I found a pill that has an imprint on one side A2 and aspirin on the other someone told me this is a pain pill like vicodin. Can you tell me what it is? ## Hello, Gio! How are you? No, it contains Aspirin, exactly as it says. This tablet is manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 325mgs of it. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have a white bar-shaped pill with "A 2" on one side with the 3 scores. I was told it's Alprazolam 2 mg. It breaks into four parts but I'm just not sure. I used to have a really bad headache that lasted the whole day. Sometimes it hurt so much that I started beating my head, but when i concentrate on a specific thing I'll feel relaxed. Even a small harsh voice would irritate me to such an extent that I cry out! HELP ME! ## I'm seeking relief for a chronic daily headache. After 35 years and numerous treatments, I wonder if there is a cure (short of a labodomy) for this condition that takes over your life. We have medication that is a little help but does not eliminate the headache that can easily turn into a migraine. After accusing my wife of taking prescription drugs without a prescription and then settling on a family friend who had recently been over, I found the AZ aspirin bottle the pill had come out of. It is probably aspirin. ## Hi steppenwolf, The closest match I've been able to find is a round yellow pill with the imprint A 266, it has been identified as Dipyridamole (50 mg). There is also a possibility that the pill is a (100 mg) Atenolol Tablet, but I haven't been able to confirm that identification. Manufacturer: Actavis National Drug Code (NDC): 52152-0266 Dipyridamole keeps blood clots from forming after some types of heart surgery. It is also used to prevent strokes and heart attacks. The modified release Dipyridamole is used in conjunction with aspirin (under the trade names ...

You may want to contact them directly regarding your inquiry for more specific details, since nothing with this imprint appears to be coming up through any search engines. Novartis can be reached at the following number 1-888-669-6682. Their hours of operation are Monday thru Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm EST. I hope this helps! I found this pill in my sons room and i do not know what it is... please help me ## I've just found a similar pill in a bottle of baby aspirin. I can't find out what it is either. ## i beleive it is promethazine... ## I have a Kroger brand bottle of low-dose Aspirin; they are small round orange pills with S on top and 51 on bottom. ## Hello, I'm sure your heart sank when you found a pill you didn't recognize in his room. Fortunately I was able to find a match on the NIH database. According to the NIH this imprint and color is designated for generic low dose ibuprofen. As Kathryn stated earlier Kroger is one of the brands that uses this generic imprint. Hopefully this eases your mind, let me know if you have any further questions regarding this pill. Have a great day.

is there a pill like this in america i can take for headache that is as good as sydolil ## sydolil was given to my wife in mexico for headaches and it was great. we would like to know if there is a pill in american equal to this ## Sydolil contains Aspirin, Caffeine and Ergotamine and not, there is no medication currently on the U.S. market that combines all three of these. All three of them are available, just not combined in one medication. There are several formulations of Aspirin and Caffeine that are available, even over the counter, however, the Ergotamine would have to be taken separately. Has she tried consulting with her doctor? They would be best able to help her find an alternative. ## It used to be perscribed in the US but it lost its FDA approval because it can cause either...

I found this pill and I'm trying to identify it. My wife and I have both been on several medications for various issues. The older we get, the more meds we get. This pill with SJ on one side and nothing on the other looks familiar, but I can't place it. We are trying to clean out the old stuff from our medicine cabinet. ## Hello DJ, Found a match for the pill. Turns out this is an over the counter 81 mg aspirin pill manufactured by Ilex Consumer Products Group. The drug is sold under the name St. Josephs Safety Coated Aspirin. Below I linked a picture just to be sure I found the right one. NDC: 76000-0180 Hope this helps. Let me know if there is anything else you need help with. Have a pleasant day.

I recently got a rx refill of white watsons imprint 853 on them and a few people have told me these are bad quality! They said if they break easily and taste like chalk they are counterfeit!? They made my dad real sick! ## Yes got some in my script a few days ago break easily and doesn't desolve in water ## @Boo, Watson 853 is actually reported to be a legitimate medication made by Watson Pharmaceuticals (now known as Actavis). So as long as your doctor prescribed them I wouldn't necessarily question their legitimacy. The idea about them coming off as being fake is quite common though, ever since Actavis changed the formula from the original yellow version. They say that only the yellow dye was removed, but this clearly isn't the case when countless other patients have repor...

My doctor has increased my dosage from 75mg to 100mg. It has only been 2 days and already I am falling asleep at my desk at the drop of a hat. I have a constant headache (in my eye and the back of my head) and I feel dizzy. I even had a cold sweat whereby my cheeks were hot but my forehead was freezing. I generally just feel out of it like I am "high" on drugs! ## Have you tried checking your blood pressure when you start feeling like this? It sounds like you might be dropping too low, now. The FDA lists those as being possible side effects of this medication, as well as possible side effects of low blood pressure. I'm a heart and blood pressure patient myself who has also experienced such issues. Sometimes it was due to very low blood pressure, other times it was medication...
