I have not had a period in two months. Not pregnant. Went to doctor yesterday and her prescribed previfem. Since I don't know when my period should start, should I just start them on Sunday? Unless your doctor instructs otherwise, you can start them at any time, it doesn't have to be on a Sunday, and day of the week will be fine. You just won't be protected against pregnancy, until you've been on it for a full week, so you'll need to use a backup form of contraception for the first 7 days. A friend of mine took the plan b pill and has not had her period in 2 months. She has had headaches, been vomiting and feeling very hyped up and sensitive. She keeps saying she needs to have her period to release all this tension. She has been very stressed out over it. She had blood work done and it showed a low white blood cell count. Can the plan b pill and the side affects cause her to have a low white blood cell count? ## No, that is not a normal side effect. We've started my daughter on sprintec 28 birth control pills 21 days ago to regulate her menstrual cycle. She started her period 13 days after she starrted taking the pill - this is the 11th day and she is still bleeding. Very heavy at times. I did not know she had to be on her period when she was to take her first pill. She was not. My question - should she stop taking them? Since it contains only a form of Progesterone and it does not usually cause blood pressure issues in most women. It's usually the ones that contain estrogen that cause blood pressure and heart rate elevations, according to FDA reports. However, the final decision is always up to you and your doctor as to its safety for you. I am a first time user to tri-sprintec bc. My pharmacist said my doctor recommended that I start taking the pills the Sunday after my period starts. However, I was wondering if I can start the pill at anytime? My period should be starting in two weeks or so, but it's very irregular.Will the bc pills still be effective after I take them for 7 consecutive days? I have been on the birth control aubra for 5 months and usually bled during my 7 day placebo week. However I recently changed brands to lo loestrin fe. I finished the whole pack and I have not gotten my period I'm a little nervous but I always took my pills on time and never missed one. I didn't spot or have any break through bleeding either. I have been religiously taking Lo Loestrin Fe for 3 years and I recently got strep throat and was prescribed Amoxicillin. I'm in the middle of my pack and on the second day of taking the antibiotic I started a period which I usually don't get. I had unprotected intercourse on the third day and I'm wondering if I can get pregnant from it or if it's worth taking Plan B?
