My father was in rehab and he has copd and they did not give him his tudorza at all and only gave him his symbicort 2 times. He is home now and his oxygen level is dropping more. Could not taking his inhalers cause his copd to worsen? ## There is a chance that it could, though there is also a chance that it has worsened on its own, due to the nature of the condition, according to the NIH. Why didn't they give him his inhalers? Is he back on them, now? Is he on any other medications?

Had asthma my whole life, never too bad. Got hives real bad 8 years ago. Xolair is working great for the hives. I have my life back. However, my asthma seems worse. It's hard to tell if it's from the xolair or not. Only side effect I've had is a dislike for alcohol which is fine for me, but it could be another use for this medication. ## As reported by the FDA, there is a chance that it might cause that, though it is very rare. Other more typical side effects may include dizziness, headache, back pain, fever, and hair loss. What medications do you use for the asthma?

Found these in my kids room. Would like to know what they are before confronting him. It's a small round white pill. No markings on one side and the other is just scored to be broken in 4ths. Any ideas? Thank you so much for any help. I'm lost. ## In other related discussion threads here, a pill with this same description has reportedly been identified as a "white-cross energy" tablet containing ephedrine. There have also been reports here of this pill description linked to amphetamine 10mgs (from Mexico). The problem I'm seeing is that because the description is so vague, it ends up fitting the description of more than one medication and/or supplement. That said, I think your best bet would be to have its contents analyzed by a lab and/or drug panel for 100% verific...

Are there any other questions or comments? ## Any side effect montarelucast with doxiphylline and with phynilpropaline or suduphaddine or ambroxil or cetrizine taking in a day or taking same time. Taking it approx 50 years, I just take it as prescribed and space it between other medications. It has worked like a charm. I've gone off of it (due to assorted doctors) only to found out, NOTHING WAS BETTER. The FDA wants to pull it b/c it's less expensive as the ones they advertise on ATV. It's a huge, misfunctioning institution, pharm co's, many doctors, and media...hence 'The Evil Empire". It's about money, not health. Who pays for those fancy commercials? You! ## Primatene pills are a really good Rx for my Asthma too.

Small Square White Pill B P On One Side 40 On The Other Any Ideas What This Could Be? Looked Everywhere Cannot Seem To Figure Out What It Could Be. Thanks ## My brother gave them to me as a type of workout/weight-loss assistant. He said they made him very jittery, but don't all work-out supplements? I guess they're prescription strength though, and that's about all I can tell you. I googled them to find out more myself. Good luck! ## They are clenbuterol. It's prescribed for asthma patients. In the world of body building people take them for it's side affect. They burn body fat. That's where the jitters came from. Split the tab and take half 2x a day and work up to a full. ## That is also what I've found it listed as, 40mcgs Clenbuterol, which is used to trea...

Last week DSS came out because someone called and they sent me to do a drug test Thursday. This will be my 8th DSS investigation in the past few years and my 3rd DSS investigation just this past year. I have been hair and urine tested with all of them and passed negative and the cases have been closed. Now yesterday they called with the results of this drug test and said that I tested positive for methamphetamine! I've never done that drug! I told her I had never done that and she asked if I had been around anyone who had and I explained that my ex boyfriend had been using for awhile behind my back and I was unaware. But when I found out i moved me and the children out of the home which was almost a month ago. She said she had heard of cases where someone fails for exposure. I also ...

I've been off of it for a month now and I still have some of my symptoms, joint pain, pounding ears, swollen ankles, etc. My hoarseness disappeared after about 2 weeks or so. Drink lots of water. ## How long we're you taking it? If it was for a long period of time, it may take 6 weeks or so, for it to completely process out of your body. ## I took 80/4.5 for 1 year. I had been on 160/4.5 for 3 weeks because my asthma was not controlled at the lower dose. I woke up and my left eye socket hurt as though someone had punched me in it. I'm seeing a doctor next week because of severe leg pain I'm having that can't be from anything else except the Symbicort. I'm in my 40's and I am healthy. ## I've been on symicort for 3 yrs. now and the only adverse symptom I h...

I have a patient on a trial with it, and now she has hypercalcemia. Could this be due to the med or do I have to investigate other causes. I cannot tell her or her specialist, otherwise I risk wrecking the double blinding. But doing nothing may delay diagnosis of something ominous. any advice? ## I'm sorry, but I haven't been able to find this as a side effect by either the FDA, or the manufacturer. The typical ones are listed as possibly including headache, back ache, and fatigue. Is the patient on any other medications?

I took tedral from the age of 10 through adulthood. I Have never been able to complete anything. My ability to focus is severly limited. The drug always made me very hyped and anxious. And the condition seemed to remain throughout my life. I get exited very easily and my adrenalin levels go through the roof. I often felt that my present condition was caused by this drug and often wondered why it was so quietly taken off the market. I later developed addiction to stimulants such as cocaine, crystal methamphetamine. Those substances produce much of the same effects as tedral and marax. I believe that most of my emotional problems in life were tired the side effects of these drugs that set my central nervous system on fire. ## You are not alone. Please advise what Deriphyllin M is used for? I am suffering from the hep-c virus. ## Hello, Sumitra! How are you? Received this pill from a major mail order US pharmacy. Now my sense of smell has changed. Are the identification codes/description for Montelukast sodium? Tan square pill 725 on one side, R on other side ## Hello, Bob! How are you? Yes, this tablet contains 10mgs of Montelukast, which is most commonly used for the maintenance treatment of asthma. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Bob, just to add to Verwon's post, the pill which you have described is manufactured by Dr. Reddy's Laboratories. As to your sense of smell changing, I've seen nasal congestion and/or sinus swelling reported as possible side effects. If these persist or worsen then I'd say let your doctor know so that you can either try these from a different manufacturer or try a different drug. Hope ...

Sir, I have been taking Montelukast Sodium and levoctrizine dihydro chloride since few months as I feel relieved from allergy which used to cause cold and caugh.Although I feel fine now and want to quit this tablet now .Please suggest me on how to quit .I feel drowsiness which is having negative effect on my work .Please help me . ## This medication is not habit forming, so you don't need to taper off of it, or anything. However, stopping abruptly may cause some rebound sinus congestion, as reported by the U.S. FDA, but that should go away within a week, or so. Drowsiness can be a normal side effect of antihistamines, sometimes it gets so severe you can't stay awake to do anything. Are you on any other medications?

Hi all I have been taking Montelukast for the past 7 months and have noted that I now never ever get bitten by mosquitos. This is a very welcome side effect! ## Hello, David! How are you? While this isn't a listed side effect, though I'm sure that many would also welcome such an occurrence, it does make sense. Many medications can change your blood and sweat, which may make them unappealing to such insects. It's just how they react with your body chemistry. My dad was always well known to attack crazy numbers of mosquitoes and, if he were still with us, I'd gladly pass this information on to him to save him some miserable hours of itching. The typical side effects, as listed by the U.S. FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. Has anyone els...
