To answer your question it has codeine in it, which is an opiate and in standard drug panels will come up on the same line as any other opiate.

why would cheratussin show up on a drug test.....ummmm simple really....CODEINE...a cousin of the more notorious MORPHINE.....a poppy derivitive....nuff said...be safe...PS doctors are OUT OF LINE FOR NOT MAKING SUCH INFO PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE....

Codine is a narcotic opiate.... these are drugs commenly abused by drug seekers.

This would come up on a drug panel because codeine is an opiate that essentially gets changed into morphine by your body

i just got prescribed this for excessive coughing and the bottle says 1to2 tsp every 6 to 8 hrs it is not helping at all. i sick of coughing myself to death! Any suggestions??

I WAS PRESCRIBED THIS CHERATUSSIN AC SYRUP AS WELL FOR THE FLU TOOK IT LIKE THE DOCTOR SAID START HAVING SEVERE PAIN IN MY STOMACH AS WELL BUT THE COUGHING AND PAIN IN MY LEGS WENT AWAY I DONT UNDERSTAND

Cherratussin ac is a narcotic cough medicine. The codeine in the medication would show up on a drug test because it is a relative of cocaine so some of the structures are similar.
