I used Celebrex for post dental surgery pain. After a few days of use, I suffered acute pansinusitis (all sinuses were infected and blocked), and after a week of use, I suffered a breakout of urticaria (skin rash) over most of my body. Not such pleasant side effects. And it cost me some days out of work. When the Celebrex worked, it worked well, but unfortunately the side effects are cause for concern. Studying the leaflet, I discovered that there a wide range of possible side effects, so whatever system/s are weak in your body (skin and sinuses in my case) get affected first. Be careful to all. ## Why didn't they give you some hydrocodone (Vicodin) for the pain and take OTC Aleve for anti-inflammatory. No bad side effects with those two.

I just took a Diurex and a mobic within minutes of each other...is this a problem? ## Diurex actually contains Pamabrom, which is claimed to be a diuretic to help with bloating. Mobic contains the active ingredient Meloxicam and is a prescription nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. Unfortunately, since Diurex is actually an over the counter supplement and not a prescription medication, its interactions with prescription medications has not been studied, nor has its side effects. You could try asking your doctor or pharmacist if they have any information. Did you have any other questions?

Is this the drug for Celebvrex as I was told when purchasing this in Mexico ?? ## I think the drug you are asking about is Celebrex (corrected spelling). The active ingredient in this is Celecoxib and it is used as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used in the treatment of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, acute pain, painful menstruation and menstrual symptoms, and to reduce numbers of colon and rectum polyps in patients with familial adenomatous polyposis. Based on the active ingredients which you listed as the title of this topic, I believe I have found corrected spelling and/or equivalents. Thank You. ## Anaprox contains the active ingredient Naproxen Sodium, a prescription strength of the same stuff that's in Aleve. It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. I cannot give you any information on possible interactions since you didn't say what your medications were, but the allergy and interactions info is something your pharmacy should check when filling your prescripton. Have you talked to the pharmacist, yet?
