight loss, and it is a very well known side effect of Lenvatinib, along with constipation, fatigue, high blood pressure, and nausea. What else does he have an appetite for? Sometimes, when it comes to people undergoing cancer treatment, it is more imperative that th...
Has anyone had experience or positive results with this drug? My Mom has been treated every three weeks for the past 4 months. There has been some improvement, but her face has some painful lumps that have not gone away. A large lymph node lump as well. Any of your shared experiences or positive results would be appreciated. Very worried.
Updated in LibtayoMy husband has been prescribed Efudex for 10 days (morning and evening on his scalp). Also, Dovonex twice daily and pop-Desonide twice daily (as needed). Which cream does he put on first, second...? Thank you.
Updated in EfudexI have done Forteo, Prolia and now my doctor wants me to do Reclasp. I am 75 years old, haven't had any fractures I am aware of. Forteo caused more pain than usual, Prolia caused hair loss and the texture of my hair changed. The hair loss I mean bald spots. I have put off the Reclasp my doctor is wanting me to do, more poison going into my body and I don't feel any better. At my age, I have enough aches and pain without medication making me feel worse. ANYONE have anything positive to say about this drug. ## Unfortunately, I haven't read any posts from anyone that's had good experiences with Reclast, or most of the other medications that you've listed. They are all known to cause side effects, such as nausea, diarrhea, joint aches, bone pain, and elevated calcium lev...
I have used Efudex for four weeks and i now have a lump with a hard crust around it, and it is sore and itchy. What should i do? ## Hello, Judy! How are you? Have you informed your doctor, yet? The U.S. FDA does list the dryness/crusting as being possible side effects of using it. It may also cause abdominal pain, headache and mouth sores. How long has your doctor instructed you to use it? ## Medline Plus states "If you are using fluorouracil to treat actinic or solar keratoses, you should continue using it until the lesions start to peel off. This usually takes about 2 to 4 weeks. However, the lesions may not be completely healed until 1 or 2 months after you stop using fluorouracil. If you are using fluorouracil to treat basal cell carcinoma, you should continue using it until the...
I am on week 5 of using Efudex just above my baby toe. Really hard to wear shoes so pretty housebound. The pain has been excruciating the last few days. Tried Tylenol, Tylenol 3 and Ibuprofen - and nothing works. Can anyone recommend something? ## It might be best to speak to your doctor to find out what might help you the most, and do so safely. Efudex has been known to cause some pain, redness, and irritation, to the treated area as side effects, along with itching, and darkening of the skin. Has there been any change? Are you on any other medications?
Can I take ardosons when I take methotrexate and hydroxychloroquine for my arthritis and sciatica nerve? ## Can I take one day ardosons and one day hydroxicloroquine ## Ardoson is listed as containing Indomethacin and Methocarbamol, the first is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, and the second is a muscle relaxant. You should not take it, unless your doctor has instructed you to do so, since it could interact with some medications, or be contraindicated with some medical conditions. Are those the only other medications that you are taking?
I have used Efudex twice over several years. I wonder what will help the redness that happens after the crust has peeled away? The affected area is upper lip and side of nose. ## Hi Ren, have you finished taking the course of Efudex at this point? Medline Plus says "If you are using fluorouracil to treat actinic or solar keratoses, you should continue using it until the lesions start to peel off. This usually takes about 2 to 4 weeks. However, the lesions may not be completely healed until 1 or 2 months after you stop using fluorouracil." It also says that the redness is normal, except in cases of a severe red skin rash (which should be reported as a serious side effect). Would you consider your case severe? As to treating the redness, you may be able to apply an over the counte...
I've never had a sunburn and cannot tan. Why is this? I'm Italian and Spanish but have very fair skin because of health issues, I'm also anemic which makes me even whiter! :/ I've spent all summer outside and nothing. I get a tinncchh darker when I'm outside the whole season, but its soo little, ud never know. I'm so confused considering everyone's always said the more fair skinned u are, the more u will burn. I thankfully have no idea what a sunburn feels like lol. ## That isn't common, but you are not the first person to experience this, and from someone who does burn very easily, trust me, you aren't missing anything, you are also greatly lowering your risk of developing certain types of skin cancer. Do you experience other types of burns, such as ...
Have been undergoing chemo and Photon treatments for metastic Squamous cell carcinoma in my throat and lymph nodes on one side of my neck. After 4 weeks of treatments have problems swallowing, throat pain, dry mouth, water tastes salty and food has no flavor. I’m also getting ocular migraines and ringing in my ears after Photon Treatments. Food with no flavor I can deal with, but, water tasting salty is really frustrating. Any ideas out there as to what is causing what? ## Unfortunately, it is hard to even guess, since those are well known side effects of almost all cancer therapies. I understand how the salty water can be frustrating, I was on a medication, once, that caused it, thankfully, I was able to just switch to something else. Do you know anything more specific regarding ...
Sutent put sores and blisters on my wife's feet really bad. The doctor took her off it. The fda needs to take a good look at the side effects... ## I definitely agree with you that the FDA needs to step up and take a closer look into the long term effects of whatever they approve for the public... Unfortunately, in any medical situation, a patient has to be their own best advocate. Doctors often prescribe medications according to their experience with how well something has worked for other patients and, when something goes wrong, they are often reluctant to attribute it to the medication. Hopefully your wife is able to find something natural that works just as well or better without the side effects of Sutent. If you take a look at the link below, you can view a list of side effect...
Triangular white Pill With CG On One Side And V shape on The Other ## Hello, The closest match I've been able to find is Femara (2.5 mg). It is a round yellow pill with a "CG" imprint on one side and "FV" on the other. Femara belongs to the drug classes aromatase inhibitors, and hormones/antineoplastics and is used in the treatment of breast cancer (metastatic and adjuvant) and female infertility. Manufacturer: Novartis Pharmaceuticals National Drug Code (NDC): 00078-0249 You can learn more about this drug on the page for Femara Details Perhaps you have a similar medication that was manufactured by a different company? ## If it is white, it is Cataflam, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID). ## I need help identifying a drug with CG on one side and V on the other...
I used this prescription on my forehead twice a day for 10 days. Removed all my ak's. Has now been about 1 year and a few are returning. You must apply a very thin film. It did turn bright red after about 7 days. Remains that way while peeling. About three weeks after stopping treatment. Not much pain for me. Just too much time hiding at home. Don't use any cosmetics while treating. Never do your whole face at once! ## I agree completely. I did the exact treatment in 2014 and have been using this product on and off since then. Only a few have returned to this day. Works great for me. I experienced minimum sting or itching. You must use a very fine touch of cream and then rub it in. Keep treated areas small. Never exceed over 9 x 9 inch or it will get into your blood and cause pa...
I am from Mumbai India. My friend who lives in Goa has cancer in the kidney and it has spread to his liver. He is 60 years old. I wanted to know are they suitable for him and if so can they be sent to India by post or any other means? ## Would suggest taking B-17 instead. Cost: around $27.00 usd. Research it for yourself online. ## Where can you get B-17 for this price? Can you recommend a location. ## B-17 is also known as Laetil. It is produced mostly from apricot kernels ## Just chew on apricot seeds 4 to 5 per day. You can buy it at any store like Nuts and Spices in Chennai. You should look up the Budwig Protocall. It involves mixing 1/2 cup paneer with a table spoon of flax seed oil; fruit and veg juices, wheat grass juice, soda bicarbonate, sunlight, exercise, no sugar or white ri...
I've been on Letrozole for over 6 months for metastatic breast cancer that spread to my bones. I had a complete hysterectomy in 1997 so I was surprised to learn my body fat still produces estrogen which fed my Invasive Lobular Breast Cancer. My second pill sent me into a horrible hot flash. I almost quit taking it but figured out by changing times I took it by advancing one hour each day that when I take it around 7p.m. I don't have hot flashes at night but do have one at 6pm right before time for another dose. ## You can read more about what these types of medications do on MedlinePlus. Letrozole is a hormone based chemotherapy, and when something disrupts your natural hormones, hot flashes can occur, just like they can during natural perimenopause, or menopause. As someone in ...
Iam fighting with lung cancer. i have pain in my rib bones . i was prescribed this medicine. Is it a pain killer, can I take it on a continues basis. ## This medication is an anticonvulsant that has also been shown to help with certain types of nerve pain and yes, to be effective, it must be taken regularly, as prescribed by your doctor. The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and weight changes. I am very sorry that you have lung cancer, I lost my father to it a few years ago. I hope your treatments work and you have a long, happy life. Is there anything else I can help with? ## My left side rib bone is paining n my doctor has prescribed me to take maxgalin 75 bt reading this about Cancer I am scared is it ne...
