She is having BP since 15 years. ## Details about this medication have been difficult to come across. This product appears to be manufactured by Dr. Reddy's in India, containing the active ingredients TELMISARTAN + HCT. The HCT might actually refer to HCTZ, but that is just what the manufacturer listed it as. This medication is used for treating high blood pressure. It should reduce your blood pressure within a couple of weeks. Because it does not cure high blood pressure (merely keeps it under control) you may need to take it regularly, even if you feel well. Please follow your physician's advice in t...

On Losartan .5, less than 3 weeks In newly taking Losartan (no adverse side effect symptoms) average blood pressure has increased moderately during this time period . Physician advised. Curious if this experience was repeated in any clinical drug trials or other patients with a subsequent longer term use of the Losartan reversing the trend line to lowering BP. ## There is always a risk that any given medication could cause the opposite of its intended effects in some people that take it. It is not very common, but yes, the NIH and the FDA both note that it is possible and has happened, before. It may be that it is not the right medication to help you and you need to try something else. There are many blood pressure medications available. Has there been any change? ## Thanks for the feed...
Hi, my 10yo son has ADHD, and he takes 60mg of Ritalin during the day. Having trouble falling asleep, 8monyhs ago we started giving him Clonidine 1 1/2 × 0.1mg at night to sleep. However he hates it, and takes forever to wake up in the morning and now we want to stop. I am only now wondering the dangers of this medication long term on a 10yo, considering what it does to BP and everything else...and my son will need this for the next 10 to 50 years! I would like to give him something else instead, but don't know what to give and how to proceed with swapping. Please help us!

What the hell is this! Anyone? Peach round pfizer one side adn 25 other.. ## Hello, The closest match I've been able to find is Inspra (25 mg). It is a diamond shaped, light yellow pill with the imprint Pfizer on one side and NSR 25 on the other. It is manufactured by Pfizer and has a National Drug Code of 00025-1710. Inspra contains the active ingredient Eplerenone, which is an aldosterone antagonist used as an adjunct in the management of chronic heart failure. It is similar to the diuretic spironolactone, though it is much more selective for the mineralocorticoid receptor in comparison (i.e., does not possess any antiandrogen, progestogen, or estrogenic effects), and is specifically marketed for reducing cardiovascular risk in patients following myocardial infarction. Common adve...

energa is a medical drug related both to heart blood pressure , it is avitamine also deals with sex proplems ## Energa is not a medical drug, it is only a nutritional supplement, therefore, it is not actually proven to help with any of the conditions you listed. In addition, claiming it is a drug/medication can be dangerous, because those who require medications to treat their conditions may stop taking their prescriptions, in favor of this and they could end up with life threatening problems. The ingredients in it are listed as: Epimedium (Horny Goat Weed), Cistanche, Lurong, Actinolite, Maca, Velvet Bean, Catuaba, Korean Ginseng, Ginkgo Biloba, Muira Puama, Deer Antler, Tribulus Terrestris and Cordyceps. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Who makes manufactures energa capsu...
blood pressure ## Metoprolol Tartrate Click Here ## I have been taking Metoprolol Tartrate 25mg, twice a day since my heart operation in 2006. Throughout this time I had "occassional" dizziness. However, this past April I nearly fully collasped while walking in my house. Thinking it was my heart, I spent 3 days in the hospital and was tested "head to foot" and no problems were found. Since that time I would have "passing out" symtons while walking , and would completly stop, and it would disappear. This was happeing frequently. In May I passed out while standing. On June 1 dosage was dropped to 25mg ONCE a day. I am now fine ## I am currently taking clonidine 1 mg once a day, Metropol 100 mg 2x a day, and nifipine 90 mg once a day. I started taking these meds in ...

I have been taking Amlodipine for high blood pressure for about 7 years which has been fine up till about 3 to 4 months when I experienced very hot sweats, dry mouth and cough, shoulder and neck pains and some fluttering on my right side just below my breast bone, these have got worse and more frequent. But when I go for my brisk Walk I don't get them. I am due to see my doctor on Friday. Can you tell me if an alternative available to amlodipine that would not have these side effects.
Updated in AmlodipineI had a panic attack in my sleep due to anxiety which sent my BP rocketing g and the fastest palpitations I have ever felt. I thought I was about to have a heart attack so called an ambulance, I was taken to A&E as I was getting numbness in my left arm. My ECG and bloods were normal but my BP was 184/111 it took hours before it went down. So a few days later I was at my doctors who said I now have to take Ramipril with 5mg Amlodipine, he didn't say when I should take them, plus he has changed my Simvastatin to Artorvastatin plus I take Metformin twice a day for type 2. Diabetes. I take Ramipril in the morning and Amlodipine at night and having a terrible time, numbness in my left lower arm and hand, dizzy pressure in my head, nausea, major palpitations and panic attack dreams at...
I just got my refill for Losartan with 113 on one and S on the other side, so I'm wondering if this is the right one? My pills are usually green and oval shaped. ## Anita, I can confirm that a white round pill with the imprint 113 HH is Losartan Potassium 100 mg. (NDC code 16571-502). Although I am a bit confused because in your message you are also saying that your refill contained pills with the imprint 113 S which also happens to be another brand of Losartan Potassium 100 mg (NDC code 43547-362). It is common to see the same generic drug manufactured by many different companies, thereby taking different appearances. Can you please share any other details? Which pills did in fact appear in your refill? The ones described in the title of this page, or in your message?
oblong pill with horizontal cut in the middle KU119 ## my blood pressure seem to be dropping 62-67,70 during day and i have several bad feeling spells lasting long at times and i wanting to know if my isosorb mono 60mg er along with my other meds, losartan-hctz, metoprolol,klor-con have anything to do with some days i feel sick as a dog as the old sayin ## I'm going to add some information here for anyone else seeking similar details on blood pressure issues. When it's dropping severely low, like Arthur stated, there is always a chance that it could be due to one or more of the medications you're taking. In that case, the best thing you can do is talk to your doctor about it. They can usually help you determine which one(s) may be causing the issue, since some are more prone...
My doctor has prescribed olmesartan 40 , amlodipine 5, and hydrothiazine 12.5 twice daily. Is this too much of dosage ? ## For the best possibly outcome and your own safety, you should take the medications as instructed by your doctor. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, dehydration, and hypotension. Is there anything else I can help with?
What is a white oblong pill with nothing on one side and on the other side it has a triangle and a M? ## Hi Lynn, A white oblong pill with a triangle and an M on one side (separated by a score line), and blank on the other side is reportedly identified as a 25mg Metoprolol Succinate Extended-Release tablet; made by Watson Pharmaceuticals. This medication is indicated for use in treating hypertension. For additional verification, the size of the tablet is listed as 11.00 mm and carries a National Drug Code of 62037-0830. I hope this helps!
How long will the drug be in my system? ## Hello, James! How are you? The FDA classifies Amlodipine as a calcium channel blocker that is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, increase urination and hypotension. However, if you are taking it to treat one of these serious health conditions, I strongly urge you not to stop taking it, without speaking to your doctor to replace it with something else. I understand that side effects can be problematic, but letting your condition get out of control could put you at risk of heart attack, stroke or congestive heart failure. Any of which risks being fatal. What types of problems are you having with it and how long have you been tak...
I am 45 years old. recently diagnosed with hypertension at 170/90 and a few more readings showed 153/95 and 143/96.. I had never used any pills till now..I was agile and active... But, the doctor has prescribed Amlong-A along with Becosules for 10 days and might change tablets based on the results... Being my first time on medication I'm a bit anxious about its side effects.... ## Becosules is just listed as being a multivitamin. Amlong-A is the actual medication here and the NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. It is far more dangerous to allow your blood pressure to remain elevated than it is to take the medication as instructed by your doctor. What side effects are you anxious about? ## Sorry f...
