hi, I bought a generic version of benadryl and when I was taking a couple today I noticed that a couple of the pills where slightly darker than the rest and when I looked at the numbers they didnt match, c 22 with a blank back is on most of them (which is the benadryl I assume) but then there was also s4 or 54 (hard to tell) with blank back on a couple of them. I dont know if they are the same thing and just different markings or if they are different pills altogether, help? ## From what I could gather, a pink pill imprinted with "C22" is identified as Diphenhydramine hydrochloride (25 mg); whereas I haven't found any specific details whatsoever on a pink pill marked with S4 or 54. The manufacturer of "C22" is said to be: UltraTab Laboratories Learn More: Diphenhydra...

I use a new marry Kay night serum now one side. of my face is all red and wellped up. it stings like it's on fire and is itchy and sensitive to touch. benadryl and hydrocortisone cream aren't. working if you have any suggestions I would realty appreciate it. ## With the stinging, it seems like it may have caused some skin burning and, if that is the case, then no, the creams you're trying won't help, because they are intended to treat straight allergic reactions. Have you tried anything like an aloe vera cream, or something intended to treat sunburn? Learn more aloe vera details here. Infection is a big concern, if it burned the skin as I suspect, thus I strongly encourage you to see a doctor, as you may need an antibiotic.

If the marry kay serum is what caused it, then it only makes sense to consider switching to another brand with either less ingredients or with different more natural ingredients all-together. As far as treating the skin irritations, I'd suggest lavender essential oil. It works really well for that burning sensation you mentioned, as well as for any inflammation...

swollen eyes with big red circles arounds eyes that swell, and skin rash type of symptom in that area -- very itchy, skim peels, eyes water, some face swelling as well. Like a hyper hystamine effect of some kind? Benadryl and others don't work. ## The symptoms definitely sound like allergic reactions, but you do have to be very careful, the peeling skin can be the sign of it causing a very serious medical issue that could be life threatening. Learn more Opioid details here. Have you consulted your doctor? Is this a new medication that you're taking? Or has the pharmacy given you pills from a new manufacturer? Have you taken antibiotics recently?

What is the price for one of these on the streets? ## You didn't specify what medication you are asking about. A light pink, oblong pill could describe over the counter Benadryl, which has no value whatsoever, except for the $3.50 you pay for a box of it. In addition, street values of anything can vary from area to area, depending on supply and demand, plus selling anything in such a manner is illegal. Are there any questions or comments?

i took 2 small pink pills of a gemeric benadryl once yesterday and the day before at night will this cause a dirty ua today ## There is no way to say that it will definitively cause a false positive, but the Diphenhydramine has been known to cause them for PCP. Are there any other questions or comments?

Pink pill ETX on one side and BE on the other side and it's round ## I'm not certain which product this is, but the ETX is used on several over the counter medications. With the BE on it, I have a suspicion that it's meant to be an off brand of Benadryl, which contains the active ingredient Diphenhydramine, but as I said, this is not a definite answer. Does anyone recognize this tablet?

I have had 2 anaphylactic shock episodes due to ER visits with Benadryl in my IV. Allergist tested...allergic to Benadryl. I am on MANY meds and many have hydrochloride in them and some have diphenhydramine in them. If I am allergic to benadryl, would it be to the Diphenydramine, or the hydrochloride side? Thank you! ## It would be the Diphenhydramine that you have to stay away from. The Hydrochloride just designates the chemical salt that a medication was derived from, so you will actually see that listed on many different medications. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thanks for your comments. I appreciate it!

Pink pill with V in a oval & 25 on other side is a generic Benadryl .... 100% positive! ## Thanks for sharing this information! I was also able to confirm this pill to be 25 mgs of Benadryl (Diphenhydramine). Generally, over the counter medications like this don't show up in the prescription drug databases, so it's really helpful to have other users post this for verification. You can view a detailed description of Diphenhydramine by visiting the link below... Hopefully this helps anyone looking for more information.

I have one more problem. Alergic Sinusitis. Is there any connection between these two problems ## I'm sorry, but no one is going to be able to diagnose the problem and offer treatment options from just a short post on the Internet. I went to the emergency room last week to get water drained from my elbow, the doctor gave me dicloxacill 500mg and said take this four times daily. After 1 week my chest looked red and I felt very tired. I stopped taking the medicen and took some benadryl per the er nurse. How long before the redness on my chest clears up? ## It is very hard to say, it could take several days. Since Dicloxacillin is an antibiotic, there are two possibilities for the cause of the reaction you had. One is a normal side effect of most antbiotics, they can cause a skin rash, but it is not an allergic reaction and will usually disappear when you have finished or stop taking the medication. The second, of course, is an allergic reaction. My guess is that if it didn't go away with the Benadryl, it was mor...

small neon pink oval pill with a capital V on one side and the number 25 on the other side ## Is that the complete imprint? I can't find anything listed with these markings in our prescription drug resources. Was it found in the U.S. or elsewhere? With that description and marking, I am guessing that this is probably something available over the counter, there are many store brands and generics of Benadryl that are in a bright pink color. There is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication.
