Finding A Pain Dr That Will Order Meds Nnear Either Youngstown Oh Or Pittsburgh Pa

Have been in chronic back pain for 20 yrs., have had back surgery; in the past 7 yrs. I have been diagnosed with fibro, severe disc degenerative disease in neck and back, arthritis, and a number of other issues. I can no longer take the injections due to decreased bone density. Over the yrs., I have been prescribed pain meds and that is the only relief I ever experience. Chronic pain is so very hard to live with, and diminishes the quality of life tremendously. It is so very sad that one cannot receive appropriate treatment anymore without being made to feel like a criminal - for those with documented health problems, it's hard to know who to turn to. I simply want to enjoy life as I used to, I can no longer even work. Does anyone know of a physician near Youngstown Oh or Pittsburgh PA who is willing to prescribe pain meds as a treatment option. I have tried everything else.

I have severe arthritis, scleroderma, Reynauds Syndrome, and HCV. I have had arthritis for 20 years. I have tried many drugs for pain over the years (Feldene, Aszulfadome. Cortisone injections, Celebrex. Mobid, Humira, Enbrel - apologies for any misspellings). Currently my PCP prescribes opiate pain killers; this is the ONLY relief I get. They improve the quality of my life, I am able to get routine tasks accomplished (getting dressed can even be difficult. I am prescribed 45mg Morphine Sulfate 2x and Immediate Release Oxycodone 6x. These are the only drugs that make it possible for me to live a normal life but it is difficult finding doctors to prescribe them. My PCP is looking to discontinue pain management and them I do not know what I am going to do; I will have NO quality of life. I take my medication as prescribed and do no abuse it. But these young punk drug addict criminals on the street make it difficult for people like me with legitimate medical conditions in which these types of drugs are a God-send.

I know your post is kinda old but have you tried allied pain management in Boardman, Ohio its by Youngstown? I know a couple guys that go there, and they said they take very good care of you and will get you on track with what you need.Trust me I understand what you mean by pain getting in the way of just living a normal life, and it's complete hell. These people are very nice and won't treat you like a criminal. They are very cool and down to earth people. But like I said, with how long it's been sense you made this post may have already found them already, I just hope I was able to help you out somehow brother
