I'v not seen anyone complaining about gastric reflux under the sternum. I am 40, and I've never had any gastric problems before. As soon as I started taking the Meloxicam, I noticed chest pains under my sternum. For 5 days I was taking meds to relieve the gas that was so unusual. I then thought about what was I doing different since the gas started, and It had to of been the Meloxicam. I referred back to the side effects, and the chest pains, shortness of breath, and rapid weight gain is what I had in common. I've gained 6lbs in 5 days. I've not weight over 136lbs in 17 years, and that was due to pregnancy now I'm 142lbs. I have discontinued the medicine, and will never take it again. I've also researched, and saw where there has been some heart attack scares wit...

Anyone know a doctor that will prescribe pain medication in Mobile Alabama? Suffer from severe arthritis and neck and back problems. ## HI, Daisy! Sorry that you're in pain. Since you're in Alabama, the best suggestion I can make is that find yourself a regular, general practitioner and then discuss the issue with them, so they can refer you for pain management. Basically the area of the U.S. from Iowa, Arkansas and etc. over to the east have all been hit with a ton of new regulations for the prescribing of pain medications, due to the heavy rates of improper and over prescribing that were going on. Under these new regulations, general practitioners are restricted in what they are allowed to prescribe for pain and how long they can prescribe it, so most patients requiring strong...

I suffer from MS and was experiencing a relapse. The advice was to take 5 days methylprednisolene. After first dose my face started puffing up and became bright red. Continued as I had had been having so much back pain and other MS symptoms. Thought that this was the lesser of 2 evils and would persevere. The course finished on Friday. Had very bad Saturday night. Really hot, vivid dreams and could not sleep and itched like crazy. When I got up on Sunday morning I noticed a spot on my chin. When I looked in good light I saw that my lower face was absolutely covered in spots. Pimples have erupted all over my chin and face and my scalp is really sore as there are bumps/spots all over andI can't stop itching. My ears are itching, but very sore as I have bumps/pimples in them as well. I...

I have a constant headache and been prescribed these but am worried about side effects as I'm already feeling nauseous with headaches. I am also on chemo taxol weekly. ## Headache with nausea may suggest a migraine headache. If you are diagnosed with migraine by your physician, he/she may give you a prescription for a medication that specifically treats migraines. Such medications help alleviate both the headache and related symptoms, including nausea. I suggest you see your family doctor first. ## Hello, Jan! How are you? Since you're doctor has already prescribed the Meloxicam, you could try taking it with food or a snack to minimize the possible nausea and stomach irritation it can cause as side effects. Other, as listed by the FDA, may include dizziness and increased risk of...

I have hot flashes at night and i feel like i am having memory loss and despite my repeated hard work i am not able to lose weight instead i am gaining it. are these possible side effects of the medication ? kindly help me soon. ## Hi, Sunita! It's really difficult to say for sure what might be causing these symptoms, though they aren't usually caused by the Folitrax. At your age, they could very well be due to hormonal fluctuations from having anovulatory cycles. Perimenopause can start as young as 35, but is most common in the early to mid-40's and the issues you're experiencing are typical signs of a lack of ovulation causing you t...

By Rimsa of Mexico, capsule, 25 gm. Told was good for arthritis pain. Any info...ingredients, effectiveness, etc.? ## DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THIS WILL WORK FOR GOUT? ## Is it safe to take Artridol if one is a diabetic? ## I just picked some up during a lockdown flareup in my right ankle. The kind that feels like a car was parked on it. The Mexican pharmacy did not have indocine but they had ARTRIDOL. The attack was over in about 12 hours and 4 tablets. I went back and bought every package in the store. This has steriod so it is not a daily drug. It comes in blister packs of 10 in boxes of 20. It is worth a trip to Mexico and pick up some colchicine there as well but watch the dose. I take two Artridol with a flare up and one at 4 hour intervals with the last one before bed with plenty of w...

I have heart palpitation, and have had them for the past week. I have also had sinus and a cough for the past week. Went to urgent care, and have bronchitis. I was prescribed the Methylprednisolone and an antibiotic. I am nervous about taking the steroid when I am already having heart palpitations. I didn't even think about mentioning it when I went in. ## Hello, Mar! How are you? Did they check your heart and blood pressure, when you went to urgent care? If so, there is most likely nothing to worry about, they'd not have prescribed it, if they had reason to be concerned. You also need to understand that in most cases heart palpitations aren't anything to worry about. It's just an unusual awareness of your heartbeat, it doesn't necessarily mean that anything is wrong...
