I'm allergic to bactrim with sulfer can I take bio-flex ## There is a risk that you could be allergic to other sulfa substances, especially since being allergic to one increases your risk of being allergic to others, as reported by the NIH. I found out that I am allergic to Bactrim, but I've taken these supplements without problems in the past and I take some sulfa based blood pressure medications without issues, but not all. Thus, I think it would be best to consult your doctor first, for your own safety. Are you allergic to any other medications?

Recently, I suffered a severe allergic reaction to Bactrim DS, with itchy hives and welts all over my entire body not to mention I have bone cancer. I have swelling in my face on one side and feel like my ears are sounding like I'm in a tunnel and in pain. I have 10 pills. It says take twice a day. Also prescribed 5mg oxycodone tabs for pain. First day I felt fine after taking the Bratrim ds generic and the pain pills helped my pain. The second day i woke with a little more swelling and a headache and feeling a little nausea. I was prescribed Bactrim for an acute urinary infection. After taking it for thee days I am getting a rash. Should I stop? And what should I take for the rash? ## Yes stop. I noticed a small lump behind my left ear Sunday. ByThursday, it was large, red, and very painful. My earlobe was swollen as well. Then I noticed the tenderness starting down the left side of my neck. I saw my Dr. yesterday and was diagnosed with cellulitis. She gave me Bactrim 800-160 twice daily. I took my two doses yesterday. When I woke this morning, my earlobe looks like it's gonna pop, the lump is no smaller and instead of just tenderness in the neck, there's swelling between the jaw and earlobe. My friend has Aids and have been taking Bactrim for a long period of time. I read some side effects of Bactrim and he has all of them. aching joints, swelling, nausea, rashes sometimes. Sounds like he needs to be on a preventative treatment but this particular antibiotic can be pretty tough on the body. Cellulitis in middle finger at first knuckle. It may have an infected cyst. 2 days after Bactrim I switched to cephalexin for 7 days, then went back to Bactrim due to blood culture results 9 days later (90 to 95% cured but lingering). My doctor told me it would be ok to take these two drugs together. They both state that nausea can be a side effect. When I was taking the Bactrim I had no symptoms but the day I took both, my stomach hurt for three days and of course I did not take another vyvanse since.
