I suffered so many side effects since starting this med. The first thing was hair loss, I haven't cut my hair in 2 years and it's gotten thin and stringy. Next I started to notice my feet and hands were cold and purple. I looked that up to see what was wrong and after much searching online found this was another side effect. Then I looked up extreme fatigue, another side effect. And weight gain. It says only 4 lbs, but my endocrinologist put on a RX diet pill that was supposed to help me lose weight and I haven't lost one lb! I don't eat anything! I have salad, tuna and raw vegetables at work and a piece of meat and watermelon when I get home. I never eat the junk food that my coworkers bring in. I have another question pending about discontinuing Indapamide, with my doctor's permission. However, I discovered that the palpitations I was experiencing every morning started after taking Felodipine 10mg. I've taken this for many years and I'm not sure why I have this side effect now. This is the second day without taking it, and so far, I've had no palpitations. My blood pressure is normal to low normal and I check it daily. I also take Irbesartan and Atenolol along with Spironolactone for lowering blood pressure. I take Levothyroxine (88 mcg, 5 days a week-it was lowered two years ago). My doctor has taken me off Ramipril 10mg and Bisoprolol 1.25 and put me on Perindopril 4mg. The ramipril did not lower my bp but i had few side effects . When the bisoprolol was added it lowered my bp a little but it was still out of control and I got bouts of vertigo and palpatations when the Bisoprolol was added. However as I was on amlodipine for a number of years , that actually kept my bp lower but the side effects gave me no quality of life at all so i would not like to use again. I get muscle spasms and twitches all over. Head pressure at top back of head, terrible dizziness and ringing in ears. 42 year old female. 4 weeks I suffer with dizziness and the feeling of sinus pressure but doc says its high BP. 140/90 put me on Bio atenolol together with adcor water pill. I was switched from Losartan by teva, which I was doing great on to Losartan by pack. Within 2 days my legs have swelled and my blood pressure has gone up. I don't know if I'm just being paranoid. Last saturday my blood pressure was 99/62 so i called my doctor and went for an appointment and my doctor told me to stop taking losartan if its below 140/90. I took Clonidine for three years for high blood pressure. I had severe itching and stinging in both shoulders intermittently. I was miserable. It took me three years to confirm that Clonidine was the culprit. The doctor didn't believe me so ordered x rays for neck arthritis. Nothing showed up but a touch of arthritis. I just picked up my prescription 344 on one side the other side has a 5 also this pill is round whereas prior I believe it was a different shape. It is a totally different color than last month, last month it was and has been for a very long time, been kind of a pink or peach color.
