Can you tell mw what it is? ## The pills are birth control. The little white ones are the placebo and the blue ones are the actual birth control. It is not a controlled substance.
This past Friday I had a doctor visit and was just given birth control (mono-linyah) for the very first time. At the appt. i was told to take the first pill the first night I get my period. I got my period Monday so I took the first pill (which is the blue). After reading things online and talking with someone today (Wednesday), I'm concerned I already messed this up and since I'm on my period i should've taken the white pill (even the pill packet instructions don't say what color to take on your period). I'm really confused now and hope someone can help me. Should I finish taking the white pills til I'm done with my period and then start back on the blue pills? (I've only taken 3 so far) OR Should I keep doing what I was doing and stay taking the blue? ## No...

Wat is for this white round pill S25 in one side and LU in the other side i found wath its for and if is bad ## Hello, Kaylin! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Lupin Pharmaceuticals and they list it as being a 1.5 Fallback Solo tablet, which is an emergency contraceptive, also known as a morning after pill, used to help prevent pregnancy. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, cramping, and spotting. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Could that pill called s25 and lu on the other side prevent a pragnancy ?
This month I skipped the white pills so I wouldn't have my period. Instead of the white pills I went right to the new pack of blue pills. The sunday the white pills would have stopped, I started to spot, it's not a full period but it is annoying and has now been going on for a little more than a week. Is this normal, how long should the bleeding last, is is okay to be taking the blue pills while on my "period"??? ## Basically, your body was expecting that one week break from hormones and it didn't get it, you continued to take the hormone tablets. It is normal to have some spotting and breakthrough bleeding, when this occurs. I can't say how long it will last, for some people, it could be several weeks. And yes, it is okay to take them while you are having the bl...
Ok I just recently got on birth control about 4 days ago and I just thought about something. Before I took birth control my period always lasted around 3-4 days. Now that I'm on the pill, there are 7 white pills for your period.... arent the white pills just to keep you on track? like they dont protect you at all right? so do I have to take the white pills all 7 days...like if I end my period early, do I have to keep taking the white pills? Like if I start taking the white pills on sunday, get my period that day, and then it ends...say...thursday, do i just take the white pills still for the rest of that week or do I start taking the next blue pills? ## I am not very familiar with Sprintec, but I have been on Beyaz for years now which is a 24/4 birth control pill (24 active pills ...
I was diagnosed with PCOS. I have been taking mono-linyah since August. My doctor said I should not have a period but I have still been spotting non stop. I was instructed to only take the blue pills. Is this normal? ## Hello, Carrie! How are you? Yes, spotting can be a normal side effect for the first 3 months, or so, while your body is getting used to the medication, as reported by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, and PMS-like symptoms. If it continues past that time period, or if the bleeding becomes heavy, you should consult your doctor. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Between my second and third pack I started spotting. It has now been over 3 weeks of spotting every day. Is this a normal side effect? ## I have been taking Mono-l...
Hello, so I have been on this BC for 4/5 months i had to end up throwing a pack away because I've missed pills and i had my period in the middle of the month. Then i started a new pack and when I was supposed to start my period after the blue pills were completed I just had very light brown discharge not enough to use a tampon or pad. Now I started another pack and still just have the light brown stuff here and there and no period. However I have felt light cramping a few times. Is it normal that I missed my period because I had to restart and throw a pack away? ## Hello, Elle! How are you? Yes, that is normal, unless your doctor sees some cause for concern. When you're taking OCs, your period is actually caused by a hormonal withdrawal, the tablets for that week don't conta...

I did not want to switch my pharmacist literally gave me the generic without informing me! It wasn't until I got home later that day that I realized that it was different. I called and complained and 1st I got the excuse that the pharmacy hadn't been receiving any and then eventual I was told that maybe my insurance didn't cover it ( this is a cvs pharmacy tech guessing). Long story short I've been on mibelas for 2 months and hate it. I've been getting acne- annoying but I can get over that. Random itchy skin specifically my ankles, feet, random areas of the body itch ( I do not suffer from allergies. Extra moody/ emotional. The worst part currently is the migraines- I can not deal with this.my headaches are killing me- I can barely move my head or let out a cough witho
Updated in Mibelas 24 FeHi I'm looking for any help at all here. I have been on Implanon for almost three years now. It is my first one and I am due to have it taken out in two-three months time. I am here because I went to the bathroom and noticed some bright blood on the tissue. I had my period a few weeks ago and I have very irregular periods on Implanon. I can go months without getting any bleeding and when I do bleed it can last for about 2 weeks. I had practically no bleeding the first year I was on Implanon. I was surprised to see blood because I have had my period recent enough in the last 3 weeks or so but I'm not 100% because I am terrible for keeping track of it. The bleeding went almost straight away but then I noticed some brown discharge when I wiped. It was very thin and not heavy at all...
I know the white pills are inactive pills but do they contain any hormones in them? My bleeding is out of control and all I have is the white pills left. ## Which one do you take? Inactive pills do not contain any active ingredients, in most cases, hormonal or otherwise, according to the FDA. How long have you been taking them? How long have you been bleeding? ## Hi! What will happen if i forgot to take the last white contraceptive pills and i accidentally take the beige one
I began taking LoSeasonique almost 5 weeks ago. I began spotting 9 days ago. Today, the spotting got heavier, almost like i'm having a period. I know this is normal for the first three months of beginning the medication. How long can I expect the spotting/bleeding to last? ## There is really no way to say, medications can affect everyone differently, some people do not experience any side effects and others may experience them all. Have you tried consulting your doctor? ## SPOTTING AFTER TAKING PILLS? isn't normal or not? ## I switched from trigestrel to oralcon (which I've been using for 2 months). The first month of oralcon i got my period on the 7th day of the inactive pills and i was just spotting for 3 days. I always have protected intercourse and I take my pills on tim...

I thought wow I'm lucky , ofcourse i was not lols I started to bleed a full week than stop than two/weeks later bleed another full week this carried on for two months I saw my doctor and was told its just my body trying to get use to the Implant and let it be for atleast 6-7 months (from my calculations this was about my fifth) so idid I waited a full two months and it got completely worse I bled constantly for that whole two months no breaks or anything somedays it would be verry light so ithought it may...
Last month I accidentally took two pills in one day and the next time I just took one like nothing happened. When it was time to take this month's pack I waited and skipped a day to get back on track with the days. I usually get my period Monday night or Tuesday morning but it hasn't came yet. Am I going to get a period? ## Hello, Kay! How are you? Your hormone levels have likely been thrown off, a bit, by the doubling up and then skipping a day. It may take awhile for things to balance back out. Have you gotten your period, yet? You may skip, or it may come later. If you're very concerned, then you should speak to your doctor. The FDA lists the typical side effects of hormonal contraceptives as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, breakthrough bleed...
What day can i start taking a pill if i will switch to another pill? I took the last lady pill yesterday? Can i start taking yasmin on the sunday mark even if its not sunday? ## Yes, unless your doctor instructs otherwise, you can just make a clean switch from one to the other on the day you are due to start a new pack. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, spotting, and PMS-like symptoms. Are you on any other medications?
Hi. I'm currently using Althea pills and I wanted to switch on the Lady pill because it is much cheaper. When should I start taking the Lady pill? Thanks :) ## Unless your doctor instructs otherwise, you should be able to just make a clean switch from one to the other, when you finish your current pack of pills. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, spotting, headache, irritability, weight changes, and PMS-like symptoms. Is there anything else I can help with?
Been on jadelle for the last 2 years no side effects at all,but only for the irregular periods after every two months it comes for 2 weeks...please advice is it normal... ## Yes, that can occur when you use a hormonal contraceptive, according to NIH reports. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, mood swings, and PMS-like symptoms. Has there been any change? If it worsens, or if the bleeding becomes heavy, you should consult your doctor. Are you on any other medications?
