Depo Or Nur- Isterate Side Effects

hi early this year i used a depo contraceptive and realise that am menstruating for a long time about 2 weeks, my doctor suggest that i switch to nur- isterate,i took it on the 4th of August and i was on my period since then i never stopped bleeding. what might be the problem please help ##stressed##

That can be a normal side effect of hormonal contraceptives, as reported by the U.S. FDA, you may also experience nausea, headache, dizziness, irritability and PMS-like symptoms.

It usually takes about 3 months for them to clear up and go away, once your body gets used to the medication. If they continue after that, then it may not be the right one for you to take.
