X-nax

I have extreme anxiety that is so bad that I cannot function. I am on a anti depression medicine but still it does not work. Dr. has me on Clonazepam 1 mg 4 to 5 times a day and they do not work either.
Do you think changing to prozac and x-nax could work better?

Well, this site is not medical professionals, so we cannot possibly try to decide what medications would work best for you, only you and your doctor can decide that.

Prozac contains the active ingredient Fluoxetine, it is an SSRI antidepressant.

You did not saw which one you are currently on, so I do not know if this is the same drug class or not. However, if your current one is not helping, you may want to try something from a different drug class altogether and see if you get better results.

Xanax contains the active ingredient Alprazolam, so it is in the same drug class as Clonazepam, it may or may not work better for you, there is no way to say for sure. The only way to find out is to try.
