Beline Capsules

I have ankylosing spondylitis and have been taking Beline capsules for nine months with remarkable results. I am largely pain free with an all round feel good benefit. Even a very long standing skin rash has disappeared. When I stop taking them the pain returns quite noticeably. Nonetheless I have strong reservations about herbal medications and intend to consult with my Rheumatologist shortly. Pity!!!

My wife started Beline Capsules recently for her arthritis with remarkable almost instantaneous relief. I ordered them from the UK and it took forever for them to get to Colorado. Where do you get yours? I share your concern about possible interactions with other drugs and possible negative consequences.

It's good to hear that they are successfully helping some people.

As to purchasing them, the company states on its website that they can only be ordered directly through them, so it appears there aren't any other options to get them any sooner.

And yes, they are an herbal product and unfortunately this means that its side effect profile has not been studied, nor has its possible interactions with other medications.

The ingredients list is:

I too have started to take Beline for Polymyalgia Rheumatica and experienced v good results within 48 hours. The only thing I have noticed is that my Blood Pressure seems to rise when taking them. I currently take Wester medicine for my BP and have not stopped. Has anyone else experienced the same?. I showed them to my doctor who did not think they should have much effect on the BP but I am naturally suspicious of something about which we know very little!

Flo, the real problem with these types of products is that they are not tested to discover what the side effects are, so there is no way of knowing what effect it will have on you and it is highly possible that one or more of the ingredients in it may cause fluctuations in your blood pressure.

Since most products don't reach their full effectiveness in the body until around 4 to 6 weeks of use, a raise in your blood pressure could be a problem, because that has probably not peaked out, yet. That means it may make it go even higher, which could be dangerous. In this case, I'd be very reluctant to continue using them.

Many thanks for the replies. I am treating the product with extreme caution and have my own BP monitor and will certainly not take it on a regular basis. What a shame that something which does so much to relieve the pain and discomfort cannot be matched by traditional medicine. I have been struggling with Prednisolone for 5 years now and thought beline might be the answer!

I've been taking Beline Capsules for 2 years now. So far the results have been very good, and no side effects. I make it a habit to take it before i go for blood tests, my results has been positive so far. I hope the MHRA does not take this good product away.

May, thank you for posting that information.

For others who didn't click on the link and read the information, Beline has been found to contain 2mgs of Chlorpheniramine, which is an antihistamine, used to treat allergies.

In the U.S. this dosage is commonly available over the counter, however, they do not list this as being in the capsules and for people that are allergic or sensitive to it, it may cause some problems, like dizziness, drowsiness, blurred vision and nausea.

If you have been taking this product, you should stop using it and contact your doctor. Even though Chlorpheniramine can be purchased over the counter in some countries, there are safe and non-safe ways to use it, so you may have been taking more than the safe amounts, if you were taking these capsules frequently or taking a lot of them, at once.

I've been wheelchair bound for many years due to severe arthritis. Having taken Beline Capsules for over a year, my arthritis has been remarkably relieved and am even able to attempt some short walks on my own now. I too have not encountered any side effect till date. Hope that I will be able to continue purchasing this supplement.

Je viens sur ce forum témoigner de mon expérience. Je prends ces capsules Beline depuis 6 mois pour une spondylarthrite très importante. Très vite après la prise de ce médicament, les douleurs de ma sacroilléite avaient disparu, mes genoux avaient désenflé et je ne souffrais plus. Par contre j'ai remarqué des effets secondaires : hausse de ma tension artérielle au début du traitement qui s'est arrangée par la suite, tout en continuant à prendre des médicaments pour la tension, crampes dans les pieds très fortes. Les analyses ont décelé qu'il y avait un anémie très forte par manque de fer. Après supplémentation en fer, les crampes ont disparu. Je surveille. J'ai eu de petites veines supercielles qui ont éclaté aux jambes. J'ai dû porter des bas de contention.ça c'est stabilisé en prenant de la teinture mère Vitis Vinifera. A part ça, je n'ai rien observé d'autre, sinon que je marche normalement, je mène une vie absolument normale et que les avantages de ce remède sont bien plus importants que leurs inconvénients.

When I stopped taking Beline I suffered very bad side effects which made me feel so ill I had to start taking them again and reduce the dosage gradually over a period of two months. These capsules are extremely potent and clearly contain substances much more significant than just an antihistamine.

Graham, regardless of what a medication contains, it is normal for your body to get used to having the substance and, if you have been taking it for a long period of time and suddenly stop, you will experience withdrawal effects.

This will happen even with regular common substances that you ingest regularly, such as your morning coffee or orange juice.

Stopping anything suddenly, that you have been using for a long period of time, can result in symptoms, such as: nausea, dizziness, chills, diarrhea, joint/muscle aches and others.

Thus, it is never advisable to just stop something, cold turkey. Whenever you are going to change a habit, of any type, it's best to taper it, slowly.

The message in French from Didou was interesting in that I also saw a big drop in my red blood cell count whilst on the beline, I also took iron suplements which improved my levels. I do have a concern about what else may be in this product as it looks like they are not 100% herbal as claimed

Verwon, the producers of this product claimed it contained only natural products.What other serious prescription products are in these capsules? I know of many people who continue to take them because of their effects, in spite of the foregoing. What are the Singaporean Health Authorities doing? I did not experience orange juice withdrawal, these are hugely POTENT and still on sale!

Graham, the only current information that I can find only lists that one undeclared drug ingredient, Chlorpheniramine, was found in them according to the testing.

Such things are actually very common with a many of these foreign supplement products, because few other countries regulate them as strictly as the U.S. and Canada does, so they can usually get away with it for quite a long time.

Recently there have been several Chinese herbal supplements that are claimed to help with insomnia, nervousness, anxiety and etc. that were found to actually contain Benzodiazepines, along with their herbal ingredients.

As to what, if anything, the authorities in Singapore are going to do, I can't answer that question. We are based in the U.S., so I have no information on it.

I have taken Beline capsules for 7 month now all my pain diappeared rapidly but I have noticed that my blood presure has rised specially the high one, lately my throat i starting to tease me, haes and slimy.

I'm curious about your throat symtpons. I"ve been on Beline 9 mos and recenlty have experienced bruising and leg and arm cramps. I also seem tohave developed a chronic post nasal drip. Other than that the product is a life saver

i agree totaly i was the same 5 years in pain now i live apain free life thanks to beline with no side affects to many people want to put this product down why dont people take a real look at what this can do unlike convenstional medicine doing nothing has any one out there heard any thing really bad about this product iv tried but nothing bad

Where and who do you order them from? I get them from Focus HR ES and they took well over 6 months before I started complaining and then didn't even bother answering my emails or phone calls. So I really would like to get them from somewhere else.

I have a small blood pressure machine I purchased from the chemist, it's easy to use daily if necessary. My pain level is a constant 8-10, but with Beline my level is 2-3 so for me it's a no brainer. Just monitor your blood pressure, if you are concerned. My blood pressure has not changed!
