my doctor prescribed this to me today and i was wondering what it is for...he wrote so many scripts for me i forgot what he said this one was for ..i would like to know what it is and all the information that you can give me on this. ## Relafen (active ingredient Nabumetone) is used to treat pain or inflammation caused by arthritis. anaproxin

ARTHRITUS ## my doctor just prescribed anaproxin ds for my plantars faciitis Is this similar to Advil or Ibuprofen? I am allergic to many drugs and need to know since I am on blood pressure meds and epileptic meds also. please let me know as soon as possible as i need to get something for this pain and inflamation. Thank You. ## Anaprox contains the active ingredient Naproxen Sodium, a prescription strength of the same stuff that's in Aleve. It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. I cannot give you any information on possible interactions since you didn't say what your medications were, but the allergy and interactions info is something your pharmacy should check when filling your prescripton. Have you talked to the pharmacist, yet?

I have this Yellow Oval Pill with the number 500 on one side and on the other side it is printed P 649. Im not what this pill is and any help would be awesome. ## The pill you are referring to is Nabumetone 500, generic for Relafen. It is generally used to treat Arthritis. I take it for Osteoarthritis.

can methylprednisone be abused by an addict

my son a meth addict and found a stash of these in room can this be abused? ## Methylprednisolone is used to treat severe allergies, arthritis, andcan also be used as a pain reducer. I believe this drug can be addictive, some hospitals use Methylprednisolone along with morphine for the reduction of pain after an operation for spinal stenosis or a herniated intervertebral disc. Large oblong white pill with the number 500 on one side the name relafen on the other. ## This should be a 500 mg pill of Relafen, as indicated by the name on the pill. Good question though, because usually pills do not have the full name inscribed on them, it just happened to be that way with this one. Do you have any other questions or information to add? ketostat mso 20/2/2/5 cream

CREAM FOR ARTHRITIS ## How do I get Ketostat cream for my shoulder. A MRI showed I have an injury and inflammation of the shoulder joint and 2 herniated discs in my neck. I am in PT now but the pain is awful. A friend gave me a small amount of Ketostat cream to put on my shoulder and it was great. keprcaine

keprocaine has been added to my entourage of medications. I am to use it sparingly to affected areas 2-3 times a day. It's for the lateral arthritis and bone spurs I have in one shoulder. After being treated with an injection (not w/keprocaine) the doctor ordered this cream. Has anyone ever used this and how did it help you, if at all. It worked wonderfully until I felt so good that last night I flipped around in bed to that side and came down on that miserable shoulder and I heard the crunching. Now for the test. I have put it back into use.

Enbrel Side Effects when Stopped

I have taken Enbrel for Psoriasis for the last 4 years. The side effect I had was allergic. I stopped taking it for one month and my Psoriasis became worse. Back and leg pain started and they were unbearable. I have to be on medication and am addicted to the drug. Is this normal? ## It is very common to experience withdrawal symptoms and rebound conditions when you abruptly stop taking any medication. If anyone has any experience with this, please post!

## what is endocin? ## I had an extreme reaction to this med. My throat closed. Was for muscle spasm and inflammation. ## Indocin is a name brand for Indomethacin. It is not used for muscle spasms though, this is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, so it will only help with inflammation and the aches and pains caused from it.
