I am using DuoNeb (not just Abuterol) in my nebulizer. At first, I noticed only about 10 very tiny dots that would NOT come out. As time went on, those 10 tiny dots turned into over 100 (on EACH lens), which also would NOT come out. My Optometrist tried everything to get them out, even Acetone, but nothing worked. I ended up having to buy a new set of lenses and now I'm TERRIFIED to wear my glasses while using my nebulizer (which I take FOUR times a day). I don't have insurance, so I can't just have my insurance cover a new pair of lenses again. Has anyone else had this experience or know of any experiences like this? ## Is there no one out there who knows if DuoNeb (Nebulizer medication) can damage eyeglass lens's? Please help me find this out. If it happens again, I WO...

I would like to hear from people who have tried Tilade and can share their experience with it. ## I may not have any personal experience with Tilade (nedocromil), but I did want to share more information in the meantime if it helps anyone looking to start this medication: Nedocromil sodium is used to prevent wheezing, shortness of breath, and other breathing problems caused by asthma. It is administered by an inhaler under the brand name Tilade (although its effects in this form are said to be far less than those in albuterol or other well-known inhaler medications). I hope this helps!

I'm assuming you meant that your face was swollen and that could be the sign of an allergic reaction, or a bad side effect of the medication. This means it may not be the right medication for you to take and you may need to try something else. ## I am 73 yrs of age and suffering from enlarged Prostate Gland/Urine retention.Apart from taking medicine for enlarged prostate gland and voiding of urine I am taking Synasma 400 and inhalers for emphysema. My Urologist says that broncho dilater medicines impair function of ...

please give me some suggestions in regrowing the hair I have lost due to xolair injections. I'm still losing hair. I get bald spots then some of the hair grows and i lose it again and also i get new bald spots and the same thing happens again ## Are you still getting the injections? Because if you are, then there isn't likely to be much you can do to stop the hairloss or regrow the hair already lost. Learn more Xolair details here. Similar to what people experience on chemotherapy, their hair loss doesn't stop, nor does it grow back, until their treatments are done. ## I stopped the xolair injection in Oct 27 2011 and i'm still lose hair. A local doctor said that its been a year the chemical should be out of your system. but he is not a specialist in that type of injecti...

burn fat ## Hello, Based on my research Clenbuterol, which is marketed as Spiropent, Ventipulmin, is a sympathomimetic amine used by sufferers of breathing disorders as a decongestant and bronchodilator. People with chronic breathing disorders such as asthma use this as a bronchodilator to make breathing easier. It is most commonly available as the hydrochloride salt, Clenbuterol hydrochloride. -It also sometimes abused as a steroid (or weight loss drug) because of its "fat burning" properties. Research tells me that it is a legal to use Clenbuterol for that purpose. Clenbuterol is not an ingredient of any therapeutic drug approved by the US Food and Drug Administration and is now banned for IOC-tested athletes. Clenbuterol can cause these side effects: Nervousness Thyrotoxicosi...

What is a good substitute for Symbicort for Copd that has fewer side effects and more effective? ## There's really no way to know ahead of time how you might react or respond to any particular medication. Doctors can only "assume" that it will work well based on several individual factors (i.e. medical records, health, age, weight, diet, whether or not your taking anything else with it, etc). However, other people have suggested trying Advair as a closer alternative to Symbicort for Copd. Potential side effects and overall efficacy may be topics that you should ask your doctor's opinion on, since he or she at least knows your medical history and other personal information to back up their claims. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Advair Details I hope th...

Does anyone have any experience using gastrocrom to reduce extreme allergic responses to airborne plant pollen and mold? I experience extreme physical fatigue, inability to concentrate, the "Allergic cascade" which includes, at times, muscle pain in the upper body and involuntary muscle reactions. Symptoms start in March, and continue strong thru June, with some symptoms in the fall ragweed season. I have just started using 2 vials 4 times per day. My doctor says is will take 6 weeks to see if this treatment is effective. Just started 2 weeks ago. I am also taking xyzal, zyflo, singular, and have been on injections since the 1980's. Nothing has ever worked. Any suggestions (other than moving from Chicago to the south-western states?

I would like to know if there is ANY drug close to Nuvance which has been approved in the United States or in Europe to treat chronic sinusitis? ## Based on my research, the primary use of Nuvance is in the treatment of "allergic asthma". It may also be of use in the treatment of organ transplant rejection, graft versus host disease, allergy and infectious disease. I have yet to find any specific details even remotely related to chronic sinusitis, other than it's vaguely mentioned indications for 'allergies and infectious diseases'. Sinusitis itself is a sinus infection, but I believe there are many different antibiotics that doctors can prescribe for this type of condition. To answer your question though, there's really not enough available information on Nuvanc...

had asthma and panic attack got given six round hot pink tablets ## Hi ellie, Based on your description, the closest match I'm finding is Singulair (5mg), which is primarily used in the treatment of asthma. It happens to be a round pink pill as well, but has the following markings: "SINGULAIR" on one side and "MRK 275" on the other. Manufacturer: Merck & Company Inc. I have had cluster headaches for about 20 years, and was recently prescribed Symbicort for asthma. I just began taking it, and am getting severe headaches in the same area of my clusters. Are there any contraindications against taking Symbicort if you have clusters. The Symbicort is greatly helping with the asthma, but the headaches are terrible. ## I didn't find anything stating that it was contraindicated, but it can cause headaches as a side effect. Learn more Symbicort details here. Do you take anything for the headaches? ## I never had headaches until I started taking Symbicort, now I have one every day! So painful at time, I actually cried.

I also work two jobs . One is just to pay for medicine and doctor bills. Can any drug company help me with my medicine. I am too young to retire and can't get disablity because I have a job. Whom would pay for my medicine if I did not work. Help ## Medicaid. ## For anyone else seeking such information, it really depends on whether or not you have insurance. If you do, then unless you are disabled and receiving Medicare, you likely won't qualify for assistance, even those on Medicare only qualify during their coverage gap period. As to anyone else, yes there are programs for most name brand medications...

December 10th, 2012 Bayer had a voluntary recall of Bronkaid for wording that was left off of some packages. Walmart does not have it in stock right now and was part of the recall. Walmart could not tell me when it would be back on their shelves but they said it would be back. I am guessing Bayer is going to repackage all the ones that did not have the correct wording on the back of the boxes pertaining to use and such of Bronkaid. This was a mistake on Bayers part and that is why the voluntary recall. Hopefully it will be back on shelves soon. ## Thanks for taking the time to share this information. If it's of any help, I came across more specific details on the packaging recall, linked below: bronkaid.com/en/FormulaRecall.html Unfortunately they do not state when it will be back o...

I had just started using Bronkaid when it was recalled. It had helped my breathing tremendously. I switched to Primatene but don't like it as well I've been following the progress of Bronkaid availability, but it is getting frustrating. It was supposed t o be end February. Walmart had a coupon, but then said they had no stock yet. Help! ## @Sandi, If you really don't want to wait any longer for Bronkaid to be restocked, I would actually consider going to a compounding pharmacy to see if they can combine each of the active ingredients in Bronkaid into oral capsules for you: Ephedrine sulfate 25 mg (bronchodilator) + Guaifenesin 400 mg (expectorant). Just run a google search for a "compounding pharmacy (your city)" and there may even be a few that come up in your area....
