They're tiny (but bigger than a birth control pill) bright yellow with the imprint IA, then a score with 25 underneath. Nothing on the other side. I have a prescription for endone 5mg but need to get to dr for new prescription which won't happen for a week. I'm a bit uneasy about taking it until I know EXACTLY what it is. Can someone please help? ## I have some of those tablets too ! Can someone tell me what they are please ? ## Hi, I'm in the same situation and can't find any information about these. Updated in ImplanonI started taking Lo Loestrin Fe on July 2nd, 2012. I was previously on Beyaz for about a year until my yearly checkup with my gynecologist. She switched me to Lo Loestrin Fe because of all of the recent blood clot and legal scares with Beyaz. Anyway, on Beyaz, I was used to having a VERY regular period that started the morning of my last pill in the pack. I was expecting to get my period on the same day as usual with Lo Loestrin Fe, but I have never actually bled. All that I have been shedding is a thick, brown substance. This was normal in the beginning and end of my periods on Beyaz, but on Lo Loestrin Fe, I have never actually had a normal period. I don't know if this is because of the hormonal differences in the pills or if I am pregnant. It is currently 2 days after I should ha...

I've been taking Minastrin for about 4 months now. My periods have been pretty correlated with the brown pills. I'm on the brown pills now and still have not started my period. I know some women experience not having a period at all or light periods while on the pill, but since I've had consistent periods so far, is this a reason to believe I could be pregnant? ## Hello, Bekah! How are you? If you've not missed any pills, then there is no reason to think you might be pregnant. Skipping your period can happen, when you're taking oral contraceptives, but is nothing to worry about, if you've not missed any tablets and your last pap smear was normal. Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, headache, irritability and PMS-like symptoms. H...
My lmp is: 03/05/15. When I took krimson 35, I felt low bleeding on 30/05/15, and it did not flow as usual and was very very low at that. The next day (31/05/15) I took regestrone sandoz, and am continually taking krimson 35 from 01/06/2015. Now my period completely stopped. My doubt and fear is if I am pregnant? Please help me solve my fear and problem... ## It can be normal to experience changes in your flow, when taking a hormonal contraceptive, according to the NIH. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, spotting, and PMS-like symptoms. Are you on any other medications?
I started taking loestrin fe 2 weeks ago. A month after my baby was born, I started taking the pills at 4:00pm but I've been so busy with the baby that I forget to take them at the same time. Is there any risk that I can get pregnant if i have intercourse and don't take them on time? ## Hello, Komo07! How are you? Congratulations on the baby! If you're only taking them a couple hours late, then no. You've really got about a 12 hour window, before it's considered a late pill and 24 hours, before it's considered a missed pill. They tell you to take them at the same time to try to keep you in the habit of taking them, so you don't miss any. The FDA lists the typical side effects of oral contraceptives as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritabili...
It's my last day of taking the althea pill. I thought I'd just have menstruation on my pill-free days but mine started on my 13th day of taking the pill and it's my 22nd day now and I still have menstruation. I'm so worried now. ## Hi, I am 28 years old. I have to go out on my 5th day of menstruation but I need to stop the bleeding. Is it possible to stop it by taking any tablet? ## That can be a normal side effect of taking a hormonal contraceptive and it may take 3 months, or so, before it stops. Other side effects, as listed by the NIH, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, and PMS-like symptoms. If it continues past that time period, or becomes heavy, you should consult your doctor. Are either of you on any other medications?
I just want to know up to what age should we used or take a contraceptive pills? ## It really depends on the woman that is taking them. Some women can only take them until they are about 40, some women can take them for a few years more. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, spotting, and PMS-like symptoms. How old are you?
i am 42 year unmarried girl . i have a problem of irrgular periods . as per gynec my overies are not functioning. she perscribed me femilon. i wanted to know is it safe for unmarried women and for high BP paitent. ## Femilon is a hormonal oral contraceptive and it can work to help regulate your cycle, but it won't make your ovaries start functioning again. It is normal for them to slow down or stop functioning at your age, it means your most likely in perimenopause. And they can be used by all women, whether or not you are married doesn't matter. But if a woman is married and actively engaging in intercourse, they can prevent pregnancy. But they can cause elevated blood pressure in some women that take them, so you should monitor your blood pressure regularly. If it starts to el...

Will I definitely get my period on the last week of the Tri Lo Sprintec pills? That's the white pills in my pack. ## There is no way to say you definitely will. You should get it that week, however, there are many reasons a woman may skip a period or start late. How long have you been taking them? Do you normally start your period on time? ## I have been on Tri-Lo-Sprintec for about 9 months now and yes like many other women have been experiencing major anxiety issues, but what I want to know is, is it normal to be later or miss a period on the pill? I have started as late as a Thursday in the week but usually start on Wednesday. Is it possible? ## I've been taking Tri-Lo Sprintec now for almost a year, but this month I have not gotten my period. I have to start my new pack tomo...
Hey. I forgot to take a white pill a couple days ago but remembered to take it and took it about 5 hours later than i usually do. Will it still be effective? How big can the time gap be before its no use to take it late? Thanx ## Hi, Isa! How are you? Yes, that's basically just taking it late. Missing a pill is usually considered a gap of 24 hours or more, from when you were supposed to take it. So, if you normally take it at 10am, but forgot and didn't realize it until the following day at 10am, when you went to take that one, it would be considered a missed pill. You should double check this information with your doctor, but that's usually the way it works. :-) Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hi i started using Oralcon birth control pills yesterday, i started th...
I took 4 orange pills of nordette as ecp and the next dose 4 hours late because i fell asleep. i vomited 2 hours after the first dose.10 hours after the second dose now and im experiencing abdominal cramps, nausea and some light spotting/ light bleeding.. my question is, is this my period or just a side effect of the pills? ## It is actually hard to say. It could be your period, or a side effect, which the NIH lists as also possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and PMS-like symptoms. Has it turned into a full flow, or are you still just spotting?
I get so much of lower back pain on my periods time.. Especially 4th day is hell..I get lower back pain and heavy blood flow..I was taking pill to stop the pain but it ll stop the blood flow as well. How do i handle my 4th day period with out pain? Can i take tablets on my periods time, bcos pple say if i take tablets on my periods it will affect my pregnancy time. ## Some women do not experience periods, while taking an oral contraceptive and there is nothing wrong with that, unless your doctor tells you otherwise. Other side effects, as listed by the NIH may include nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability. It will not cause a problem in the future, when you wish to become pregnant. What has your doctor advised?

I can feel it just under the skin and can also see the rods when i lift my arm as if they are just underneath the skin. Please advise. ## That can be a normal side effect of using this implant, Jay. The NIH lists other side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, and PMS-like symptoms. Reneee, have you had your doctor check on them for you?
I've been taking lomedia 24 for a few months and I always get my period on the third week of the active pills. I don't understand why I'm still getting periods while I'm taking active pills. Also, Is the entire last week (3whites and 4 brown pills) placebo pills? Because I think since I got my period now, I might as well start a new pack on Sunday and skip the last week since I've already gotten my period, right? Can I just take them pack to pack (first 21 pills then start a new pack) and never get a period? Because I would love thattttt! I just really need advice. ## Hello, Tawanda! How are you?
