This is a small scored oval tablet. Color is pink/lavender. There is nothing on the scored side. On the other side there is what looks like a big capital A. It could be a V (if you turn it over). No other imprints on the tablet. It was supposed to be xanax brand 1 mg. Is that possible? ## I got the same lavendar oval shaped pill, with the large A (or W) on it, and it's supposed to be xanax 1 mg. Have you found out if it is really xanax?

I found a tablet in my granddaughters pants that she says is xanax or alprazolam that has markings of #5664 on one side and like 2 small triangles on other side with a 10 on it also. ## No, this is NOT Alprazolam. This tablet actually contains 10mgs of Buspirone, a generic for BuSpar, this is used to treat anxiety. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and dry mouth. numbers on one side ,size of a xanax bar ## I am sorry, but without knowing what those numbers are and anything else the imprint may entail, there is no way I can identify this for you. It is the imprint that identifies prescription medications, the size, shape and color do not actually mean anything. If you can post back with this additional information, I will gladly look it up for you to see what it is!

I have extreme anxiety that is so bad that I cannot function. I am on a anti depression medicine but still it does not work. Dr. has me on Clonazepam 1 mg 4 to 5 times a day and they do not work either. Do you think changing to prozac and x-nax could work better? Thank you. ## Well, this site is not medical professionals, so we cannot possibly try to decide what medications would work best for you, only you and your doctor can decide that. Prozac contains the active ingredient Fluoxetine, it is an SSRI antidepressant. You did not saw which one you are currently on, so I do not know if this is the same drug class or not.
