I was given alprazolam 0.5 for high anxiety and I wanted to know if it's stronger than the Mylan A1, and what is the difference between both these meds? ## The Mylan A1 pill is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals and contains 1mg of Alprazolam. My 13 year old child unwisely took what she believed to be an appetite suppresant with her friend. The pills looked like the orange .5 Klonopin pills but her toxicology test from the hospital is negative for Benzos less than 4 hrs after ingestion. She took 2 in 24 hrs and weighs about 85 lbs. She was completly stoned, disoriented, unable to form complete thoughts, unable to walk properly, pupils dilated, hyper. Any ideas? ## Those definitely aren't typical Klonopin side effects. I have been taking a round white Lorazepam pill from Watson, now my refill is from Ranbaxy. I took my antibiotic sulfamethoxazole 20 minutes ago. Will it hurt me to take one of my prescription xanax as well? If I have been taking Ativan 2mg 4 times per day for 8 years and it is obviously lost it's affectiveness, would changing to Xanax 2mg 4 times a day be the next step? Valium does not help at all. I have Cirrhosis (stage 4) and have been taking diazepam 10mg two times daily for 1 year. Will this hurt my liver? ## Valium is generally not hard on the liver. It could cause a subtle change in your liver enzymes but this should be negligible on blood tests/metabolic panels. It is not known to cause hepatotoxicity in most cases. Any such instance would be extremely rare. Decreased liver function may, however, affect the rate at which your liver metabolizes this drug. Your doctor should monitor your liver enzymes just in case and clearance of Valium may be decreased; meaning that it could build up to higher than normal levels in your blood plasma (serum). ## It is generally not known to cause hepatic issues, but your doctor should monitor you regularly, while you are taking it. My son took 2mg of klonopin this afternoon and had a mouth swab drug test about 3 hours later. What are the chances of it showing up? ## For some reason klonopins don't show up in mouth swab. idk why, they just don't.
