Bipolar And Cilift
UpdatedCan you use Cilift if you have bipolar? Will there be any side effects?

All medications carry the risk of side effects, even over the counter products.
Cilift contains the active ingredient Citalopram, it is an SSRI antidepressant, which can also be used to treat anxiety, however, it is doubtful that it will help with the mood swings that are associated with BiPolar disorder. Did your doctor advise you to use it?
Side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, weight gain and dry mouth.
