I have been on tri-sprintec for the past 6 months. I recently skipped the sugar pills, that way I wouldn't have my period for a special occasion. I started my new pack right away and this past week I have been bleeding, very lightly, but I was wondering is it normal to bleed if you skip the white pills and start a new pack right away? ## Yes, this can happen and is perfectly normal. I am on my second month of taking Angelique and have started bleeding like a dark discharge. Also quite emotional all the time. The only reason I wanted to go on this was because of my hot flushes. 2 wks ago i had a stroke, i am incredibly fit and eat healthy all my doc reports said they had no idea why at a the young age of 40, i would have a stroke. i have no health issues. i decided it's probably the pill since every side effect of any pill is blood clots and strokes. BINGO! I CALLED MY OB AND SHE SAID STOP IMMEDIATELY. i am also CALLING THE FDA # ON THE LOESTRIN SITE FOR THESE TERRIBLE SIDE EFFECTS. I am currently taking Tri Sprintec but currently ran out of refills. I was suppose to start my new pack sunday night but didn't get them until today which is wednesday. Should I start the new pack now or just wait until this sunday coming up to take them? ## You can start them, at any time, but it will take a week of taking the active pills, before they are effective at preventing pregnancy, so in the meantime, you should use a backup method of contraception. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, breakthrough bleeding, mood swings, and PMS-like symptoms. Is there anything else I can help with?

Hi, i have been using Oralcon pills for almost a month now and ever since i have abdominal pains. When i take pain killers the pain goes away for few minutes and comes back again. I cant stand for more than 10min, i can't bent and i can't even sit for a long time. Hello, i take tri-previfem. I have for a while now but last month I accidentally skipped my placibo pills and went straight to a new active pack. I had in implants put in about 8 days ago. I was spotting for the first two days and I have been bleeding for d last 6 days. It started out as light bleeding but it's getting heavier by the day. I had my baby almost 4 months ago and I haven't seen my period since then. I have been taking the Lolo birth control regularly and am at the end of my second package. Instead of my period I have been getting spotting. Is this normal or should I be worried about pregnancy? I typically take Sprintec around 830 PM. I took my pill last night and took my next pill today at 230 PM because I want to change the time that I take it. I regret taking it at this time and would rather take it in the morning. Since this first time that I am wanting to change is within the 24 hours how do I change it so I can take it in the morning, changing the time yet again. Hi, I have been taking this birth control for about 5 months and I am intimately active with my husband. The other night I took a white pill instead of the blue pill because it is by the bed side and I didn't turn a light on like a dummy.
