My spouse has tried both bp meds. The benicar is u much better med than thr loristatin. Benicar works very well. The loriststin just doesn't work @ all. Can Amlodipine Besylate 5mg cause you to retain fluid in your feet and legs? It really seems to me as though it is - so hopefully y...

ive been on bystolic for several months now since may 2012 and i have gained 12 lbs and i have also been craving sweets like crazy, has anyone else experinced this ? ## Bystolic contains the active ingredient Nebivolol and most of these blood pressure and cardiac medications can cause weight gain, but I didn't find any other reports of it causing such cravings. Learn more Nebivolol details here. The weight gain is also not usually so severe, so I really think you need to look into other possible causes. For the most part, cravings are usually caused by the lack of something in our body, so our body makes us crave substances that can raise whatever it is that we are deficient in. Thus, as craving for sweets may be due to something such as a deficiency in vitamin C and our body is set...

Just realized that I took Hydralazine 25mg three hours apart when it's supposed to be taken every eight hours. ## Took my 100 mg hydralazine at 3:30 and when I went to take my metformin and Lisinopril instead of grabbing Lisinopril took another hydralazine instead 6:30 , should I be concerned and should I take my Lisinopril or wait until bedtime when I usually take my other hydralazine ? ## Can I take 100 mg hydralazine 7 hours apart before the next dose. ## Taking an extra dose of Hydralazine within 3 hours may result in more lowering of your blood pressure than usual, and additional side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and increased urination. my mother is of 70 years and had undergone knee surgery. She was diagnosed with high BP 130 / 90. Doctor has advised to take Eritel ch 40mg and from last 5 days her BP went low to 90/60. Please advise whethwr to stop both these drugs or not and also how her BP can come to normal. Please advise ## Hi, Bob! How is she feeling? 90/60 isn't dangerous, unless it's causing her symptoms, such as feeling really dizzy and drowsy. That's actually a very good blood pressure reading. Eritel CH contains the active ingredients Telmisartan and Chlorthalidone, it is commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. The Chlorthalidone is a type of diuretic, so she may also be getting slightly dehydrated. How much fluid does she drink each day? There are more Telmisar...

Took 25mg for 5-6 years and upped by Dr. to 50mg a few years ago due to supposed HBP. Started losing my hair all within one month on crown after being on Metoprolol for a couple of years. Thought it was due to menopause. Was put on med due to PVC's (early heart beats). Turned out several years after going on this med found out that PVC's were due to lack of Vitamin D. Dr. told me to continue meds to lower my BP. Recently ran out of meds and while waiting for refill, took BP several times a day. Found out my BP was better without the Metoprolol. Been off of it cold turkey for a month. Unless my BP goes up, I will NEVER go back on this again. ## Hello, Nix! How are you? I found some white pills amongst other benzodiazepines in a drawer at a friends house and I'm having trouble distinguishing them. ## I've scoured the internet for this pill. and the only one that fits the description is a german version of clonazepam (antelepsin). However, that pill seems to have beveled edges. The one I have is smooth with 20 on one side and a scored on the other side so that it can easily break in half. I was told it is 2mg clonazepam. I have been on Sandoz Telmisartan 80 mg for many years and my pharmacy has switched me to Auro Telmisartan 80 mg. Is the Auro brand safe and comparable to Sandoz? ## Yes, they are comparable, both are Telmisartan, just manufactured by different companies. The typical Telmisartan side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, increased urination, headache, and hypotension. Have you started taking it, yet? If so, how are you doing on it? ## I have been on the Sandoz Telmisartan for around 15 years and just a few weeks on the Auro Brand so at this point I would have to say the Jury's still out.
