Aztor 10 Should I Continue Or Not

Iam was taking aztor 10 for 2 years daily as prescribed by my cardiologist.The Doctor advised me to continue taking Aztor 10 through out. He also advised me for 4 kms walk ever day.
I started parcticising Suryanamaskaram & Practiced yoga and lost 7 kg body weight though iam not overweight and my LDL and Total Cholesterol is within the limits. I stopped taking Aztor 10. will my Cholesterol level increase. should i continue Aztor 10 even if my Cholesterol level and LDL is in control

Aztor contains the active ingredient Atorvastatin and is commonly used to help lower cholesterol.

Yes, in many cases these medications are still continued, even after cholesterol levels have returned to normal. The reason for this is because, they can start rising, again, if the medication is stopped. Usually once your body has started building up such high levels, it will continue to do so and diet and exercise are not always enough to keep it low.

i was taking aztor due to high cholestrol for 2 weeks now i consulted another doctor and he has told me to stop aztor and take rosuvas 10 instead is it okt tostop one and take the other

I was having LDL 121 and HDL40, fasting sugar 120-130. My doctor advised me to take cardic 2.5 and astor 40 intially along with glycipage SR 500. Within a week time I used get abnormal symptom of drowziness, body pain, loss of weight. I contacted my doctor and consulted one of my family doctor at my native. He asked me to test creatinin with uric acid in blood. He suggested me to continue with cardic 2.5 and astor 10mg along with glycipage SR 500. after taking 3three and half months I lost weight of 12 kg. I stopped taking these cardic and astor for the past 10 days but continuing with glycipagesr . Now I am feeliing comfortable and I feeling healthy and put up some weight. Please advice me whether I need to continue with thest medications or I can stop.

I AM USING BP TAB DIALY ONE.DOCTOR CHECKED UP BLOOD LDL AND HDL JUST ABOVE NORMAL.DOCTOR SUGESTED ME TO USE AZITOR 20MG AND ECHOSPRIN DIALY.PLEASE SUJEST ME .I AM WALKING 1HR.DIET ONLY VEG TAKING

It is my considered opinion that
1. Yog & Pranayam has the Power to maintain Cholesterol under control if done very very regularly.
2. Please stop the medicine for 3 months and ensure that Lipid profile is done before and after 3 months.
3. Ensure strict Diet control using structured approach.
4. Manage the Daily Stress and Meditate Daily for 20 minutes.
5.Reduce the dose if necessary and continue the process of self monitoring.
I am 58 and doing all this after surviving Heart Attack.
Do not forget to take second opinion of cardiologist.

Avoid any oils of any kind in your food. A vegetarian diet with oil is equally bad. It is the oil in the food that causes the cholesterol levels to rise. So exercise by walking distance of 4kms in 45 minutes at least 5 times a week. God bless you.

I am 41 years old. My ecg reports and tmt doctor indicate ecg-oce vpls, tmt + and advised to me do an angiogram which will I do next month. Dr. prescribed betaloc 25, to be taken 2 times per day and ecosprin 75, aztor 20 mg per day. Previously I took bp medicine called tenocab 25mg. Why does my heart beat vary? Sometimes it's 107, sometimes 85 or 65. Can betaloc control heart beat variation? Does being tmt positive mean that my heart is experiencing blockage? Pls kindly advise me. {edited for privacy}

My age is 41.After viewing report ecg,echo,TMT doctor indicate on prescription Vpls ,TMT+ & prescribed betaloc 25mg 1+0+1 ,Aztor 10mg ,Ecoasprin 75mg. Also advise to do angiograpy but I can test yet anography. I feel anxity anythong showing indicate wrong in my report ? Pls advise
