Camber Adderall Complaints (Page 2) (Top voted first)

Camber's new generic for Adderall IR 15mg is no good. Prior to it I got 10mg Adderall from CVS and it worked great! Just got a fill from Kroger since CVS was out of stock. The brand is from Camber and not only does it not work, it makes me feel unwell, sleepy and super irritated. It’s crazy how companies are able to differentiate in their generics like they do. This Camber brand just makes me want to go to sleep but I feel so unwell it’s hard to. I can’t focus at all on anything but how sick I feel. Don’t take this new stuff people and if you have what did you think?

Stop taking it! Call your doctors and pharmacy and report it ya'll!! This s*** is poison! I'm returning mine to my Walgreens today and my doc is writing me a new script! Tell your pharmacist to put notes never to fill camber again due to an allergy! Let's get Camber recalled now!

Camber Adderall is awful. Something is not right with this medication. It makes me terribly sick. Nausea and headaches. I will not take this brand again.

This message is ruining my relationship. Adderall made me focus and gave me a feeling of gratitude. I was happy to start my day. This just makes me miserable. I am super attentive, however, but almost in a bad way. I have zero patience and want to strangle everyone. This is horrible - it's making me an ugly person. Never again.

ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW! THIS IS NOT OK. I ate a very healthy meal, I'm very hydrated, I took my regular supplements my scoop of coconut oil. Then I took my new generic 30 mg and now I feel like complete s***. Haven't been able to get anything done except for hang out on the toilet and pace around uncomfortably comfortably feeling terrible!

Note to anyone that needs help if you take calcium and vitamin C together you should be able to stop the effects of any type adderall. I typically would do this at bedtime but as soon as I took this medicine and it kicked in I took it right away because I started to realize I feel like s***, I looked up the company and this is where I'm at right now!

Now if we see a bunch of people getting sick there's gonna be a class action. They need to fix this. I don't want this medicine, I want my other f*****g medicine or something better. Usually it helps with my social anxiety and my ADHD and AD but this just made everything all the worse! Like I'm literally taking things to stop it and neutralize it in my system because this is like seriously messed up how I feel. And to see all the reviews in all of the listing all over the Internet was really concerning. This stuff just hit Jacksonville Walgreens... I wish I could send it back and wait until something better happens and I wouldn't care how long I'd have to wait because this isn't worth taking if it's not right!! I'm tempted to do a marquis and reagent test also a mass spectrometer / chromatograph analysis because I CAN do that! And only after ONE dose and it's terrible!

Let's keep spreading the word ya'll! This isn't right. Imagine mom's and dad's that are giving this to their kids and they don't understand why they feel terrible and what they're used to feeling on proper Medicine.

So I posted here a couple weeks ago regarding my life slowly falling apart since Kroger started feeding me these 30mg Adderall manufactured by Camber. I’ve been taking them for about 6 months now and at some point a crippling depression began to set in. I’m 50 and have been on adderall for about 20 years. It became impossible for me to work or get anything done over time, I had complete brain fog. We all know there are variations in the different brands of adderall but they are generally not too extreme. These Camber pills are a different story, I was blaming myself for my s***ty mental state and after having a conversation with a close friend who’s also ADD he told me he thought it was the Cambers. He had taken them before and was smart enough to notice they were s*** right away and immediately found a pharmacy that carried a different manufacturer. These Camber pills are not Adderall, they are poison. I don’t understand how they can play with people's heads like this, I know there’s got to be a lot of people suffering from taking these things. They did my head in for a while now and it’s absolute BS.

Ever since my grocery store pharmacy has switched to Camber IR, I have a headache every single time I take one! This is crazy! I filed a report from the link posted (thank you other contributor!) I was hoping they would switch back to the other generic, but no go! I have to wait until my next refill!

The CAMBER generic Adderall 30mg causes many symptoms and adverse reported events, as does Camber oxycodone ir. You need to report to fda online as a consumer and they will collect the reports. Cvs and Walgreens settled over a billion in class action suits in Florida alone and are making up with drugs that cost a cent.

After many years of suffering, I finally took the steps (and spent over $1,000) to be formally diagnosed with ADHD. The first medication I was prescribed was a generic form of Adderall XR 10 mg taken once a day with no side effects except dry mouth and loss of appetite. (I believe it was made by Par Pharm?) Anyway, it wasn't very effective in treating my ADHD and I was somewhat disappointed that it didn't help me. However, it was MUCH better in comparison to the second prescription that my doctor gave me, which was Camber's generic formula of Adderall IR 20 mg taken 2x a day. I was optimistic because the dosage was higher but little did I know that not all generic versions of Adderall are created equal. I had tried the name brand Adderall in the past and it worked beautifully, so I wanted to stick with that type of stimulant.
Well today was day six on the medication, and I have to say that this drug didn't even touch my ADHD symptoms. As a matter of fact, it made my symptoms MUCH worse!

I can't keep my eyes open during the day, I have brain fog, I get dizzy to the point of almost blacking out, I'm lethargic and unmotivated, I'm irritable, I have trouble sleeping at night, and not only is my brain unable to focus. but my eyes can't seem to focus either. Probably because of all the crying I did today from the depression, irritability and anxiety. The only positive thing is that I don't have much of an appetite so it's an easy way to lose weight, and instead of having a million thoughts racing through my head, I only have one thought wondering when or if the drug will become effective. I honestly didn't know that the generic form of Adderall would be so drastically different from the brand Adderall until I read these reviews and experienced it for myself, but I want to thank all of you who commented on this thread (except for the rude person who mocks our bad experience with this nasty drug) and since I have an emergency appointment with my physician tomorrow, I am going to ask that she prescribe the REAL Adderall. NO EXCEPTIONS.If that isn't possible, I'm much better off not taking ANY thing because at least I won't have the nasty side effects from taking that useless ineffective Camber brand. It's worth paying hundreds of dollars extra to get the treatment I so desperately need, and it will be worth knowing that there won't be any surprises at which generic Adderall the pharmacy decides they will give me next. Life's way too short.

It appears that Walgreens has switched from Teva to Camber generic Adderall IR, at least in my area.

I noticed immediately after taking Camber it is profoundly less potent and lacks the efficacy I experienced with Teva.

Should I call and ask my Walgreens pharmacist if they can special order Teva for me?

My concern is that by calling and asking this, might the pharmacist view this as somewhat suspicious?

The only reason the pharmacist might is I have been told that the Teva generic Adderall IR (the classic orange-peach football tablet) is the most in demand stimulant on the streets.

Thanks for your help.

Is it common to call and request certain generic brands....and.....in your opinion, by so doing, might this behavior seem somewhat.

?? agree dealing with Camber right now for the second time as King Soooers cannot get my normal Teva. This stuff is awful, does nothing but give me a headache and make me irritated!

I am just so SICK of this GENERIC ADDERALL situation! Getting prescribed medicine that is meant to help people like ourselves function properly in our everyday lives SHOULD NOT BE THIS DIFFICULT! I don't understand! IF there is a legitimate shortage of the active ingredient to make generic adderall, WHY do these INFERIOR GENERIC companies ALWAYS seem to pop out of the woodwork with PLENTY of their bogus "medicine" to go around? Could it be because they aren't really USING any of the "active ingredient" or they aren't using hardly any of the "active ingredient" in their pills and that's why they are the ONLY suppliers that seem to be available to fill our prescriptions? IF they were as good and as reputable as TEVA they too would be out of the active ingredient too! I'm just SICK of this! I wish someone would find another way for our prescriptions to get filled, WHATEVER means it takes!

This needs to stop with the generic Adderell. I am so sick to my stomach. I am so tired that I am fighting sleep, my skin is irritated, I feel like I took a combo of Valium and a laxative. Something is wrong with this medicine. I am scared now cause this company gave cancerous agents out in one med. I am so depressed now, keep crying, anxiety real bad. My eyes burn. I can’t think or remember stuff the brain fog is so bad. What can we do regarding FDA? How do we form a group to let FDA know that enough is enough.

January began my use of generic Adderall, made by Camber out of India. I want aware for two months that the manufacturer changed. Looking back I experienced fatigue, depression,a need to lay down far too early in the day, intestinal distress and diarrhea, agitation and a brain fog that also was mixed with inability to focus or accomplish basic tasks. After three months I told family that I needed help as I was feeling so depressed I wanted to give up. I began seeing a psych NP and treated with intranasal Spravato as I was in a bad way. It wasn't until then that I noticed that the bottle read CAMBRIA and wasn't Teva or another generic I've been used to in the 30mg IR category.

Please submit a report to MedWatch online. The FDA listens but it takes many voices and not just ten. You can Google MedWatch FDA drug report and you'll be directed to that site. You should let the pharmacist know and your doctor as ALL were surprised when I told them that this generic wasn't at all what my brain and body were used to for ADHD.

You aren’t losing it… these pills from Camber have nearly cost me everything I’ve built over the last 15 years. They are anti Adderall, they do the exact opposite of what they should be doing. I really can’t believe they can get away with serving this s*** up to people. I guess maybe it’s easy to point the finger at us and call us crazy because we’re on medication… it’s BS.

I was placed on the Adderall generic, made by drug supplier CAMBER Pharma, since my Walgreens in Jupiter, Florida filled my prescription for the 20mg IR tablets due to "CORPORATE" and that Camber sells them to Walgreens, CVS and many others at the lowest price possible.

I didn't recognize that the orange tablet was any different than the previous generic so I took my first dose. Shortly after I took my morning dose I became tired and had brain fog but didn't associate it, not for a long time with any change in medication. I developed agitation, difficulty with my ability to focus and complete daily tasks. I became very depressed over a couple of months and told the pharmacy that I thought the generic Adderall from CAMBER was making my head hurt, causing me to be profoundly depressed and agitated.

The pharmacist reassured me that the generics are actual equivalents by federal mandates. I told my pain doctors, my primary care and others. Soon I was so depressed I felt like I needed mental health assistance because I began to have Suicidal Ideation (just keeping it real folks). I saw and continue to see a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who began treatment with SPRAVATO, an intranasal antidepressant that can work rapidly. Some respond to Spravato, Esketamine (similar to Ketamine) after a few hours to days. Most antidepressants work differently and often take weeks to see any real effect and often the odd continues to change dosing or change to a different antidepressant.

I was in a high brain fog and didn't feel any relief until this novel treatment. After two months more of complaining and filing a Medication Alert with the FDA, I struggled with energy and fatigue. I was getting better in and ways but something was interfering and I determined it was the generic Adderall from CAMBER pharma of India, that was causing these terrible side effects. Once I was able to get an actual officially appointment the doctor was not at all surprised and believed me in my very first visit. He told me that although the generic medications are made to be equal with the dosage of the active drug, a 20 percent difference is allowed for fillers and other ingredients that may affect where the medication is absorbed in the body, etc. He stated he would write a prescription to direct my Pharmacist at the new Pharmacy Abacoa in Jupiter, not Walgreens after 20 years, to "Dispense As Written" Adderall 20mg IR and added to never dispense medications from CAMBER.

I couldn't bring my old medication into the new Pharmacy to obtain what I needed as there are so many issues involved due to strict enforcement of Controlled Substances in the USA and the impact it would have on my Patient Health Profile, a system all of you are on that keeps track of all your medications and sets RED FLAGS that permanently stain your record. I've never failed a drug screen and never abused medications. Long story short PLEASE CONTACT THE MEDICATION ALERT, available with a Google search to report an issue with a medication and FDA, and complete as much of the form as you can. The only way they will actually respond is after many complaints or when the number of suicides increases the overall mortality rate. Your doctor or prescriber can send change your prescription to the Brand Name or write you don't want CAMBER for a generic.

I just got camber for my booster and I did not like it. It made my heart race and my mouth very itchy. I got it from fred meyer because I get my XR there which is Shire brand which works great. I also had no focus on Camber

Thank you for sharing and giving this suggestion! I was trying to figure out where to report my six month nightmare (and periodic month of craziness from time to time over the past two years).

I received my Adderall a few times, from Kroger over the years that I was confused about, and I thought it was "bad/inactive"....but after I was getting the prescription late last year, into this year (six months between my med reviews) I started feeling like crap! Tired, depressed, just slept for hours extra until the meds would hit me all day once for an hour and a half or two! It was awful, because during that time I felt like my mind was participating in a three mile sprint and just a few minutes of walking downstairs and trying to clean would have me whipped! I started taking half a dose (15 mg) but it still wasn't great!

An hour and a half before my drs appt, I took the half pill that I had been doing for over two weeks (I thought maybe my dose needed to be lowered or needed an extended release etc). The nurse freaked out about my blood pressure! She took it three times before changing arms to take it another two times. While I do tend to have slightly higher blood pressure (and "white coat" syndrome), I kept explaining that it's normal for it to be higher. After several questions and serious concern of hers, that I didn't take seriously at first, I asked her what it was reading at....201/120??. That's when I explained that was extremely high, and probably why I had just told her I needed to discuss the new brand of awful pills!!
