Can I Add Methadone To Clean Urine And Pass A Drug Test That Needs To Be Positive For Methadone And Nothing Else? (Page 2) (Top voted first)

i am on 76mls of methadone have been clean from heroin addiction for 8 months. things were great, me and my partner of 12 years were on a high because we were clean but for the past few weeks iv became majorly depressed and he my partner started getting 'itchy' he came home yesterday with heroin ....major regrets and i now feel so low and disgusted with us both its even worse because we are at the drug screening clinic today!! why i wasnt strong enough yesterday to say no is beyond me uuugh anyway my question is this if i got someone who is completely drug free to give me a urine sample and added a tiny droplet of methadone to it would i pass a drug screening test? i want to come clean we have been addicts for 10 years we have finally a brilliant drug worker who has helped us ALOT and put her neck on the line for us as well, the staff really liked us, they sent my partner away to detox 7 months ago and it cost them £3000 he was extremely lucky as that is hardly ever done in the town we live in and from the facility we are at i dnt even want to look them in the eyes. we feel so bad and dnt want to let anyone down. someone told us they have been putting methadone in clean urine for 2 yrs and getting away with it im not so sure about this? and am very anxious. my partner has more to lose he has manic depression and is on vallium we have been given weekly pick up in full for our methadone and he gets his vallium monthly hes worried theyl take our privaliges away frm us so has asked me to do it just this once and he will never put me in the position again. if this isnt going to work i dnt even want to try it id rather just come clean and be honest and get the help we need but im not getting through to him and i dnt wnat to make him look bad if he lies and i tell the truth. thanks.

SO LETS HELP MY MAN OUT WHO IS NOT GOING TO LOOSE HIS PRIVLEGES BECAUSE MORE THAN ENOUGH PEOPLE KNOW URINES AT LABS HAVE SAMPLES WHERE BY THEY NEVER METABOLIZED THE DRUG. IT HAPPENS. NOW YOU CAN DO THIS ONCE OR TWICE BUT YOU WERE ON THE RIGHT PATH. IT IS NOT WORTH ALL THE STRESSING AND REGRETS. I AM KEEPING IT 100 young buck. LOOK IT UP SO YOU KNOW I KNOW MY S***. DON'T LET THAT CLINIC TAKE AWAY WHAT YOU EARNED WITHOUT RESEARCH. Check AMS STANDARD TOXICOLOGIST GY SCREENING AND ASK YOUR QUESTION BUT SAY YOU KNOW THAT THEY DO COME ACROSS LEGITIMATE URINE THAT THE BODY DID NOT METABOLIZE WHATEVER DRUG IT DID NOT BREAKDOWN IN THE BLOOD AND URINE AND SALIVA. Sorry to b so honest but how does a good thing get f***** up.because idiots open their mouths the wrong person hears it runs off and tells! So for future reference keep that in mind I bet your cheating at the clinic does not last too long all because a few jabber mouths couldn't just shut up.

If you understood anything about the disease of addiction you might be able to view things from a different view instead of making your harsh judgements and not even knowing anything about these people or their circumstances so before you go spouting off at the mouth again get informed and learn to speak as you would like to be spoken to instead of making harsh judgments about who should be parents and who needs to go to jail, maybe you yourself should spend some time their and then you wouldn't be so quick to condemn those who end up there

There are a myriad array of reasons as to why a person would require a clean sample. For instance, I have been going to the methadone clinic for over 2 years, NEVER had a dirty test in that time. I just did a very long drive to get back to town in time from a memorial service for my father. A concerned relative offered me an Adderall, so I would be awake the entire drive. Now I want to be certain that my next test is clean. I won't lose my kids (don't have any), I won't lose my job (self-employed app dev), and I won't go to jail, as I am at the clinic voluntarily. So get off your damn high horse and go picket some dead soldiers or something else with your Westboro buddies. You have NO reason to post here, read here, or be involved in any way, outside of support and factual information that is helpful and that is THAT!

It's not as easy for some people as it may have been for you..If it wasn't for the program that I have been on for 4 years I know I would still be a junky and a addict and yes if I feel I have to I will go up on my dose, because I have faced the fact that I have a serious infliction, disease, craving whatever they want to call it that will never go away.

U know what guys I just don't get why when we are all on the program and on it because of our opiate use that we are all bound to lose our carries for using drugs outside what methadone is supposed to be used and help for. like, I don't get why we get slammed for carries taken cause of doing something that has. Nothing to do with any of that!? and I really really hope and pray to god that u ladies r being straight up as I'm almost 3 hours from my clinic and soo don't wanna have my carries taken I can't go in every day

All these responses are annoying the hell out of me. Sorry yours is the one i responded to but you are wrong. You are correct that some clinics (like the one you go to) will not check for metabolites, but others do. Somewhere on this thread im hoping to read an actual way to trick this metabolite issue, however, what you said has been said countless times already. Why bother posting the same thing as so many others? Yes, it works at some places. Not at all places. I gave one a year and a half ago and got my take homes taken away. Now i'm almost off the s*** and really don't want to lose my two weeks. I think there is a way. There always is.

yes it worked for him. the test at the clinic i go to is a cup with an opening they let the urine through onto a strip with 5 drugs on but it doesnt test for whether the methadone has been metabolised. you only need a drop mind like 1ml if that mix it up i heat it in a jug with hot water like a baby bottle take it down try n get it to the degrees urine would be and you have 30mins untill the urine goes cold. i think on wed il be doing it??? it is awful iv done so well and slipped for a couple weeks and they will make me go bk on daily consumption and i feel ashamed dnt wnt to let ppl down you know what its like. good luck matey!

I went online and purchased one of those really small IV antibioitic bags that have a clip on the end to start / stop the flow. I get it to temp and then use one of those HOT HANDS hand warmer packets to maintain temp. You can run the tube just about anywhere you want, mine gets placed in my bra --and if it is to be a observed test you can get strategic about the tube itself. I would fill the bag with just water and practice with it if they are going to watch you. If they aren't watching then just put the tube on the other side of the bra and pull it when needed

You may be correct that if a clinic does a full screen, you will be detected for having on-metabolized methadone. It just happened to me. My counselor didn't freak out, take away my take-home privileges etc. She said man, man y factors go into this result: being on too low of a dose, your metabolism, if you happened to be sick and vomiting days prior to dropping. There ARE valid, believable excuses for getting by this result once or twice. I've been compliant on the program for 16+ years. I moved here and thier policies were so different I was shocked. I have a panic/anxiety disorder and have been on xanax for 10 years. Here they have a zero tolerance policy here for benzos. Have you ever had a panic attack.. a REAL panic attack? Well, your heart feels like it will explode, you shake, sweat, even hyperventilate or feel like you're suffocating. This clinic has NO right to take those meds away form me after 16 years of clean urine following their rules, etc. SO I felt I had no choice but do start faking my urine tests. I passed 4 tests and then my last one came up with non-metabolized methadone in my urine. SO now I'm freaking. I'll find a clean friend willing take a small amount 3-5 mg) one time ans save their pee. I have kids, a business.. and I have a Lonnnnnnng drive to get my doses each month. This program has it's good points but it's all so black/white. A person such as myself, who has been a model client for well over a decade gets forced into this situation due to their non-nonsensical rules. AM I supposed to live with panic attacks every day just to remain on their clinic? I felt that gave me NO choice. If I get caught, I'll just detox off. I'm down form 120 to 50mg anyway (all done at home on my own, saving the extra I remove each day in case something happens like a quick exit from the liquid-hand-cuff program). We aren't sheep. We're individuals and each person has individual circumstances..... not all of us faking UAs are doing it to sell their doses or get high.
But as far as needing these Metabolites in your urine, it makes me wonder if a creative individual could find a way around this. Would a combination of saliva, vomit or even feces add any of these properties..especially in combination? I know it sounds gross... but people's lives depend on keeping their take-home bottles. If there ARE solutions....yes, some people will abuse them. But some, such as myself, will use that solution as a way to continue to live my life without being treated like a criminal my legal-drug dealers selling synthetic heroin for profit. You think they follow these rules because they all care? Some do, but some of these clinics are nothing more than juice bars, following the rules just to stay in operation and could care less about you or your recovery. They just want their money. I'll do what I have to do.... and people can pass judgement if they want to. I really don't care.

i have a 6 panal drug screen, no temperature gage or any of the fany stuff. just a dip stick, if i take clean urine and add xanax will i pass , or rather should i say, will it show positive for benzos, i am in an ouypatient drug program, i started at 4 days a week and i have phazed to only one day over a period of 6 months so far, i made a mistake and used oxycodone, but i must test positve for xanax,

I've never personally done it myself but have known alot of people on the methadone that have. they get a small medicine bottle with tinfoil over the top. put a hole in the lid big enough to put a finger or something to peice the tin foil and then warm it like a baby bottle let it cool slightly and put it up "inside". then when youre at the clinic you just have to perice the tinfoil with something your nail a needle hair pin pen anything really! And as for that "mary" person everybodys human and everybody makes mistakes once in awhile if I were you I'd keep my unkind and unhelpful comments to myself as nobody wants to hear them!!

Hi I feel so dumb asking this cuz it sounds crazy, but I need to test for my doc and have methadone in my urine for pain management. I have gotten my sisters urine but she doesn't take methadone can I add it by dissolving a pill in the urine or am I totally screwed.

U don't know what you are talking about. It's not cool to put info out like that because you obviously didn't do your research properly. I have been adding liquid methadone to clean urine for about 2 years, and it works. The result is a positive screen for methadone. Also, this guy I knew from the clinic was kicked out of the Navy because he started using heroin. He was warming up some clean urine and used his finger to stir it, but the dummy had heroin residue on his fingers, because he had just handled heroin in preparing a shot. Anyway, that little bit of heroin residue got in the "clean" urine and he tested positive for heroin. He contaminated the clean urine, and it made him test positive for opiates. So, who ever you are, stop dragging everybody down with your incorrect information.

Don't try it. The metabolites in the methadone change after going through your body. Your Dr will know . I got sprung like that . Just admit to your one off use drs are here to help us and they respect the honesty. Really. Plus they understand ur only human. The nurses and ppl behind the glass might be sceptical and judgemental but your Dr won't ,good luck .
