Hi, I have high cholestrol levels. My doctor has prescribed me AZTOR 20mg. I have been taking Lipicure 10 for a month now to lower my cholesterol. It was 265 and now its 180. Is it advisable to discontinue the medication as my cholesterol levels are back in the normal? ## Have you also made changes to your diet to help lower your cholesterol and are you making sure that you're getting enough exercise? I have been taking atorvastatin 20mg and metfomin for the last 3 weeks. I feel some sort of dizziness almost every day. but not severe. Also I like to eat some grape fruit m maybe 3 - 5 full fruit . I have seen many articles on net say grape fruit will interact with atorvastatin when taken in juice form more than 1 liter a day. I dont know how to determine on this intake. I jst like to eat some grape fruits only. Can you please advise..

Found on floor of my vanity room. It's approx 3/4 of inch long with ATV40 on one side and APO on the other side. Hope it's not dangerous as I have small grandchildren in my home. ## This tablet is manufactured by Apotex Corp. and they list it as containing 40mgs of Atorvastatin, which is used to help lower cholesterol levels. The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and joint/muscle aches. It would be best to sweep up and make sure no others are scattered about, as it could be too much for a small child. Is there anything else I can help with?

I just wanted to know whether aztor 10mg and torvacol 20mg are the same (containing atorvastatin)? And how long can u take them? Found 1/2 blue pill coated (white inside) imprinted with "10" on one side. It's more of an elliptical shape than oval. ## Oddly enough I found a white, elliptical, film-coated tablet imprinted with "10" that's identified as Atorvastatin 10mg; a medication used for lowering cholesterol. I wonder if the manufacturer could've changed its color to blue at some point? As we know, manufacturers can alter the appearance of their drugs without any prior notice to the public, so this is something I'd consider investigating just to be sure. Unfortunately I haven't been able to determine who the manufacturer is. However I will be sure to post back if or when I do. Me and my husband we trying to have a baby and he is taking the lipogen atorvastatin every night, will they not stop him to get me pregnant, will they not effect his fertility?? ## Hello, Makay! I have run out of my prescription for Atorvastatin and had decided to start eating healthier and excercising. Unfortunately i cant afford to return to my doctor for advice on stipping the atorvastatin. Is it okay to stop Atorvastatin 10 mg cold turkey? ## Hello, Hart16! How are you? Novo: just a oval pill with an imprint that says novo with no number or anything else on it AV40: smaller oval pill with AV40 imprinted on one side and a arrow like shape inprinted on the reverse side both are white ## Hello, Cody! Good day, I have been on Zuvamor 40mg for almost a year now, wasn't feeling well so they changed it to Storwin 40mg. Stil not feeling better. I am 79 yrs old & had been in excellent health until a heart attack in January 2014 requiring 3 stints. Then in early April I had a mild stroke & 1 week later had 2 seizures-wherein I fractured a vertabrae & had kyphoplasty. I take atorvastatin 20mg (1 daily)clopidogrel 75 MG (1 daily) metformin 500 mg, Lisinopril 10 mg (1 daily) and just started Levetirecta 500 mg- twice daily. I have begun to have excruciating stomach aches. Stomach Xray & ultra sound revealed no internal organ issues.
