I'm very sorry about the theft. It will really depend on what medication was stolen. If it was a controlled substance, the police report might keep your doctor from penalizing you, but they most likely will not replace the prescription. If it was something life-sustaining, such as blood pressure medication, then yes, they should replace it for you. Is there anything else I can help with?
are there any reactions from eating grapefruit while taking lisionpril? ## I haven't found anything listed that shows that grapefruit causes any problems, when taking Lisinopril, but you should check with your doctor, or pharmacist to be certain. Are there any warnings about it listed on the label? ## Can I take HCTZ 12.5mg per day with 2 drops grapefruitseed extract un 2 oz. water 2X per day? I accidentaly took two 25mg losartan but one in the morning and one at 2pm will i be okay ## Hello, Dee Dee! How are you? Did you suffer any adverse effects? Anytime you are worried about a possible overdose, you should contact your doctor, poison control or go to your nearest ER, for your own safety. As to the dosage, it can be given in doses up to 100mgs a day. However, accidentally doubling your dose could cause your blood pressure to go lower than usual, so you may experience dizziness, drowsiness and headache. If you have a smartphone, I'd suggest getting a reminder app for prescriptions. One that not only reminds you when to take them, but one that makes you acknowledge when you've taken it, to avoid such instances in the future.
I have OCD and I have a pill phobia and become obsessed. My question is how much is too much of Lisinopril 25mg? Toxic effects? also for HCTZ 25mg? ## Hello, Brenda! How are you? I understand, I have OCD myself and frequently do the same thing with medications, though I don't have a phobia about taking them. Anyway, I am very happy to help with more information. You should only take the amount your doctor has prescribed. But the maximum daily dose of Lisinopril can go as high as 80mgs daily, but it's rarely used in doses more than 40mgs daily. This medication is an ACE inhibitor that's most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. Its side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, dry cough and hypotension. Hydrochloroth...
Causing a tickle in throat. Not on any high blood pressure meds. ## Hello, Laurie! How are you? Do you know what's causing it, is it a cold or allergies? The proper remedy will really depend on that. What have you tried? Are you on any other medications?
I took Diovan brand 320-12.5mg for a very long time. The generic became available. I have a history of reacting to drugs and wanted to stay with the Sandoz which I've been told is a generic to Diovan and Sandoz company is the generic company of Novartis who originally made Diovan brand. By hopping from one drug store to another I found Valsartan Hydrochlorathiazide tablets 320-12.5 mg marked identical to the brand drug with the HIL and NVR on the pink oval pill. I paid generic price. Soon pharmacy ran out and told me they would not be getting anymore Sandoz Valsartan HCTZ 320-12.5mg. I was told to go to other pharmacies and maybe they would have some on their shelf. I did, I even went out of state and was able to buy 90 days but was told that's it, no more will be available. The...
Metoprolol lowers pulse to much for my comfort level. Pulse runs sometimes in low 50's and once in a while into 40's p/m. This actually causes anxiety. If I don't take it I feel slight angina pectorus. I am taking 25 mg 2 times daily (extended release) ## @wbmjr, According to the US National Library of Medicine, Metoprolol is reported to be in a class of medications known as beta blockers. This type of medication works by relaxing the blood vessels and slowing your heart rate to improve blood flow & decrease blood pressure. Ref: nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/meds/a682864.html So as far as alternatives are concerned, it sounds to me like you may need to ask your doctor about looking into a different class of drugs altogether (such as ACE inhibitors or Diuretics) in ord...
I am 58 and suffering from high blood pressure. I recently was taking coveram 10/10 mg and natrilix SR. I took these tablet for approximate 4 months. Since november I am switched to enalapril maleate 10 mg and amlodipine besylate. Took metoprolol tartrate 50mg last night and woke up 4 hours later with bp 145/107 went back to sleep woke up 151/98. What to do? ## Hello, Lucy! How are you? My first question is how long have you been taking it? This medication will take about a month to reach its full level of efficacy in your body, so you're not going to see an immediate improvement in your blood pressure. My second question is why are you checking it when you wake up in the middle of the night? As I said, these medications don't work immediately, it will take a few weeks to see improvement, if it works for you. Obsessively checking, whenever you have trouble sleeping or what have you is only going to worry you needlessly. You should only check it as often as your doctor has instructed and make sure to take ...

Hi there. I have been taking Zuvamor 20 for the past 12 days. Today is the worst day I have had. I feel exhausted have no energy and is a effort to walk or do anything. My back muscles are aching, and at times I feel a bit confused. these symptoms have got worse over the last two days. Could it be the Zuvamor. I am also on Micardis 80mg hexablock 30 mg and clift which I have been on for years. Thank you for your time
Updated in MicardisI've been taking 80mg/12.5 for some months now; bp when measured with two different monitors (upper arm and wrist) has averaged 106-110/61-63, with diastolic figures at times lower than 60, heart rate 55-70. Readings are elevated at the doctors clinic ~ 130-140/75-80. Main problem is regular tension like headache, with similar burning sensation feeling occasionally behind the ears / neck region. CT scan results okay. Electrolytes figures, kidney & liver function tests, and sugar level tests results also okay. I'm strongly convinced that the co-diovan medication is responsible for the headaches / burning sensation feeling described early. My doctors are still observing and this has affected quality of life for me. Is anyone with a similar experience and how can this be addres...
