So, I started my menstrual cycle on Friday, January 1st, on the same day I took the first contraceptive pill in the pack. My period lasted about 5 days which was on Tuesday Jan. 5th. I'm kind of scared to be intimate with my boyfriend without a condom knowing I've been on the pill for about a week. Has the pill started working properly since I've taken it for 8 days? I usually take them right when I wake up around 5:30 or I'll take it a bit later around 8 o'clock. Today, Jan. 8th I took my pill at 1:15 pm. Is this okay or no?
