I am on my 4th week of my 2nd pack of Sprintec 28 pills (the white pills) My 1st pack, I only took 3 white pills, up to Tues, had my period 4 days, then started my NEW (2nd) pack Sunday Nov 27. I'm 18/yrs old, usually fit and healthy. Was told that I should have replaced my implant months before the actual expiry date which is of November this yr & have booked an appointment for June. Lately I've been feeling the urge to vomit (especially after eating, when eating, quite often through out the day), needing to go to the bathroom a lot, weight gain recently (usually stay the same weight), feeling heavier on my lower tummy and lack of energy. My doctor told me to take my first pill as soon as my period strted, how long till it is effective ? ## I started Loestrin 24 Fe this month. I just finished my second week, meaning I am halfway through my first pack. Last night I had sex with my boyfriend, and we used a condom as backup. But the condom broke, and he said he ejaculated before he pulled out. The info sheet that came with my birth control says that the birth control should have been effective after the first 7 days, so I should be fine. But I also see people saying its not effective until the second pack. I started taking sprintec about 14 months ago, a month or so before i got married, to help my body adjust. And im pretty good about taking pills on time. I'll be a little late taking one every now and then, but i usually remember to take it within a few hours. Anyway, i just finished my first row of pills in a new pack, but since the end of my last period, and maybe even just before my period, my body has been feeling strange, off. My breasts arent particularly sore, but they feel, tight? And itchy. I feel nauseated and dizzy, my head feels cloudy. And my stomach feels odd, as if i can feel the stomach acid in it. Hello guys! I have PCOS and my doctor prescribed me primolut 5mg 1 pill daily for 5 days! I have been taking them for three months. I missed 1 period before I started them due to a horrible side effect on birth control. As a result, my dr. Suggested taking primolut 5m. The first month I started them, I got my period on day 7. The second month I got it on the 6th or 7th day however, I was spotting very dark brown color (almost black) for 5days then I had heavy period for another 5 days. I think that’s because I missed one period one month earlier so my body was getting rid of the old blood. i have only been taking this pill for 9 days i have extremely tender breasts it feels like they are heavy and full of milk. anyone else have this?? ## Yes, very heavy like milk laden. They look great but hurt to touch or even put on bra. This started at day 32 (2nd pack) of chantix. I have quit so am thinking about cutting down on the chantix. ## This can happen with birth control pills and some other drugs as well. i have had my Jadelle for about 2 yrs now and have had horrible periods since the first time it got put in.. they are so heavy and clotty its almost like my placenta is tearing away. ## Sorry about the problems you're having. Jadelle contains a synthetic form of Progesterone and it can cause those types of side effects in some people that use it. Generally, it's because it has stopped your body from producing enough natural progesterone. Have you consulted your doctor? I took 2 ipills last month and deviry for 10 days this month to get my periods. I've also got pollycystic ovaries. It's been 13 days since my last deviry tablet but I have not got my periods yet. Hi, I had irregular periods problem from the time i matured. I took treatment but that was never cured. Now I am married for 4 months. I met a gynaecologist in Apr and she put me on Dronis 20 to regularise my periods but when i started the tablets from the 1st day of my periods and completed all the 24 tablets but my periods has not stopped for 29 days now. i had trapic MF in between for 3 days (10 tabs),to stop but it never helped.
