I am a heart patient. My cholesterol is under controlled by taking one tab of above in the evening after food/fruits. I am also under treatment for diabetis (two tabs of 30mg Diamicron MR in the morning}. I still suffer from pins and needles in my lower legs especially when I walk or do light exercise/swim. I am also on Casprin 100mg and high blood pressure pill (Atenolol 100mg daily). Is the combined "mix" OK? ## I'm sorry, what medication did you mean by one tab of the above? The atenolol med I am taking is manufactured by Ranbaxy and has the letters and number inscribed on the pill RE 20. I just started taking and am getting severe adverse reactions. Previously was taking atenolol manufactured by Geneva/Sandoz and did not have any reactions for the last eight years. I pharmacy says they are OK'd by the FDA. Cost savings. One of my Doctor prescribed Aten 25mg for Migraine. He asked me to take when ever I feel starting sympems of Migraine. My doctor just discontinued the clonidine and added 5mg of amlodipine with the 50mg of atenolol. This works great until about 7 or 8 pm and my pressure starts climbing.
