Artridol has been a lifesaver for me - I have Lyme disease and the joint and muscle pain is so bad that sometimes I had to remain in bed. I have been taking Artridol for 3 years now, one every 2-3 days, with NO sideaffects, and I have total bloodwork done yearly, and check my blood pressure regularly. I take it at night before bed, and by morning I am like I was in my 20s (I am in my70s now) with lots of energy and NO PAIN! This is worth its weight in gold as far as I am concerned, and both doctors here in Mexico that I have consulted say you can take up to 2 a day, but I only take them every 2 - 3 days as I said. We are in Mexico for the winter and I take enough up north for the summer, along with his prescription. It is well worth a trip to Mexico and see a doctor to get relief from a...
UpdatedI had two x-rays done by two different doctors here in Appleton WI, one said I have arthritis in my lower back, another one recently told me it is osteoarthritis. The pain is getting worse. But not one of these doctors prescribed pain medication. The 2 months of physical therapy ( the 1st doctor set me up with ) did NOT help at all, and after this last doctor telling me to do the same thing, I gave up, now hoping someone on here knows of a caring doctor here in the Fox Valley area. I would appreciate any help. ## Hi Oren, Sorry to hear about your run in with those "inexperienced" doctors. I may not have a caring doctor I can refer you to, but I can provide you with a couple links that may be of service to you in so far as finding pain management doctors within your general area....
Have been in chronic back pain for 20 yrs., have had back surgery; in the past 7 yrs. I have been diagnosed with fibro, severe disc degenerative disease in neck and back, arthritis, and a number of other issues. I can no longer take the injections due to decreased bone density. Over the yrs., I have been prescribed pain meds and that is the only relief I ever experience. Chronic pain is so very hard to live with, and diminishes the quality of life tremendously. It is so very sad that one cannot receive appropriate treatment anymore without being made to feel like a criminal - for those with documented health problems, it's hard to know who to turn to. I simply want to enjoy life as I used to, I can no longer even work. Does anyone know of a physician near Youngstown Oh or Pittsburgh...

My disc broke in the lumber area,I had lower back surgery, the orthopaedic surgeon did a compression of the spinal cord and bone fusion, removed the broken disc. I am in the 4th week of my 6 weeks recovery treatment. I am on epleptin 300 mg 3 x a day and I take synaleve or arcoxia 90 mg when in severe pain. The pain runs down my leg to my toes and sides of the right foot. The foot feels numb and tender at times like pins and needles and I cannot even touch it. I still have the foot drop on the right leg. At times I limp on the right foot as I cannot put pressure on the big toe due to pain. Will this and the pain eventually go away? Do I need physio?
Updated in ArcoxiaFor those worried about pain management here is a short version of my story, I had 6 major surgeries, worst was 9 inches ( instead of the one I was suppose to have) of spinal surgery due to adult spina bifida. For a year prior to it I could barely walk and was in severe pain.. Was told it was in my head by two neurologist. Received steroid and cortisone injections from pain management that ended in plastic surgery as the injections deteriorated my muscles and tissue! After my surgeries the Pain management Drs put me on 100 mcgs of Fentynal patch every 2days, gave me so much Vicodin, muscle relaxers, phenergan, fiorecet, ect I could have started my own pharmacy! Kept doing it for 6 months.. Ok after that they refused to see me stating since I can't have the injections they needed the...

Updated in MethylprednisoloneMy brother 72, has been taking Orcerin gm for his knee pains. Kindly explain longterm and short term side effects of all the ingredients of this drug. ## Orcerin-GM contains Diacerein, Glucosamine and Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM). The only actual medication in this is the Diacerein, the other two products are supplements that are believed to help with joint pain and mobility. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness and diarrhea.
