I have irregular periods, however want to become pregnant. Is it safe to take MALA-N? ## Hi, Sapna! Sorry about the problem you're having. Mala-N can help to regulate your cycle, but it is a hormonal contraceptive, so it prevents pregnancy. Thus, you won't be able to get pregnant while taking it. Has your doctor advised you to take it? It's really necessary to discover why your cycles are off, in order to find a solution. ## My doctor prescribed me Mala-N tablets for irregular periods. is it safe to use for regulating periods? I took my first pill yesterday and I woke up spotting or started my period. is this normal? ## Hello, KP! How are you? Did you start it the first day of menstruation or at some other point during your cycle? Have you been engaging in intercourse? If you start the first day of your period, then you are protected immediately, but if you start it at some other point, then backup contraception must be used for the first 7 days. I have taken OVERAL G thrice in a day for 6 days, as suggested by my doc. Now i am taking the same tab once in a day, but i am experiencing a few drops of blood instead of my full period. Is it severe? What should i do? Please advise me. Would this medicine control my periods? HEARTLY THANKFUL TO YOU. ## Hello, Raina! How are you doing? Well, if your doctor had you taking 3 of them a day for awhile, some breakthrough bleeding should be expected, since this is a hormonal contraceptive. And yes, it should help regulate your cycles, but it may take a couple months for your body to get used to the medication. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## Hallo doctor.I m 32yrs old. I have been taking this birth control for three months and have been pretty good about taking my pill every day at the same time (9:30pm) or the following morning if I forgot which has been only a few times. The first two months I got my period on the first white pill day but this month I'm on my third day of white pills with still no period. There were two days I missed pills this month. Should I take a pregnancy test or is this normal? Also, I do smoke. Should I even be taking this? ## Hello, Allie! How are you? It can be normal to have irregular bleeding for a few months, while your body is adjusting to the hormones in this oral contraceptive, however, as long as you've not completely missed taking any pills, it isn't likely that you're pregnant. If you did completely...

I had bleeding for almost a month and went to see a doc. I was tested positive for pregnancy in urine but nothing was found in ultrasound other then a tiny cyst in my womb. My doc prescribed ovral G drugs with 2 doses each day after meal for three days and one dose in a day for 19 days. I have started having my daily dose as prescribed and after two days of having the drug my bleeding stopped. I would like to know what is the drug used for and weather it has any sighteffect on my child incase if i am pregnant. Please help ## Ovral-G is a hormonal based contraceptive that's usually used to prevent pregnant, or to regulate a woman's menstrual cycle. Learn more oral contraceptive details here. I removed Jadelle because of the constant bleeding (moderate and heavy spoting everyday between period, and heavy bleeding during period) I kept it in for seven months hoping that my body would adjust, I also gained a lot of weight (due to changes in my eating habit which I associate with the controception). I removed the Jadelle inpant 7 days ago but continue to spot lightly everyday, how long with it take for this to stop...before the implant I had a normal flow (28 days cycle) like clock work. I am also still having those severe cramps. ## Hello, Valeisha! How are you doing? Are you still spotting? Did you remove the implants yourself, or did your doctor remove them? It could take a couple months, before your body starts to get back to norma and you experience your normal cycles, aga...

Hello, I have been taking Tri-Previfem for a couple of years now. Unfortunately, and as much as I don't want to admit it, I've had a record of missing anywhere from 1-4 pills in a row or missing 1-2 pills in a row and then taking them on time, but then missing another 1-2 pills in a row. As you can imagine, I've lost track and dont know if missing this many pills so on-and-off means I should just start a new pack every time. I realize I need to start taking these more regularly and find a way to stop forgetting. During my most recent pack, I think I missed somewhere between 3-4 days of pills in week 2, and on the day I remembered I took the first one I missed, the next day I took the second one I missed, and so on and currently I am almost done with the pack, but I am very b...

Hey there , im not 100% sure on how oralcon works . Do you just keep taking the white pill until your period starts(even if its more then 21 days) and then move to the red(when it starts) or take the pack accordingly even if your period has not finished or started as yet , i have been taking the white pill for a month and 2 weeks and i still have not started my period, is this because i have not started the red pill even though im not on my period? ## Hello, Sandy! How are you? When you're taking an oral contraceptive, your period is actually a withdrawal bleed, due to not having any hormones that week. So, you take the active tablets for 21 days, then the red for a week, to allow the withdrawal bleed (your period) to occur. Once finished with the red tablets, you go back to taking ...

Took a pill during week 3 around five hours late, and this Saturday, I had brown discharge with some light pink. Is this implantation bleeding? However, I took two pregnancy tests and they both came back negative. Is there any chance I could be pregnant as a result of the late pill? (False negative) ## If two tests came back negative, it is not likely that you are pregnant. But only a medical professional can confirm this. Usually, you have to be more than 12 hours for it to be considered a late pill, and 24 hours, before it is considered a missed pill, according to FDA information. The discharge and spotting can be normal side effects of taking hormonal contraceptives, or taking a pill a bit late. Has there been any change, yet? Did you get your full period? ## I got my period!! Thanks...

pl let me know how to use and side effects of b tab ## on which day of menstrual period to take this pill, after food or before food, day or night ## B-Gap is nothing more than an herbal product and is not actually proven to prevent pregnancy. If you do choose to risk using it, then you would have to follow whatever instructions are provided with the product. For a woman that wants to prevent pregnancy, please see your doctor and use a proven contraceptive method. Are there any other questions or comments? ## on which day of menstrual period to take this pill, after food or before food, day or night ## It's totally FAKE tablet. Hi there! It's my first time to use diane35 pills. After I completed the 21 tablets I stop taking it for 7 days as resting period. Within those days I haven't had my period. So on the 8th day I again started taking diane35 pills. But I noticed that Im having brown discharge but not too much. Should I stop taking the pill or still continue taking the scheduled pills? ## That can be a normal side effect of this oral contraceptive, according to NIH reports, the brown discharge is usually just old blood that was left in the uterus from the last time you had a period. Other typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, and PMS-like symptoms. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change? ## Hi Verwon! I have been taking Minastrin for over a year now and I'm pretty careful about not being sexually active around the time when I am taking the brown pills. Is the 'strength' of the brown pills less than the white ones? Do I have more of a risk of getting pregnant if I have sex the first day I take a brown pill? ## The brown pill is a completely different medication than the white pills, so they're not really weaker or stronger. They're used to help you track when to take the white pills next, placebos so to speak. They are ferrous fumarate, which is a form of iron. This is most likely used to give you a little extra iron during your period days, to replace the iron you may lose through the bleeding. I don't believe you have to take them if you don't want them, ...

I had a romantic weekend away and had intercourse several times this past labor day holiday. Our last day together he came inside of me because he knew I was going to take the pill. I didn't realize that I was in my prime fertile region, nor that I was on point for ovulation Saturday. Sunday morning I took the pill about 30 minutes after he came in me, an hour max had gone by. About four hours later we had a last quickie and he came in me again. I asked him if I should take another pill and he didn't think so. I didn't have any normal side effects from the plan B. I felt fine. On Tuesday I started experiencing fatigue and mood swings and extreme hunger. This alarmed me as I was pregnant once before in my previous marriage and had all of these symptoms almost immediately afte...

Ok so I just started the sprintec. If I'm on the white pills and want my period to stop, should I start on my blue bills again?? ## Hi Boo! U should really stick 2 the directions of taking the pill. Even though the white pills r 2 keep u on track, u should still take them. U want 2 keep your body on a schedule. Did u just start the pill, recently? If so, your periods could b off 4 a couple of months. Then, usually, the periods will slow down. Some women don't get their period, after a few months. Hope this info helps. ## To prevent your period, you'd basically have to let it not start, but going straight into a new pack of active pills and skipping the white ones. It is usually perfectly to safe to do, once in awhile, unless your doctor gives you some reason not do. There ar...
