What is this pill is it ara and 16 mg ## Hello, Nabil! How are you? I have tried 5 different Blood Pressure Medications. All are giving me side effects of depression, loss of energy, trouble concentrating, joint pain, swelling, weight gain. Anyone here know of a Blood Pressure Medication with few side effects? ## Hello, Julie! How are you? I understand what you're going through. I rant the gamut of them myself, it took about a year to finally find ones that worked for me, without making me totally miserable. Thus, the ones I suggest you speak to your doctor about are Atacand and Labetalol, with the latter being known to cause the least side effects. You may still experience some, short-term, such as nausea, dizziness and headache, but they usually wear off after a few weeks, as your body gets used to the medication. Is there anything else I can help...

Found a peach capsual tablet with C on the one side and S | 1 on the other side what is this ..... Crying out for help right now ## Based on the description provided, the closest match I could locate is an oblong-shaped peach pill marked with an "A" on one side of a score line and "CS" on the other. The opposite side is blank with an additional score line as well. This particular pill is identified as Atacand HCT (candesartan 16 mg + hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg); used in the treatment of hypertension. Do you happen to have any additional information on where you found this tablet or who it was purchased from? This information could also provide more clues as to what type of drug it might be. Two doctors have told me to take atacand 8mg, lisinopril 5mg, and metroprol succ. 25mg for my slightly high blood pressure. Do they do the same thing is this overkill? sjr ## I honestly believe that taking those 3 different medications for 1 condition is a 'prescription overkill' as I like to call it. There are many natural alternatives for Blood Pressure control that in my opinion can be just as effective as prescription medication, with little to no side effects. I personally had high blood pressure, but was able to control it by controlling my eating habits and exercising.
