It is a small,white, round, flat, uncoated pill with 19 on one side and RE on the other side manufactured by Ranbuxy.

Yes, this is a 25mgs Atenolol tablet, generic for Tenormin, used to help lower blood pressure.

Some of the most common side effects include: drowsiness, headache and nausea.

Atenolol - Has anyone experienced side effects that are different for different manufacturers of Atenolol? I started using a tablet manufactured by Raxyban & am
having side effects I didn't experience before on a trial
of Atenelol by another manufacturer.

Atenolol - I have been using Mylan for 10 years.50 mg twice a day and my refill was for Ranbaxy.Drugist said same thing no difference. Said they didn't have Mylan any longer. Have had very sick stomach since. Found Mylan elsewhere.

I have the same problem and have found that some companies put sodium laurel sulfate as an inactive ingredient in their atenolol. Its a degreaser and is usually found in shampoo and driveway cleaner. Cosmetic companies also use it as a skin irritant to test out new products.

My mom has been using Mylan Atenolol and changed to Ranbaxy. She is feeling strange and not normal. Here blood pressure has been up. Having to take blood pressure for 8 days to see if there is an issue. May be needing to go back to mylan

yesss go back to Mylan if you can get it ... .. I use mylan 50 mg . but cant get it so they gave me 25 s mg now from a company called major. Junk !! Dizzy and have headaches.

I have been taking ""Atenonol "" 50 mg once a day since 1985 mine was mylan ..m front 231 on back so now CVS gave me refill its called Atenonol manufacturer is TEVA i am so scared i need take them at end month i have called so many drug stores they said mylan is backordered they font know when release date is .i have severe anxiety this causing so much stress i wonder also will Teva be different and cant miss a dose i wish i l ew frug store still haf mylan ,i have ocd this is driving me crazy what can one do .. i get palpitations so i tryed so hard find frug store has mylan nothing can teva be trusted i hoohlef it saw few years back their recall on atenonol now i lost trust

Hi mary ann i am having same issue i take Atenonol 50 mg mylan at least 20 yearsv now frug store refilled mine says TEVA 50 mg scared take that brand few days i will be out mylan trying find drug store carrys mylan no luck so cant go without have take it everyday

I have notice a big difference in the different manufacturers of Atenolol! I am really upset about it.

Last year when they stopped making Atenolol I was put automatically on Metoprolol and got extremely sick with high blood pressure, chest pain and now I have memory loss! Doctors haven't even cared. After stopping Metoprolol because of it making me sick, I went to hospital for being sick. Hospital and doctors found nothing wrong. Then they put me back on Atenolol and I was so much better. BUT then in 2 months the pharmacy changed the Atenolol manufacturers Twice and I can see a huge difference in the manufacturers. I can feel palpitations every day and I got sick one day so bad I went to doctor's office and pulse was 135 and oxygen down to 91 shortness of breath and extreme fatigue. Doctor's didn't find anything wrong. So, now I live with never knowing what's going to happen and no one believing me.

Is there anyone experiencing this?
